Japanese fashion company Uniqlo looks to defeat fast fashion

Japanese fashion company Uniqlo has become a staple in urban millennial wardrobes. As young Americans face a competitive job market and a mountain of student debt, Uniqlo has become the favorable alternative to expensive brand clothing. Gillian B. I have 26 clothes from Uniqlo, and I can really say their clothes weren't made to be disposable, I can really tell they're made to be worn all the time without falling apart after a few washes.

Uniqlo isn’t aiming to be ‘cool’. It is literally making cloth for everyone in every sizes, colour and material. Uniqlo is not fashion, it is necessity.

I first discovered Uniqlo while on a trip in London over a yr ago. I stepped inside the store and instantly fell in love. The style of the apparel is similar to H&M but better quality IMO.

They’re not bad clothes for the price tbh.
And they have a different fit than say H&M/Old Navy/Gap which works for some people. Thats the most important thing.
Finally, cheap clothes are ‘expensive’

H&M has better styles and fit but has bad quality, Zara has good style and quality but it's more of a premium fast fashion so it's more expensive, Uniqlo has good quality and lots of variety of basics but I find the style isn't as stylish and modern as h&m or zara
