This is a masterpiece! Everybody killed their roles, storyline was lit, content was real and to cap it all, it addresses some pertinent issues in our society. Thank you guys! couples need to talk more, communicate more and have everyone understand set boundaries.
I no longer watch these on phone. I watch them on my big TV. i want to see the cinematographic tricks. i want to see the angles and cuts. i want to see the 180-degree rule live in action. i want to experience the energy. these edits are mad! they are crazy. you pause to go get something at any moment and everything is still perfectly in frame. this is wonderful. editor, you're doing well. cinematography, you're doing well.
This is a good piece, and I advise everyone getting married to watch and learn. Secrecy, unnecessary pressure, not seeing your partner and yourself as a team that needs to defend together, collectively dictate the pace and be supportive of each other are factors that overcomplicate simple things, destabilize the pillars that hold a home and ruin marriages. My partner can buy mount Everest but not telling me would definitely ruin TRUST upon which our relationship/marriage was built.
As a Nigerian woman that lives in Nigerian, Telling your husband your possessions can be disastrous, we have seen cases where the woman got killed for.bwing being richer than the husband. She must have known the kind of husband that she married to keep it a secret. PS: Nigerian women don't like to spend their own money, including me. 😂 😂 😂
This episode is so real... I have heard and even know of spouses doing things in secret and it usually does not end well. It is not the house or the property. It is the silence, secrecy, and mystery that hurts I guess. If you love me, why keep all these from me?
And they part where they watch their partners go through this pressure, instead easing the burden. Women do this alot, all in the name of "the man is the head of the family", which is why man die early.
This is two way thing. You could open up and not get the right support needed. Some opening up could bring issues especially with an highly egocentric man. It’s only God that will give someone wisdom in this marriage thingie.
This was a beautiful piece and very well delivered. But I want to take a few minutes to appreciate the talent of Chris. He delivered here as always. I have seen him play a typical Ibo man and the accent and delivery was 100% (Phone Swap). And here as well, he just played a typical Yoruba man and the accent and delivery 100%. I think Nollywood should appreciate this man more with bigger roles. He is more talented than some of the people I see in certain roles. Well done Edem Victor for all the good work.
Loving this. It is very educative and correctional for the familyhood. Love your comportment and therapist role, Modola. Appreciate EV and the Crew. Good work!
Please, where do this kind wives put their money? Like what do they do with it ? 😃 The younger ones are the "my money is my money, your money is our money" 🤣🤣
Wow really touching and great act by everyone. Really depicts how somehow we should relate with our wives. But sincerely, was she expecting him to act differently after all this
Weldone once again EV........ And uncle Chris and all did good... These issues are hidden cracks in marriages. Some are worth the deceit, while others,it just breaks their hearts
The twins resemble him from the scan very funny. This a wonderful storyline that happens in our society on a regular basis which sometimes people tend to ignore such situations which leads to heartbreak, mistrust and immoral. For what is what let's have that little bit of trust in each. Don't let us be selfish.
She was wrong. But divorce because of that?? Maybe he was never really interested/committed to the relationship. She made wrong financial decisions because of her expectations of her husband's roles in financing. She wants the marriage and she's willing to put effort. A simple don't do that again will do, What's cheating and divorce doing in the picture??? He just doesn't love the woman. Lesson learnt. Don't keep secrets but more importantly, Marry who loves you.
This is real. I just learned something. It is not enough to solve a problem. The person concerned must also know the problem has been solved one way or the other. There must be some sort of communication. Who says we ain’t going nowhere as a nation? Congratulations !
The story line is very true. This happens a lot in Nigeria. Some women are just wicked, shout out to those who pickup responsibilities to help the family move forward.
Wow! This is very deep and I can relate. First, I will like to mention that this could and often happen the other way around (not a woman/man thing - humans are just evil by nature sometimes). Now let's talk about women lol. Over 10 years ago when we were doing our masters in uni, many people always borrowed money from the women (some were married). A guy once said, "Oh! I need £5,000. I will see if my wife can loan it to me. I recently found out she had £20,000 sitting in her savings." Women can collect, no be small.
As for the buying land in secret…. Some people do this because of fear and lack of trust. If your spouse knows you have a property, they want to use it or get rid of it in one excuse or another… or they will stop paying rent if they know you own the house… what is marriage without trust? What is marriage with so much secrets? The kids are brother theirs… so how is it a bad thing to pay their school fees? Then hide it? Hmmm… there is two Sid’s to this, I could go on and on… as for the last shocker… it is over 😮
Big lie even the song called religious leaders do worst shit to their wives at home wives will come out to give shitty advices to other women marriage is this marriage is that only those that believe their shit those are the ones they fool as for me happily single I don't need a shitty ring nor a man"s name to leave my life hypocrisy rules the world with crowns saying this from diff experiences
Pls give us part 2 plsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss I will like like to know what the therapist advise would now be honestly
Core truth is that, every woman should endeavour to not only know their husbands, but also UNDERSTAND their husbands, because........ ....... understanding enables prediction of posibility outcomes, and prediction enables accordance practices, which in the long run enable avoidance of catastrophy of the type we have just watched.
This is a real life thing oo As a private school headteacher have experienced more of this, where mothers will have paid and will pressure the school to call thier father for payment. The scene no be here oo
A man is almost dead/ mad with anxiety, and the question comes, "why the Secretary?" LOL Yes oo, why the Secretary? Why not the Akara seller down the road? LOL .......
This attitude has been on the rise, and I always wonder, do we really blame the women for building personal wealth, or are we laming them for hiding their successes from their husbands? If the house wasn't hers, would he be offended to pay rent? And having achieved so much, why pressure your husband, and siphoning him in that manner? Once again, we are faced with a failed marriage due to lack of trust and understanding on both parties.

Chris Is very fluent in Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba... A great actor btw
I came here to watch because of him actually. Love him and watch anything he's in.
MY PARENTS ARE CURRENTLY PASSING THROUGH A HARD PHASE IN THEIR MARRIAGE, I AM PRAYING TO GOD DAILY THAT THEY SHOULD NOT DIVORCE
Amen 🙏, God won't let it happen because he first instituted marriage on Earth.
God will heal their home in Jesus' name
God will heal their marriage in Jesus Name
Amen
God will intervene in Jesus Mighty name Amen
May God do what is best for them.
Can't stop laughing because of this line; "I've borrowed myself brain, current account type"
Mr Victor.... This one is good.... This one is deep..... My question is why..... Why build a house on the foundation of deception.... Why.... Why
