씨엔블루 여덟 번째 미니앨범 ‘RE-CODE’
2020년, 밴드 씨엔블루가 데뷔 10주년을 맞이했고 멤버 전원이 30대에 진입했다. 밴드를 둘러싼 많은 것들이 변한 만큼, 3년 8개월 만에 발표한 이번 앨범은 팀명인 ‘Code Name BLUE’를 다시 정의한다는 의미의 ‘RE-CODE’로 결정했다. 이번 앨범은 지난 10년간 쌓아 온 씨엔블루라는 이름의 단단한 존재감을 증명하는 앨범이자, 변화의 흐름 앞에 선 씨엔블루의 미래를 희망적으로 그려볼 수 있는 앨범이다.
타이틀곡 ‘과거 현재 미래 (Then, Now and Forever)’는 떠난 이의 빈자리 속에서 남겨진 일상을 살아가는 이의 복잡한 감정을 진솔하게 담은 곡이다. 씨엔블루가 지금까지 보여주었던 다양한 록 음악과 같이 감수성이 짙은 멜로디에 얼터너티브 록 편곡으로 완성도를 높였다.
CNBLUE's 8th Mini Album 'RE-CODE'
In 2020, the band CNBLUE celebrated its 10th anniversary and all of its members entered their 30s. As much things have changed around the band, the album, which was released after three years and eight months, was decided to be ‘RE-CODE,’ which means redefining the team name ‘Code Name BLUE.’ This album proves the solid presence of the name CNBLUE, which has been built over the past decade, and is an album that can hopefully portray CNBLUE's future in front of the tide of change.
The title track ‘Then, Now and Forever’ is a song that honestly describes the complex feelings of a person left behind living a daily life in the absence of a person who has left. CNBLUE's emotional melody and alternative rock arrangements have increased the level of perfection, like the various rock songs it has shown so far.

It’s hard nowadays to compete views. BOICE or CNBLUE long time fans are 10 years older now. Busy with their own life, works, family or kids. And some of them probably have a change of heart which I did not blame them cause it’s their choice. Me too sometimes late in realizing they release album. If go to any reaction videos, please do ask them to watch for CNBLUE. I do go and dm on their SNS or youtube sometimes but probably not many ask for it so they skip to react for this marvelous band. Reaction video do helps other people to learn who is the best band in 2nd generation that achieved so many awards. Even Love Cut are hardly reaching 1m in a month now.

I just discovered them in 2016, and in between catching up with their previous and newer songs, videos and attending some concerts, I'm still going strong in 2020. I love Yong Hwa and CNBlue since 2019 and 2010 respectively . I have been watching how they faced with many difficulties and struggled hardly. Especially in the first two years, Yong Hwa ran around different variety shows, practised songs and created own songs every day. He could only sleep for one or two hours a day, but he never complained, and always smiled warmly, shared joy and sorrow with the members. He gradually led CNBlue step to the world. They have broken many records, received numerous awards and recognitions. Every time I attend their concerts, it is supreme enjoyment!
In the past four years, Yong Hwa has faced many difficulties and suffered a lot of injuries and solved many problems by himself. He cried in front of us for the last concert in Hong Kong before he enlisted in the army. I cried with him and promised to meet each other again. I wait because it is worthy! I am very grateful to Yong Hwa for fulfilling his promise. I understood that it is a very difficult decision for you and CNBlue to renew contract with FNC and return to the music world under the name of CNBlue. I will support all your decisions. I have never left, no matter what happens, the past, present and future, I will always be with all of you as a strong backing. 🙌🏻🙌🏻👍👍👏🏻👏🏻💙❤️💙❤️😍😍

About ten years ago, I first knew of Yong Hwa oppa from the K-drama You're Beautiful, and soon after that I fell for CNBlue because of "I'm a Loner". They became one of the first K-POP boy groups I loved. Thanks to them, I realised how much I was into pop rock. Years have gone by and today I'm still stanning them. There are days while listening to their songs, I feel wrongged because they are quite underrated despite their great music. I am a K-POP multi stan and I must admit that CNBlue is a highlight in my blooming days of youth. Songs like "Ready N Go", "Love", "Let's go crazy", "Intuition" or "I'm Sorry" and "Between us" are for ever on my favorite playlist. If you're reading this, thanks so much, CNBlue, for the past decade, and for today's beautiful song. And tomorrow, I'll stil be supporting you. You guys will always be in my heart.

As a long time Boice this song is really meaningful for me, Yonghwa did an amazing job in creating this masterpiece. He put everything I felt about CNBLUE in the last couple years with all the highs and lows into a song and basically held out a hand to fans and said it is okay to be sad but eventually the happy times will come again lets just walk this path together. Am I the only one who noticed that every stuff that is broken in this MV is color BLUE? There might be no meaning on it but I just realized that maybe it is CNBLUE itself. We all know that every letter on BLUE describes every member, but knowing that there's only 3 members left makes the CodeNameBLUE broken also. AND THAT'S REALLY REALLY SAD. I'm legit crying. 😭
