Today we embarked on a massive Marrakesh street food tour, starting our day trying some local street foods like the popular Marrakech food of potato egg khobz sandwich, sweet sfenj on a string, tasty local Marrakech pastries, and a street food macaron from a local vendor peddling his delicious cookies.
With some of the best street food in Morocco here in Marrakesh, we had the biggest day exploring the street food scene and tasting some of the flavourful and unique eats of the city. The Moroccan street food in Marrakech is unlike any other!
We had the pleasure of visiting ViaVia Marrakech, an amazing restaurant that does the biggest tagine we’ve had in Morocco! This tagine, dubbed ‘tasty trip’ by its owner, is the biggest tagine in Morocco for us. Incredibly flavourful, we started off our meal with their signature briouats.
We finished off our Marrakesh food tour trying some of the best Moroccan street food in Marrakech, tasting a lemon cream pastilla. This modern take is a must try food to eat in Morocco.
We hope you enjoy this Marrakesh food tour, showing you the biggest tagine we’ve had in Morocco, with the tasty sweets of sfenj and pastilla. We had such a great time experiencing the Moroccan street food in Marrakech. Stay tuned for more food adventures next week, this time in a new country!

Hey everyone!
This is the last edition of our Morocco Food Tour. Which country should we visit next?
Thanks for watching! 🧡😊
Bonjour,
Merci pour vos belles vidéos, vous pourriez aller découvrir l'Égypte , la nourriture de rue est délicieuse !
@@ommy3457 Great suggestion!
You guys should visit South Korea and Indonesia ❤️
Tahiti, French Polynesia, South Pacific generally that area. OR Mauritius, Seychelles.
@@AbroadandHungry Sorry we missed your reply! Yes!!! Amazing suggestions and very high on our list. We hear there are some incredible people in Indonesia 😉
Great episode guys! That millefeuille and massive tagine made us so hungry. We loved how nice and welcoming Moroccan people were to you guys. Thank you so much for sharing your food adventures with us. Can’t wait for your next destination 🙏🏻❤️
Thank you so much for the support guys. Morocco was another experience entirely, we can't wait to go back again someday 😊 that tagine was definitely one of the best!
I love Moroccan tagine 🇲🇦❤️
😍
5:54 It costs only 1 dirham. I don't know why some Moroccans when they see foreigners increase the price even though Islam tells us not to increase the price for foreigners. Islam forbids the exploitation of foreigners who don't know the price. This kind of person doesn't represent Moroccans and Islam.. 😠 You should ask about prices in general for Moroccans you are welcome my brother ❤️🇲🇦
Thanks for watching, Damassi. Yes, it's unfortunate that some people take advantage, especially in the more touristy cities like Marrakech it seems to be quite common.
Best vlog , welcome to morocco any time 🇲🇦🇲🇦❤️❤️
Thanks so much Youssef! 😉
Loved the Marrakech video, guys! The city and its architecture is really beautiful! The sfenji on a string and all the delicious pastries are so mouthwatering. It is so interesting to actually watch the lovely, fresh food being prepared. Well done, Chris, with the briouats!! Please send one of those pastillas home to Canada!
Haha he definitely tried his best, and didn't do too bad of I may say so myself😉 thanks so much for watching! We had a really great day exploring the city and trying some tasty foods ;) we'll see how much it costs to send back to Canada 😃😉😉
Wow. A variety of local foods in this video captivate my attention and make me really hungry. Thanks for sharing.😀👍👍
Thanks so much for watching! 😊
@@HungryTwoTravel You are welcome.🙏🙌🙌🙏
Very nice vidéo, tnx a lot
Thanks so much for watching 😊
i'm moroccan , one sfenj is only 2 dirhams not 5 dirhams , be carreful , there is a lot of scammers on marrakech and other moroccan cities , be carreful
Hi Taha. Really? That's a shame. Yes unfortunately we've found there are a few people that take advantage of foreigners in the more touristy cities.
yep 2Dh but maybe with honey 3Dh but not 5Dh
@@HungryTwoTravel yes unfortunately , 100 % scammers , in my city it was just one dirham 50 cents ,before the war, but now it's 2 dirhams .
I agree with u taha
😅
Nice video ♥♥
Thanks so much for watching😊
👍 That looked good and I'm curious about your new video. Greetings from The Netherlands 😘🤩👋
Hey Richard!! Everything was really tasty 😉 thanks so much for watching and commenting, yes new country coming up soon!!
A great video
Thanks for watching, James!
Dishes coming from heaven 😊 Enjoy the reel life in Moroccan way🎉😂❤
Thanks so much!
I have watched many videos on street food but yours is the best for many reasons.
1. You include the whole gamut of snacks and meals in each video.
2. You show the whole cooking process and identify the various ingredients.
3. You explain the taste, smell and the spiciness in words that those watching the video can virtually taste the dish.
4. In the descripting you provide a lot of details that help when you are in a hurry trying to find information without going through the whole video.
5. You identify the shop/restaurant and you use 'what3word' for the address which is the only way to find that particular shop or restaurant, especially in narrow Medinas.
6. You always show the price you paid.
I shall be visiting Morocco in a few weeks and your videos have helped me plan my Food Tour using 'what3word' as my guide.
Thank you for taking the time from your busy schedule to help us future travellers.
Hey Maurice, wow thank you so much for your wonderful comment.🧡 We're so glad that our videos have been informative and useful to you, especially in planning your upcoming trip to Morocco 😊 we find what3words is such a useful tool when there is no Google option for many street food locations out there, so happy you've been able to plan using this too.
All the best to you and let us know how your trip goes!! 😊 Thanks again for watching and for your support ☺️

