what length tip did you wind up going with? I just ordered a 15" for my duramax and am not wanting it to stick out to far. The way yours looks is perfect, it just looks really short for total length.
This tip looks killer! Do you have the part number by any chance? I’m doing the 5” dual-exit system from FloPro... I just hope the bends are the same 90 degree bends that you have here on the single kit.
frogman, i am in the same state as you (queen creek)- what has your experience been with warranty/legal since your removed installed this? also do you have a go to dealer you can recommend?
No problems with warranty yet because nothing i've had fixed has had anything to do with the powertrain at all. I used Coulter Cadillac on Camelback and they always take good care of me and my truck.
Off topic, but are those the stock Michelins ? I've scrubbed, degreased, put tire treatment on mine and they still turn the same brownish color that it looks like on yours.
Use orange eagle one a-z wheel tire cleaner with tough brush it's going to take 2-3 applications and alot of scrubbing but that stuff will clean them right up. Best tire cleaner I've used.
EGR is disabled but still in the truck and not blocked in case I have to go back to stock for trade in or emissions laws it will be just a bit easier. Same goes for the DEF tank which is still in the truck as well but obviously not functional.
@@FROGMAN524 do you have an Instagram I want to know how you were able to leave all the egr? How's your fuel mileage now in the city and highway? Any issues since the delete?
Any emissions tampering is illegal in ANY state. They only ways to get in trouble is if somebody turns you in, D.O.T/caught in a emissions check point, or if police pull you for excess smoke or exhaust sound.
@@codybrizendine188 Its also illegal to smoke pot in most states, but zillions of people do it. Cops have bigger worries than if you cut your cat and DEF off. When they just just want to come home alive, they can't Fg care less about this
If this is your 1st free flow glass pack muffler From Flo Pro, the glass pack wears off quick. Once you put 15-25K miles on the truck the muffler wont drain out the in cab drone like it did before.

This is a 12" tip. Any longer and it would stick out way too far.
Well I've already got a 15" on the way but with 4" exhaust I may have a little more room to cut the exhaust back.

Stock michelins and haven't noticed browning of any kind yet.

Tuning turns it off. I left the tank in case I have to go back to stock one day.

Zackery Gorham no. Has to be a tuner that can turn off the emissions equipment like an EFILive tuner such as MotorOps or PPEI.

Just got the same exhaust. Does that tip keep soot off your bumper/ rear quarter panel?
I have a very similar setup on my lbz. They took my tip out just a hair past the panel and I have had zero soot on my body. Very pleased with it.
