    Great outing from Jack....long due to see him up to the 7th!! Also extremely happy to see another hit from Mookie (Edman and Muncy). I would've used Henriquez in the 9th to save Ben for a piggyback with Knack tomorrow instead a normal bullpen game

      I liked that he used Ben to go for the shutout and to give him some pitch work right off the bat in this series. Don't give the Mets anything they can build momentum on. With Henriquez, he could have blew it giving up a couple few runs before the third out. No thanks. We don't need to see that.

    This is what Dodger Pitching looks like when they're not sign steeling like the Astros of 2017.

      It makes sense to do the bullpen in game 2, since they only needed two innings today and there's a day off Tuesday anyway, might as well let Beuhler get the full rest

      Bullpen game had to happen at some point.
      Long Flaherty start + Day off after tomorrow= Bullpen Game and an extra day of rest for Walker

      They said on the broadcast it would be better to do the bullpen for #2 because you need to use inning eaters for 3-5 which are on consecutive days.

    • @ocneal
      @ocneal 14 часов назад

      Huh 🤔, who? Yes, Dave is growing into his position a MGR. He seems to be doing a lot of good things. But there’s a whole lot of help behind him too, I believe. I don’t know who is in the war room with him in planning for the next game, but there is a lot of group meeting planning who you pitch, how to pitch, how long to pitch, which pitcher to have pitch to opposing teams batters, how many batters to pitch to, etc. Probably the same with hitters. And, it seems that the coaches are highly trained for their roles as well. Then mgmt has built a helluva group of talented players around them as well. Players that are multi-positional, such as Tommy Edmonds, Kike, Muncy, Mookie, Miguel Rojas, Chris Taylor, and that helps out a lot. NOW, in the playoffs, it seems that the Dodgers - I DON’T know if it’s just Dave Roberts, are opening up the ‘Small Ball” aspect of the game of baseball. Right now, the Dodgers seem like a real class organization from top to bottom. They are making some big trades, and making some very positive trades, such as Flaherty, Michael Kopech, Ben Casparious was a good draftee, etc. And they’re placing players on the DL and having Training Staff take care of them properly to avoid long-term injury. So the GM has made some good trades that have helped Dave manage the
      Game as well-having more options. The payroll is very high, but if used correctly, then they can have some successes like they’re having this year. So, Yes, Dave Roberts is making some good moves, but a $Billion contract for him - I think that’s too much.
