Based on what you were saying about leaderboards, I'm surprised you don't play Trackmania. Even though it has its sweats with tens of years playing, there are still tons of opportunities to hit world record for tracks and even winning lower divisions of Cup of The Day.
Leaderboard Challenges :D I love chasing times but it's much more fun to watch someone else deal with the frustration of making mistakes on otherwise fantastic runs ;) It's really enjoyable to see your progress as you play, starting with the big chunks at first but then the slight chipping away at the gap plus watching you learning how to take better lines through the corners is so satisfying. Now I'm really looking forward to Episode 2 and hopefully you managed to climb even higher in that one :) Also on a sidenote this style of Leaderboard Events and Tiers remind me a lot of the ones in Project Cars 3, one of the few things that game did really well imo.
If this became a series, like, one week with different games that you'd never played before, I'd be so into it. Super entertaining and a great way to shine a light on some of the excellent indies!
Nah, those regulars you see at the top of the leaderboards will still reign supreme. They ARE the tryhards, the ones who never fully put this game down. Our little community is great though, especially the Original Fire Games Discord - we welcome more tryhards! It also would be nice to be able to run full 12-player lobbies more often, so I hope some of you watching Hoki give this a try decide to pick the game up! We love new names in the online queue
@rlas it's very very niche, there are just a small core group of players still racing with each other and doing TTs every week, most of us hang and chat in the official Discord for OFG. I just meant none of you watching this are going to buy the game and be faster than Timmerz or BottleofScotch in short time, especially not over 18 laps or whatever.
@@Babybarschalarm it'll be a bit less niche when their new iRacing Arcade game comes out! (Partnership was just announced recently between OFG and iRacing)
I love circuit superstars. It does take me a while to adjust though so i think that discourages me from coming back as often as i would. The ai in this game is genuinely some of the best I've ever raced.
Fun video idea! I like longer videos personally, but 35 minutes might be too long for this sorta thing. If you want a greater challenge next time, tell your community the game and week in advance
What was the very first game shown in the intro. See that one keeps the camera relatively behind the car where Circuit Superstars does not. I prefer the former.
Didja check your fps settings? I bought it last night and the default setting is 30. Could be nothing, I gained ³/¹⁰ of a sec after adjusting to my screens max.
The leader boards for Forza are nothing but cheaters. It's sad that somehow cheating gives some people a feeling of accomplishment! And of course playground games does nothing about it, despite people asking them to for years. I'd love to see where I'd really stack up.

This came up on my recommendations on RUclips been looking for a game like this for ages with raw racing over 4k graphics etc. Pumped to try it out.
I love circuit superstars. It does take me a while to adjust though so i think that discourages me from coming back as often as i would. The ai in this game is genuinely some of the best I've ever raced.
Btw if you wanna have the most fun with this game try and do some endurance races.
Would be a cool series to go to random racing games and hunt for top 10 leaderboards.
@HokiHoshi You should try out Turbo Sliders Unlimited. Apart from all the other modes it has, that top-down racer is a hotlapping paradise.

You could try Roblox comp games and try see if the horizon players could beat them
