This just confirms it, Mike is an actual druid. Making fantastical weapons in the woods, raising and commanding birds of the forest. All signs point to druid.
Mike. You're going to be the blacksmith character in any further rpgs I run. Dwarven Blacksmith lives out in the woods, wants to make oversized weapons and complains at making a normal sized weapon that isn't weird looking, and has birds fly out of the surrounding forest to hang out with him. Also is vegetarian and will be seen eating beans and cheese on toast.
can you add an orcish berserker whos named skullcrusher i dont know why i just want the world to know my skyrim character it aint like he maters. i just feel like the world should see him as i have played over 10,000 as him
You should feed the birds some mega protein worms so they can grow big enough to carry you away to grand adventures and still have time to bring you back for lunch. Take the kids to school, deliver packages for amazon, etc.
I have to say, I love seeing the level of ingenuity and meticulousness you put into your work. Also the birds were a great way to show how long the process takes.
*Part of me wants you to have proper tools, because I can only imagine the badassery you'd come up... BUT... There's definitely a part of me that enjoys seeing the mad scientist type shtuff that is wonky and slightly dangerous as well.*
I think thats a large part of why people love him. He comes up with some very interesting ways to make things work. Not a lot of youtubers can entertain people as well as Mike for 1+ hours
This video felt like a whole adventure. we've seen birds growing from babies to adults who're leaving their nests to start their own family. Thank you for the closure at the end of the video. Amazing work as always! Always a pleasure to watch you do this work!
This man is a dangerous hypnotiser, a druid and a wizard! Each time i watch one of his video (always around 1 hour long) i watched it up to the very end, and that on youtube is quite unique! You are captivating! Thanks a lot Michael to share your video with us, you are my favorite channel (BTW the bird story is awesome)
Vertical arc welding can be tricky, just about impossible with the wrong rods. Overhead arc welding is also a skill learned through much frustration. Through the learning of these skills many welders have learned the skill of drinking hard liquor as well. 😄
There was a video a while back where I just kept thinking "man, this guy needs a TIG welder so badly!", and a few videos later you got one! Now I can't help but think that a lathe would make your life sooo much better!
Im surprised you haven't purchased a lathe for your work, it would save you time and sanding/grinding discs. Your swords are a work of art. A true craftsman. Im glad your passing on your skills to someone else, your a dying breed. Love your work.
I think this is probably your second "so big it's silly" sword you've made. Number one being that axe you had to litteraly hoist with a rope over a tree. Well done.
If you want to raise a fascinating bird, try raising a duck. It's frustrating work, but the countless hilarious times that duck would amuse you would probably be worth the time and effort.
people i know on a smallholding had a duck called quackers who had brain damage from a mink attack, top of his skull was hanging off and they literally fixed it with Duck Tape, afterwards he was mostly fine and lived a long life, but developed a strange rubber fetish and often tried to mount and (sometimes successfully) inseminate Wellington boots.
Ducks, Mallards in particular, have a wide variety of hilarious personalities. As, cleaning up from a... overly sexualized duck may not be the best, nor hilarious duck to own, there are other stories that can almost make it worth it. I knew one with a brain injury because his head hit a nail just right. He was absolutely retarded, and all the stuff he would do was hilarious. He could never get his balance right some times, and he was ultimately confused with water. He just didn't understand it. It was the weirdest thing.
that thing about a lot of viewers not being subscribed just goes to show you how awesome you are at your artform people catch a glimpse and cant look away

By far one of your best videos Mike!!! I've been watching your progress on patreon and have been itching to see the build video. Thanks for all you do. you inspire me and i'm sure tons more. Keep it up!!! You're awesome!
Whenever i watch one of his videos, i always wonder how much the fine metal dust in his shop and in front of it would weigh if ever collected. It must be around a ton already.
We need a "Cleaning the Shop" episode, my OCD goes fucking nuts every time I watch one of these lol. Anyway good job as usual Mike, keep up the good work!
This was such an amazing build. The quality of your work, especially the care in the details is amazing. Im glad I found your channel. Best of luck on your race to 1 Million Subscribers, you got mine!!
I used to work at a wild animal rescue once upon a time. If you plan to raise them for reintroduction to the wild, try dressing up a tweesers as BirdMom and use that to feed the babies. For reintroduction, you want as little human contact as possible. The tweesers will also let you get the wormpaste right into their throat easier, so less dropping. Good luck!
Michael Ctulhu, sword maker, beard sporter and now friend of Worzel Gummidge and his bird loving maker. Best episode ever, not only did I know the sword and the game it's from, the birdlettes made it even better. Loved it.

Think this was one of my favourite swords so far, congratulations on getting her all done, the gate parts really did turn out fantastically, but my god what a crazy heavy sword one day I will have enough money to request a build, one day...
You making these insane toys is pretty impressive and they are toys because there is no way this could this be used normally. That said, you keeping the bird alive is what’s truly impressive because that skill is extremely rare. I’ve lost my share of little critters and birds die the easiest.
The "Bob Ross" of the sword world. Little animals and happy little welds! Thanks for the show. Awesome as always. - jj
and in some cases he has to beat the devil out of those blades

Or he’s just a crazy person.
i'm thinking a little of both you know he is at least part druid with a lightly dipped crazy coating and the end result is pure bad-assery

Unfortunately for you I'm talking about tabletop. At max 15 more people would know of an orc named skullcrusher.
I'm just picturing birds roosting in his beard and hair, poking their heads out for worms and mosquitoes.
Came for the sword, stayed for the birds.
Me too
I can't help but adore the Bird B-Plot.
im a momma bird now XD
you're not a real fan, im still here with the birds, two years later. :D
@@cbearslife4950 dude that was 3 years ago…
You know what I'd like to see? Michael and Adam Savage collaborating, whether in person or over a distance, on something for Adam's cave/collection :)
I think they would get on really well.

Or plants, as that is where ALL protein comes from. And it is healthier protein... and animals don't have to die.
I have to say, I love seeing the level of ingenuity and meticulousness you put into your work. Also the birds were a great way to show how long the process takes.
so now were all waiting for the mlchaelchthulhu t shirt symbol that looks the same but with a small bird perched on its head...

Come on sponsors ! SOMEONE get this man a lathe !
i know i wish i was not a poor SOB i would so get this man one
It’s not just about being able to afford it. He’s said multiple times he has nowhere to put it. Don’t give him something when he has no room.
Poverty lathe is the best lathe.
Ok so get him a lathe and a shed for the lathe
Mary Udomah We just need to sneak in one night and build him an add-on shed to house it.
Him picking up the bird followed up by him picking up the plasmacutter had me concerned for a second.
What do you think the sword is for? That bird is far too powerful...
I see now, you're right!
I had that feeling too! Had me laughing.
I see what you mean. But your profile picture is a bit more concerning to me
