Noob Goatbot is a lot less edgy in the Mk compared to others. I think that is in part due to his voice, MK11 sounded to forced, while this one sounds much more fitting.
It's crazy that he's voiced by Gojo's VA
I'm willing to bet that has something to do with keeping voice actors.
His voice sounds less edge and forced because its the same actor voicing the same character.
I.E. Sub-Zero's voice actor also voicing Noob Saibot, therefor maintaining the development and personality of the character.
Maybe cause they weren't trying to go with "edgy" with the older versions in the first place. Noob Saibot in the older versions was just like Scorpion (a resurrected fighter/hellspawn)
I feel like this MK1 version of Sub Zero/Noob is wayyyy more trying to be "edgy" and cool

@@user-zl2ec I disagree, the voice made Noob Saibot, absurdly edgy. This one, while sharing the same darkness theme, is actually much less edgy for me. Another thing is his dialogue is just much better than in mk11. He feels less forced and more natural.

Mk1 Sub already sounded edgy-ish so them keeping him to voice Noob was a great choice

I honestly didn’t like that they made Sub-Zeros voice so “edgy” but I feel like since they were planning on make him to Noob Saibot, it transferred perfectly. Also I’m upset they made Sub-Zero into Villain/ Tyrant. OG Bi-Han was an asshole but he wasn’t a bad guy. He follow the orders of his grand master and did what was best for his clan. Basically he had the personality of Sector, but the character/mind set of Cyrax from this game
i love how people’s main complaints are Cyrax and Sektors gender…god i fucking how bitchy the gaming community is but stuff like this i love

Noob was the only cool thing to come from this DLC so far. And even then they ruined his origin. He never died this time. Just altered and changed while still alive, which broke him mentally. So dumb.
It's almost like this is a new timeline with different origins and beginnings......

@@phantasosxgames8488 I mean the tournament from 1992 where MK9 was set in. In MK1 it felt like there was nothing at stake, in MK9 you felt the world on your shoulders. Because in a way, it was. One more loss, amd it's over, but here it's just "Eh, if we lose well get them next time."
@@kylesinkovich8332 because that is the point , Liu Kang made a "New Era" that was roughly more pacific than the previous one , than Titan Shang Tsung awakened previous villains and things got wacky.
It is a tournament that had no stakes for both sides...until suddenly things got out of control and NOW have stakes and they had to deal with it.

@BotAccountLuna really because at least it has a straight forward story I gave MK1 a chance but the story is just overall confusing. Look at the stupid DLC story it's just creating more confusion
And sure some changes like Smoke and Milieena being great characters but the fact thay Bi Han is Noob again then you got the gender swap Sektor and Cyrax which is just ruining the characters. NRS is not good in story telling their just ripping off things from CW and the MCU
