8 months after collection our campervan from Germany, we still haven't got it legal in Spain, van life is in limbo as we continue to wait for the paperwork, this has to be the last week as enough is enough and we're getting fed up with this dragging on.. In today's video we share what we've been getting up to whilst we wait, lots of little jobs to do on both vans and our old Spanish house.. Stick around as this surely has to be the end of the 'van build' so we can resume van life travel content again!

Hi Nick and Sarah, not sure if anyone has already said this, but your little catches will work a lot better if you put a washer under the catch and a washer under the screw. This allows the catch to float over the two surfaces that it touches and makes it much easier to turn . It also stops the screw from moving. As they are now you will find that the screws over tighten or become too loose. Very good idea though Nick. Oh, I think you said Nord VPN around 10 times. You asked how people are. We recently lost one of our lovely cats whilst on holiday in Cornwall, so, well you can imagine! She’s been gone 5 weeks now, but has been seen once last Thursday. We have sent letters and posters down, and put posters up ourselves whilst there, looked extensively for her and alerted all the cat organisations, so we are waiting wishing, hoping and waving wands with the intent that we get her back safe and sound. The cupboard locks is a clever solution. What about putting a thin washer between the block and the cupboard wall? Be easier to swivel around and maybe avoid getting a scrape mark on the cupboard wall. Enjoying your videos, thanks!

You could see magnets down the middle of your screen door instead of Velcro. Then it would automatically snap back together when it shuts.

Don’t buy PLASTIC plants when you can grow herbs happy in the shade; Parsley, Coriander, Chives,

I use a walker that I had taken out of my van while I took a short trip. I forgot to store it in my shed and someone stole it while I was gone. Who would stoop so low as to steal a walker, which a person would only have because they need help walking?
😮 I believe most people are good but there's definitely a handful of ****s out there 😢 Hope you didn't have too much trouble as a result of the theft x

You can buy small square magnets would they work for the curtain on the side door, the shop bought ones usually have tape around the edges to stick magnets to. Keep your chins up and never be bored with you.

A tip for keeping cupboard and drawers from opening when travelling is to use plastic kiddy/toddler locks. Bit fiddly to use at first but you soon get used to them and they work well.

Its been great watching you and I can appreciate your frustration. My husband and I sail and last year we had so many problems. We were delayed a month with engine problems and weather then with the late start just couldnt get back the last 12 hours with the weather and wind. I ended up ditching when my big dog fell in a harbour we were sheltering in and was swimming out to sea in a blind panic. The hubby had a perfect window about 2 weeks later and was towed back by the RNLI when the fan belt broke. Boat hauled out 100 miles away by road then his van broke. Glad to say our children helped him bring her home last week whilst mummy/grandma dog sat. Now all we can think of is how soon can we get away. Last year was a struggle.

I personally would use Danish Oil on the chairs. First it is quick air drying and secondly it will not change the colour of the original wood.

It was good seeing your lovely roof terrace again and all of the upgrades you have done. It reminded me of when you had your tent on there during COVID, and you did your vlogs from there. I was just thinking of another idea suggestion for your cupboards etc, how about get some lizard stencils and dab paint lizards in places, give it a little colour where ever, then if you don’t like it you can paint over it.
