- Glendale Police conducted a traffic stop on Silver Spring Drive near Interstate 43 in Glendale, Wisconsin on Saturday, January 1, 2022. The driver allegedly lied about his name and fled from officers when asked to step out of the vehicle. The pursuit ended in Milwaukee with three subjects fleeing on foot after crashing into a pole. They should place a spike strip in front of the tires when they have them pulled over...a flat tire out of the gates would make the pursuit much shorter and slower.

Your are right but that why the cops that I work with we had a cop hide in the woods from a stolen car and the cop ran out put the stripes down when he pass. It was a stolen 2016 Dodg charger Hellcat it was crazy.

When the cop walks up to the car, he should put a U-shaped Spike Strip around the back tire(s) so the driver can't back up or pull forward without damage. Then you alert the driver and if he takes off, he knows he won't get far.
We didn't get to see Brix in action!

My point is,the other cop,secondary, should be radio to dispatch, not the lead,or primary car. That vehicle just has way too much other things going on. I can see this is probably going to end badly
This officer sucks at chasing. He don’t want to catch this dude. It must be close to shift change.
The only reason he got the car was because the car spun out, it had nothing to do with the cop who was chasing.

Every time I watch a police chase vid and it’s a K-9 unit, the dogs name is always “bricks”. Why is that?
I'm not liking it when you can't show the whole incident. The dog barking and we didn't see him/her get out and catch the bad guys. So no like unless you show the whole thing.

This baffles me every time..you get pulled over for a violation and seem salty. Then you can't even simply keep your license on you... speak up and talk straight so the officer can understand you for god sake.

They leave their hand print on rear so if anything happens the officer's print is there . All officers are trained this way.

Shoulda coulda woulda but they should have had him shut the vehicle off and maybe had him step out with the other officer while checking his identification I know it was cold out.
Too bad the trooper was not closer when they exited the Nissan. Rex would have loved to gotten out of the car, chase them down, and taken a bite out of crime.

In ALL of these videos I am SHOCKED that the officers don't order the driver to put the car in park and turn the engine off. What the heck is wrong with them? No sense whatsoever. No Spidy sense.

@@transientcylon He could still order them to put it in park. And anyway, the time it takes to write a ticket isn't that long to wait in the cold. And besides, the car still retains residual heat and protection from any wind.

That officer was killing it on the call outs and the driving. Could have a bit more careful at intersections but that's the backseat driver in me. He was in the moment and saw what we couldn't from dash cam.
Overall, I'd say job well done by this man on callouts and being able to keep a decent tail on em

I've been there before. I've called the driver over my PA to come back to my cruiser and sign his ticket, or approached with citation book in hand, placed on his hood, and asked to step out and sign. Worked many times. Other times left me in my car when he took off, better reaction time.

Yes, by busting the taillight there's almost no way they could get it confused with another vehicle if they were to loose them in the pursuit
