God, it goes so hard but in SUCH a different way in the beginning. They don't IMMEDIATELY get to the drop like they used to. I can't wait to get back to this fight, Lucifer and Gabriel were always my favorites.
This is cool! It may just be my ears, but it reminds me of the final boss theme from the first game in the Dept. Heaven series. I don't know what it's called in Japan, but here in the US it was titled Riviera: The Promised Land (and I specifically mean the PSP version, not GBA or WonderSwan) ...And incidentally, I just found out that there's an HD remaster being developed. It's great to see this resurgence of old RPGs being remastered and remade!
@@kurosu_game I actually plan to move to Japan in the future, and I'm a self-taught artist, writer, and photographer, with plans to get into music and game design! Most of my inspiration comes from Japanese media, like Dept. Heaven and Star Ocean, so I'm looking forward to contributing to the creative scene. I think it's mainly because I'm tired of just playing games now, I'd like to make them as well!
Wow, did you make this? Because it sounds very authentic. Love that you included the SO4 version's intro and fills too. Solid job if I say so myself. I hope the in game version with SO2R sounds as good as this.
