ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.
The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.
This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.
Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

I hope he does win. But damn near every year, whenever we get to this point of the season, they seem to only keep the country singers (aka) white guy with a guitar, and they send artists like Mac home no matter how well they perform or deserving they are. I'm all for a country artist winning if they're the best, but the fact that it happens every year. Not just the Voice, but American Idol as well. Hell, they may be worse. I'm just tired of seeing the best competitors leave, while people that are average and sometimes below average always make the cut. 🙄
I am an R&B music lover and a white girl from Oklahoma, and I totally agree with your comment. Everyone that voted for Azan or Kara PLEASE VOTE MAC!! We need a stronger R&B fan base (or less racist voters) because MAC is the BEST and DESERVES to WIN!!!

This was a stellar performance by Mac. If one actually thinks about a talented musical artist every song they sing may not be someones personal favorite, but the talent still shines through and can't be denied. I hope he wins and gets a record deal ...two things can exist at the same time. He can be the one artist to break out of the win mode and still become a huge star even if past winners have been forgotten. This will not be the story for Mac Royals.

I really do hope he moves out of the voice and gets himself into studio as soon as possible because that's a different ball game to singing covers at the voice.
