One of the best final dungeon themes in any RPG if you ask me. The beginning gets you amped up, the sound of metal clanging at certain points lets you know it’s ancient civilization and machinery you’re trekking through and looking at, and the fast, frantic, and somewhat intense feeling beat gives off that feeling of “the climax is just ahead”.
the other five being: to grasp tomorrow, a light illuminating the depths, phantasmal blaze, spiral of erebos, end of saga. wait i literally just listed all trails final dungeon osts excl the calm ones (SC + Ao) falcom is amazing.
@@ThanhTriet600 my favorite Kiseki final dungeon theme is between A Light Illuminating The Depths and Tree At The Farthest End. I also really like End of Saga.
@@drakath5727 There isn't exact confirmation but if it were to be Switch first, likely other platforms later. It probably won't run the best on Switch but there's been much more demanding games and Switch 2 is eventually coming.
I remember this being the song they used in the trailer for the PC release of Sky FC. Thought it sounded nice, though I didn't think too much of it. But honestly, playing through the whole game only to enter the Sealed Area and discover that it was actually the final dungeon theme filled me with levels of excitement I never would've expected. It's easily become my favourite music track in the entire game for me.
If there's one thing that Falcom JDK are masters of it's Final Dungeon themes, which is weirdly rare in my experience. But each final dungeon theme of the mainline games I've played (god damn crossbell arc) have been one of the mainstay tracks for me. Hollow Light of the Sealed Land, Floating City Liber Ark, Phantasmogoria, Phantasmal Blaze etc etc. all A+ tracks
It's a lot more than 5, as it's all over the place. Off the top of my head, it's in... FC - Trails in the Sky (obviously), Tetracyclic Tower, The Black Orbment, Royal Castle, this, Ancient Makes, Those Who Protect the Greatest Treasure SC - The Fate of the Faeries, The Hidden True Form, Unleashed Greatest Treasure, In the Favor of the Goddess, Floating City Liber Ark, Aiming for the Future, Central Tower "Axis Pillar", Outskirts of Evolution, Merciless Savior, and Back to Our Friends
bruh you never played through YHVH's Universe. This thing was a hellish nightmare. Music sucked, the design gave vertigo, it had one-sided doors, way too large rooms, doors with stat requirements, teleporters everywhere, re-used bosses, and was confusing. SMT4:A was a good game, but I never want to go through that again
I started playing this game a bit ago and left it after i rescued the farm not too long ago but recently I picked it up again and now im in this dungeon, ill update this comment once I had beaten the game.
Dane Brown You absolutely need to play the last one. It may be different in style but it wraps up the trails in the sky arc and man does it setup for Crossbell arc for Joshua, Estelle and Renne. It literally sets the basis of the whole conflict of Trails of cold steel in one of the doors too. The journey of Kevin and Ries was also a lot more serious and heartbreaking. Kevin is really different from the 2nd game as compared to the third as well and Falcom has constantly acknowledged them as one of the main characters of the series as well despite having one game. Now with Sen No Kiseki III out and someone in there (No spoilers here. :)) is actually Kevin's colleague so yeah. He most likely will appear again,
Dane Brown Hope you love it! I spent the most amount of time on this game as compared to Trails in the Sky 1st and 2nd even. Trails 2nd I spent 80 hours ish. Trails Third I'm on 110 +. Probably gonna go replay the whole series again. :). I'm now waiting for trails of cold steel II for PC as I've finished trails of cold steel I.
Honestly, after beating all 3 I think I enjoyed The Third the most, but the good parts of Third are definitely in the latter half of the game. Like ch 6 onwards is where The Third really jumped up to being my favorite of the trilogy. Though to get full enjoyment you definitely need to do all the doors.
Considering FC and SC were the only trails game as far as I'm aware that was meant to be one whole massive game originally, it really makes you wonder if this was meant to be for Liber Ark but was repurposed when the game got split into two. The title of the song frankly doesn't make sense as a description of the final dungeon of FC when compared to other final dungeon themes in the series, and I could just as easily see this playing in Liber Ark as what they did end up going with as both sides scramble up Liber Ark to get to the Aureole first.
It's a good OST, but I hate this song, as much as Overdosing Heavenly bliss in 3rd, because I listened it for way too long...... I hate it, I was stuck in the final dungeon for 5 months, back in 2008. 10 years later, I still have not started to appreciate it again....
Favorite song from Sky FC and still, to this day, one of my favorite Final Dungeons themes.
even matched with spiral of erebos
1:46 I wish I could relive hearing this part for the first time lol, was absolutely blown away

"An Erebonian army has started to gather behind Haken Gate!"
Chills man, chills
It's been a while since I played FC, but I think you're mistaken. This song is for the final dungeon of FC, while your quote is from late into SC.

Ready to get hit with this once again when the remake releases next year. My favorite jrpg final dungeon theme.
Too bad that it's a switch exclusive.

One of the greatest songs in gaming soundtracks. EVER!

When 1:46 hits... wow. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful.
Holy moly this is good
I love that this is a waltz. It reminds me a bit of Last Exile's ballet fight.
while this is from a final dungeon, i can for sure imagine this as final boss theme
The Merciless Savior is surprinsingly similar to this in some parts.
Well they both use the Sora no Kiseki motif, as do the Final Boss of FC and the Final Dungeons of SC.

Just finished the game today, this dungeon was really big, so many times I got lost hahaha

Technically the last chapter of sc is not a dungeon but a city
