It'll be 40 years ago this Christmas 2019. Where did my life go? The twelve men chosen to wear the Blue&White became instant legends on that wonderful, marvellous, extraordinary, never-to-be-forgotten Boxing Day morning. Because there's no buses i walked to Hillsborough from Heeley and FLOATED HOME again.
@@johnpoole4830 🤣🤣🤣🤣 40 years ago pal not recent like bouncing day massacre and now in pub league with not a pot to piss in and don't even own own ground ( which worth about £60lfail to get up this year and your doomed
Our Lancashire trouble match back in 80 s were there had already been deaths with the venue ,blackpool v Bolton also kicked off at 11 am it still didn't stop mayhem ,before and during and after tangerine army as usual rocked especially Manny road mob .
Fast forward to 2022 and Wednesday are BACK in their favourite league - LEAGUE ONE the old THIRD DIVISION. On the 24th September 2017 at Hillsborough, the Blades thrashed Wednesday with an easy 4 - 2 Victory. Under manager Chris Wilder, United the mighty and magnificent Blades would go on and win automatic promotion to the PREMIERE LEAGUE again the following season. ⚽⚽ - ⚽⚽⚽⚽ SHEFFIELD UNITED FC THE BLADES ⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️
And relegated 2 years later with terrible record and Wilder sacked. It is all up and downs mate. But I believe SWFC have still won more trophies than SUFC and nearly 100 years since Utd lifted any significant silverware!
@@andrewreardon8093 yer yer yer I've heard it all before. To be totally honest I'm fast becoming very disinterested in the game. You say it's all about ups and downs, it is but it's also about very LARGE ridiculous amounts of money to stay up in the premier league. The likes of United can't compete with the premier leagues elite. They ( United ) have had some bad owners down the years who have never invested in the playing side of the club properly, they have only ever been interested in toping up their own riches, with the success of promotion gained relegation soon follows because of this. I do believe it's the same at Wednesday, hence the league they are in now. The Championship is fast becoming the premier league division two, it won't be long before they ( United ) are back in the same league as Wednesday unless a new owner comes in that is prepared to spend big, and I don't see that happening anytime soon. The game is in urgent need of a big big clean up ON and OFF the pitch. Enjoy the new season when it comes around. ⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️
Proper derby with probably 60/40 Now when Wednesday at the lane with 3000 can’t tell the difference between them and any of the worst hooligan mobs/ firms
A record that will never be broken, close to 50,000 fans for a normal 3rd tier league match.

Now sadly we've got mercenaries who play for money and not the owl. Sad times all round. But hey this is the real massacre.... Not a noncey 4-2

Sheff Utd are as boring as Man City and that's saying something
@@jacobburtonswfc Yes that is saying something to make that comment
@@michael7286 Only stating a fact, two extremely boring clubs
Is the rivalry over hyped ? not 1 arrest at this Match , and 93 semi not any bother so I'm led to believe , more like Mersey side derbies

wow... now all we can manage is a 0-0 draw... :(
