Just bought mine and first week in I absolutely love it. And trust me the panic brake assist SAVED MY LIFE TODAY. I never slid or fishtailed from 65/70 to 0 in less than 200/225 feet. I absolutely thought I was a goner when I came around a curve and there was a stopped vehicle with no lights.
@@UniversalNissanOrlando thank you so much. I didn’t realize the gravity of the new gadgets for brake assist or park assist but I surely do now. I honestly should not be here today.
sorry to be so off topic but does someone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot my login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me
@Ibrahim Malcolm i really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and im in the hacking process now. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Yes that have scared me me when I'm backing up. I thought I had hit something the way the brakes were rubbing. This has happen several times. And now I'm nervous when I'm backing up.
Thanks Josh, My sister just picked up her 2021 Nissan Sentra SR today, and coming home we were thinking there was something wrong with it, because of the wheel vibrations on the highway. seeing this video helped to get her fears under control. This seems like a very safe car to have. Thanks
I just purchased a 22 Nissan Altama and the first time backing up ,have to get comfortable on using the back up camera. The way the brakes rub it really scared me
Great video Josh but the music is soo loud and you speak so low that had to play with the volume all along. Again good work with the info of security features
it's a very impressive car. it's amazing of how much of an improvement of the new Sentra compared to the previous generation. also, consumer reports rated the new sentra very well. my only gripe with this car is that it is slightly underpowered. I would like to see the 2.0 turbo version in the New Sentra SER.
It sucks to drive this around cuz i get a lot of modded cars pull up next to me tryna hit the gas or today had a dude beg me for a 2 min race lmaooo i cry telling people its only 149 hp and slow af 😭. Really amazing ride though, comfortable af.
ya nissans are great 😃 especially when they randomly like to use the emergency slam brake when driving on a road with no obstacles in front or behind them
You're right this feature is scary I disabled it because my car was randomly breaking almost causing me to go out of control... Also when I needed it the most..and with it enabled and a point blank giant rim in the middle of an exit ramp it failed to break! Causing thousands of dollars in damages and repairs ..
My 2019 needs to stop slamming on the brakes when I am halfway across a set of railroad tracks. No vehicles in front of me, slowly accelerating from an intersection and going across a pair of tracks. I get across the first track and across the first rail of the second track. Then at 7mph, the damn radar decides it sees that last rail and panic brakes. It causes a risk of being rear ended. And it pisses me off.
Holy guacamole, it DOES have camera recognition ! My 2015 Rogue uses data from GPS NAV system for speed limit suggestions. But your Sentra in this video, sure enough uses TSR ! (traffic sign recognition) WOW !! ruclips.net/video/WUri0ivBN4g/видео.html
I bought this car as a commuter car, and I didn't realize I had the sr trim (which is the sport trim) I accidently pushed the S button on the shift and pulled over thinking something was wrong. Lol I called Nissan and resolved it. Oopsies
If I might interject with some information, I have a 2021 Sentra SR trim... eh.. I gotta say it's kind of a dog in it's class for acceleration, BUT it does have a sport mode, basically keeps it from dreaming about only MPG all the time and it's not all that bad actually, just nothing special. I really like the driving modes, they are very distinct. Coming from a 2016 Focus SE daily driver to a 2021 Sentra, I feel like it's a little slower, but still decent nonetheless. 2k closely monitored miles on it now lol. If you were thinking about going with a Sentra I would highly recommend it for sure. It is absolutely amazing in every regard: super quiet, ergonomic and comfortable, safety and tech features are very nice.. it feels like a much more expensive car.. the torque, acceleration are it's weak points though. EDIT: I came about this video by just finding out about it's emergency braking system so I wanted to check out videos on it just for the sake of having another safety feature just in case.
I test drove it twice and it felt very comfortable! I'm 5'9" and weigh 225 lbs. I wear XXL shirts, size 40 pants lol just to give u an idea. Hope it helps!! 😅👍🏼
anyone know how to disable it? I got a 21 nissan versa s and as soon as I let off gas brakes are applied automatically and gets really annoying within seconds or driving. I read the manual and I can't find a way to disable it please help
There law that limits car braking distance so you don't catch it from behind Europe is the worst I modified my brakes it stop so fast food thing had better seatbelt but I am alive and car survived

Wow that's so great to hear! We are happy you and your vehicle are safe! Got to love the new technology Nissan is implementing.

You are like the only one that talked about the sports mode! hahaha
Got my SR Electric Blue/Super Black about a month ago. Wife and I both love it. 👍👍
Nice I think that's my favorite color for the Sentra!

This was a great review. Keep up good work
Glad you enjoyed it!
Yeah my Sentra has saved me so many times
Thanks for the ride 👌
That backup camera is the bomb! I don’t know how to parallel park so maybe this will help.
It is crystal clear. I'd say it would help for sure!

Great review but the music cuts are a little annoying because the voice is nice and calm but the music comes loudly and not pleasantly.
I thought the GPS/NAV provided the speed limits, not sign recognition through cameras?

Josh do you like playing Ludo?
Just copped a two tone today

I want a Nissan jacket ✌🏾😎
Me too! I don't even have one yet...
Hey Josh, what's your view on the acceleration of SR - Premium ?
It's great for a vehicle in this category. Not a sports car but it picks up!

i like this car but i feel the inside is kinda crammed for larger person
They lowered the roof about 2 inches from previous models
My friend that’s 6’2 bought one and loves it

Is that round view camera only on the sr?
It is only available on the Premium Package SR Trim Level.
Is this feature on the 2020 Sentra sr?
Yes I believe it did come on the 2020 Sentra SR

How much is it?
Take a look at universal-nissan.com/sale/nissan-sentra-orlando-fl for all of our Nissan Sentra's that are in stock or in transit.
My car when I drive in USA...
How tall are you?
I’m 5’11 and not exactly the supermodel body type. I’m very very comfortable in the seat and have plenty of leg room.

Not with nissan! I have a lifetime power train so mine is covered regardless 🤷♀️
