Finally Haley puts everything together - lyrics, genre, style, clothes, band, and her voice. I even think I heard some horns! The song we have been waiting for years for. Let's hope the entire album is this quality.
In listening a few more times, the only weakness I hear is the 1st 40 seconds. Lyrics in the intro are weak and not up to the rest of the song. I also don't really get what Haley is trying to portray in the 1st part of the video. The intro would benefit from a fuller sound. Radio hits need to grab you right away and this song takes a while to develop. Still, the best song Haley has written and performed and shows she can be a star with the right song, the right band, and the right producer.
She is an excellent singer but I didn't see any resemblance to Janis Joplin or Christina Aguilera the way she interpreted this song really reminded me of joss Stone and it was great

I grew up in the 60's and 70's and did my clubbing in the 80"s and Haley can sing anything from those era's (and her PMJ stuff is great too) but this rings so true to the 60's R&B coming out of Muscle Shoals in the 60's. Grew up on that stuff in Muscle Shoals and this song could have come from then as far as I'm concerned. I love when Haley does music of other time periods and genres but this is fabulous!

Which indicates that Haley's new album will, after all, be released on Concord Music's record label or if not Concord, then on another record label.
Moreover, being that this Vevo promotion of Haley's new upcoming "Lo-Fi Soul" album is coming three months in advance to its anticipated release, also indicates that for the first time in history Haley will be receiving some major promotion and support. Which also indicates her record label, assuming it is Concord Records, must have a lot of confidence in Haley's new music and in Haley as well.

As Haley had negotiated for almost a year with virtually every big major record label in the country but ended up dishing all of them to sign with Concord Records and in which she says is the perfect record label for her.
Hence, one would have to assume that Concord did not only offer Haley everything that the big major record labels were offering her, but even more. Not to mention, that to complicate matters, from all appearances it seemed as if her and John Burk, the President of Concord, had an excellent relationship.
Hence, I will have to assume that Haley’s pre-release of “Don’t Know How to Love You” in her previous usual independent manner is all part of an elaborate scheme to excite her fanbase and is also a part of the buildup for her new upcoming “Lo-Fi Soul” album from the get-go.

It was American Idol Season 10 that Haley was on, and sang House of the Rising Sun, superbly, you're right. There are a number of super performances by her on there. The one nuisance is that they're all shortened to fit into a 90 second time slot.

When this dropped I think to myself this is going to be massive, bigger than creep, it had a rise in views daily but that lasted shortly. Creep gets 50k views daily and is headed for 60 million. This gets 2 k a day sometimes 1. I think sharing is key to independent artist like Haley.

I grew up in the 60's and 70's and did my clubbing in the 80"s and Haley can sing anything from those era's (and her PMJ stuff is great too) but this rings so true to the 60's R&B coming out of Muscle Shoals in the 60's. Grew up on that stuff in Muscle Shoals and this song could have come from then as far as I'm concerned. I love when Haley does music of other time periods and genres but this is fabulous!

It deserves the same amount of mass marketing and mass exposure the other top echelon music artists are receiving. Simply putting a low-budget video on RUclips and creating a little buzz via social media isn't nearly enough. This song has epic hit stamped all over it and should be receiving that kind of mass exposure in my opinion.

I have been obsessed with Haley since she was on American Idol and robbed of winning by some crappy country crooner. She was amazing on AI and her rendition of Bennie and the Jets was the best I’ve ever heard. I fell in love with her voice then and I still love it. I am surprised she isn’t on the radio or have more traditional success in the industry. RUclips aside, she should have major labels pursuing her and chart topping singles and be on the same level as Billie Eilish, Joss Stone and Adele.
