Is a co2 scrubber really worth it? Does it really work? Well if you are convinced as I am go get your media right here: www.aquamarineaquaristic.com....
8.47 is plausible. But if that isn't backing up on other devices do the following: Soak ph probe in isopropyl alcohol, do not clean off with towel, paper or tooth brush simply blow it off with some ro water. Then place probe into ph 4.0 and soak probe for 30-1hr then calibrate. Place probe in PH 7.0 and soak probe for 30 mins in this time click check accuracy every 5 minutes if until number stops changing, you will find 9\10 times you won't even need to calibrate 7 only 4. If calibration is no more then .05 out then no need for calibration. Using this careful method it's been flawless.
I have one too but it’s so costly to run. I think I’d go through about 5L of media, $70, in about 1-2 months, so about $500 or so each year!! Any tips to help reduce the cost??
Good stuff 👏🏻 👍🏻 👌🏻
Thanks mate
Good stuff bro, I use same media mine sits at 8.54
I was shocked at the drop when mine was removed.
@@NRKA yeah mine the same
It is pelletised kalkwasser powder Ca(OH)2
Not sure but the media is soda lime
How are you getting on with the ph reeffactory meter? I'm struggling with recalibration saying my Reef is 8.27 at night during the day at 8.47

How often you exchange the media, weekly? So expensive ph increasing 😮
I do mine every 2 months

recirculate the air coming out of the skimmer through the media with a water trap in between.
I'd like to see this haha
