So maybe the song on the surface speaks of a breakup and addresses someone as "baby" as if it were a song of love separation, but under the lines, it addresses the leaving of their friend and bandmate.

Been a fan of CNBLUE for 10+ years now, and they are still terrific. There is something special about 2nd generation Kpop groups! They will still rock these classics even 10 or 15 years from now.
