Totally agree. You can add Rodon in there as well. Many were calling him a bum late last year.
@@josephweeks820 I will admit, I was skeptical about Rodon. I didn't give up on him, but I also wasn't expecting much. Who can blame me? He missed most of last year and he was terrible when he did throw. There was no way of knowing if it was just a hitch, or if he lost it. Judge on the other hand, was clearly just slumping, he's too damn good to play that bad. And it's not like he was awful, he hit a couple of homeruns, he just was having trouble making contact. That's normal, he's a power hitter, they're all streaky. Judge has actually been much more consistent than most sluggers in recent years, his slumps are rare and usually not very long.

That’s because a lot of people are casual fans that either never took a cut after high school OR have very little understanding of the game itself. It was only a matter of time before Judge started seeing the ball well. He is likely to slide back a little before being at his absolute best still. It happens to every hitter every season. Soto will have his slump at some point this season. We will see if these fans have that same energy for him.
I was pleasantly surprised to see Gleyber with that hustle double there.

It's great to see him hitting again too, I think he's gonna bounce back this year, he had an undiagnosed injury for a lot of last year, I think you can chalk the poor production up to that. He's still probably past his best years, but he could be a solid anchor in the middle of the lineup.

I don’t know why people were sweating Judge. Baseball is as much about rhythm as any other sport. The season is so long that all players have slumps. Soto has one every year. We will see how long it takes for fans to boo him like they did Judge.
It was just a matter of time before Judge started seeing the ball well and gets his balance over the plate. Poor guy carried the team the last two seasons and a lot of people began question him early in the season.

Rizzo has been on 🔥 lately. Last 7 games .407/.429/.926 and during that span 11H 7RBIS 4HRS. BA up to .277 at the moment. He started out slow, but now he's locked in. Congratulations on 300 career HRs 👏👏👏👏👏.

Hes from Florida, everyone's worried about the concussion but a lot of people from the South start slow if the weather's on and off in the early spring. If his depth perception and vision are okay then maybe we dont need another first baseman until his contract year... Hope he stays healthy and hot goin into may.

Its interesting how we had 2 weeks ago a video by Jomboy where he talks about how the Mets seem to give up on breaking up the double play. In this game, because of Judge's break up the play grey area slide, the Yankees scored 6 times. Can you believe people even doubted him 2 weeks ago?
Well, I would say the Yanks took the first game loss really serious. Brewers got pounded really hard yesterday and today.
