Really nice tutorial and music !! Im making sorta of the same style of music, and seeing other people workflow and techniques is very enlightning Thanks for everything and keep making music, you rockl :)) cheers from Brasil !
Thank you so much! This is nice to hear. I sometimes think that I'd be the only one to like it haha Glad you're enjoying them and finding inspiration. It makes me happy knowing this. cheers from California!
That comment about creating a melody on key-off reminded me I've been wanting to make a little video about a patch I made recently. In it, the aftertouch is assigned to filter cutoff in such a way that it basically just moves the harmonic-latching up and down. If I'm really careful with the pressure, I can play a chord and then outline a little melody made from fifths and fourths and thirds on top. (But it also can make, just, a really gnarly bass if overdriven and played in unison.)
That sounds cool! I take it you are using a lot of resonance to change pitch with the aftertouch sensitivity? I look forward to seeing it. The patch in this video way took a different turn haha. I liked how it came out.
@@ModIcore yeah! I was reading/listening stuff about gain-staging, then decided to try similarly “over modulating” things on my panel. IE both maxing out the knob and then adding even more with a mod wheel or the affertouch :3