Bienvenue au Maroc 🇲🇦👍
Thank you so much!

😊😊😊
Wolcome to morocoo ❤🥰

WOW Prices are so much, that coconut cookie is just 1Dh=0.1$ as for the "Sfenj" it's 0.5$ for half a kilo
That's unfortunate to hear! Prices definitely seemed inflated in Marrakech.
السلام عليكم فين جات هذه البلاسا وشكرا
Thank you so much for watching😊
Love your videos in Morocco ! Question , when was this filmed ? In 2023?
Yes
Thanks so much for watching! Yes it was :)
Whenever i visit morocco, on my way back to the Us, i go back with 10 kilos extra in my body 😅
🤣🤣 completely fair!! Thanks for watching, Anass
@@HungryTwoTravel thank you for providing this beautiful content, and for the offort you put in your videos 🫡
@@wx5z Thanks a lot Anass, that means a lot🧡
Greetings..
Street food in Morocco is incredible, but you have to be very careful with sauces and salads where we see that their preservation in refrigerators is optimal.
Some diarrhea can end the holidays in a matter of minutes.
This is very true! It's always good to be careful and eat at busy places. The food is delish though we have to agree😉 thanks for watching and commenting!
morrocco the place to be represent casablanca you are welcome
Thank you so much
👌BNIN
😋🤤
That tajin is not big for me because my family of 4 always cooks in it, if more than 2 people are going to eat it is better to use the big one

Sfenj and the cookie is 1 or 2 Dh 😓😓😓, they are scammers we are sorry
Thanks for your comment. Yes, unfortunately you come across this in the larger cities... It's a shame but not uncommon we're sure.
Miaaaaaaaaaaaaaam . 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
😉😉😋
I you wanna have a better experience you should eat the tajine with the bread not with the fork😊
The coconut cookie thing costs only 1 dirham, shame on that guy
That's a shame to hear, but unfortunately happens.
@@HungryTwoTravel Yeah but no worries, the positive experience as a whole being there is what counts 👍
@@DaggerZ555 We completely agree. These things are bound to happen when travelling to different countries, and we aren't too shocked when they do. We don't let it overshadow all the good the we experience, since these unfortunate experiences only represent a small portion of things. Thanks a lot for watching and for your comment, DaggerZ😊

9:57 just 1 dirham not five!!! and sfenj too is 1 dirham, هاد الناس مكيحشموش
Oh really?? That's a shame. Unfortunately that's not the first time we've been overcharged in Marrakech for being foreigners🙁

We're not sure either! It's unfortunate.
At 7::09 you guys paid 5dhs for "chfeng" , I just want to say something as a moroccan, that is so bad, why locals take advantage of tourists, this is so bad!, it costs only 1dh, I'm really shocked and mad, this is so freaking bad, I feel sorry guys.
Thanks a lot for your message. That's a shame! Yea, it's unfortunate but we found a few people took advantage of foreigners in the more touristy cities.
