Well done! It's nice to see an American unit portrayed that does NOT belong to the Rangers or an Airborne division! The 90th Infantry Division called themselves the "Tough Ombres", hence the "TO" on their patches.
During the 60th anniversary of the D-Day Landings, my son and I walked the lanes of Brittany and were astounded at the height of the hedgerows and the impassable terrain and we were not encumbered by weapons, ammo and backpacks.

Good overall movie. Well done & well portrayed. We make a lot of films. May we suggest: DARKEN the words - they bleed or disappear in the background, hard to read. Also the music over powers the voices at times. Less volume in the music. Keep up the good work.
Agreed. Terrible re-enactment. The Germans were entrenched within the hedgerows with positions at each corner opposite the entrance which not only provided them excellent defilade, it allowed the to rake or troops with interlaced fire from their MG42’s. Along this axis between their machine guns were additional fortified positions which often included anti tank artillery that had been pre-sighted. The
@@frankvandergoes298 I have read about a 3 day tour that takes you from Normandy to Paris with overnight stops along the way. That would be an amazing trip to see the hedgerow country and the Falaise Gap.

war detectorist nice to see u here man and I think you can buy a deactivated m1919 at Ciney. I know that you can buy a 50 cal there. I saw them over there for 600€, without tripod.
WOW awesome one guys, unlike other WW2 films i felt yours was ''balanced'' as in when that American was cleaning his glasses the German shot him, where as some ive seen as soon as hes finished a random American come out of no where and saves him... if u get what iim sayin lol great video non the less
Jolie vidéo, les effets sont bien faits, je ne parle pas des costumes et décors qui sont impeccables ! Je vous invite à mettre moins de scènes de marche dans la prochaine.
How is he going to fire the 30 cal when the Rounds are not correctly inserted into the Belt? The Germans helmet is too new looking and has no wear to it as does the assistant on the 30 cal and it has not textured finish
These soldiers running around and in clean and starched uniformes is a joke. My dad parachuted into Normandy in 44 and forever after lamented the fact that there were times when a shower was weeks upon weeks apart.
Destroygary Funky thank you for your comment, but if you look at about 1:29 you will see that the face has been made up to make it dirtier and therefore more realistic
I agree with Destroygary Funky. Just because they had dirt doesn’t change the look of the uniform. My Great Uncle served in Omaha Beach on D’day. And I don’t think he looked that clean in Normandy. Other than the uniform I think it was a great film.
Why they bring .30 light machine gun they are only 4 it is violation of the sop, that is a crew serve weapon issued for a platoon size 40 men frontage.
My father fought with the 90th Infantry Division in the hedgerows, and i’m an old Infantry officer myself. This looks pretty authentic to me. (except for the blanks in the .30cal), but hey.
Terrible depiction. The US Army Official history does not support hedgerow combat being like this. The hedgerows were the boundaries between meadows, farmed plots and orchards. This was shot in an ordinary forested area. Wouldn't the Army have had classes to make soldiers learn a dozen important phrases in French and German? Consulting a phrase book in the field could have the same result as texting while driving. Take your glasses off in combat to clean them? That soldier would have been a clerk in the rear.
muchos fallecieron y mucha familia se quedaron sin hijos, que desgracia,la guerra brutalidad de ambas partes tenían que buscar intereses y buscaron su muerte....
Americans by this time have been in the field continuously for some weeks. No showers, and no clean uniforms. Clothing and equipment should have been in "rougher' condition.
Les "americains" parlent avec un accent francais plus epais qu'un camembert de Camembert. Pourriez vous employer des autochtones pour jouer les roles correspondents? Le reste du film OK.

Airsoft and replica stores. World war supply you can get denix replicas. Airsoft megastore and evike are good for airsoft.
