man this was and still is one of the most stacked tournaments ever.literally everybody is there,east west you name it.probably at least 50 total elites in across all weight classes,like elite elite,not just high level.ridiculous...
Agree, very rare tournament tbh, even pullers who no longer competed any where else than PAL like Babayev also there, and tons of lightweight world champion, Daniel, Cherkasov, Mindaugas, Bozhidar, Irakli... higher weight classes like Plamen,Yordan Tsonev, Hutchings, etc... even Justin Bishop also there. If not for this tournament, we might never watch Todd Hutchings vs Sasho, or Sasho vs Babayev.... it's just in tournament setting some may not fresh but it's awesome nevertheless.
I think having an attractive woman as main referee is great in the sense that majority of male competitors will be more willing to listen and follow her guide. Makes for a more even set up.. especially in comparison to a dude with a jerk attitude (Bart Wood)
Except that in this case the guy doing the King's Move was elbow fouled and lost the match because of it. Doesn't really compare to that bullshit in WAL.

I think everyone acts more professionally in the European tournaments anyway since they don't tolerate the kind of histrionics you see in WAL.
