I think he just uses recycle ceral boxes and thicker packing boxes which you can. Pick up from supermarketsfoil, glue gun ordinary children's glue stick ,white glue and water for the paper mache, and by the looks of it children's poster paint and I personally would give it a spray of clear varnish. Just every day simple items you can find in your local $2 shop. Good luck with it, have a great day
