Why do you have to multiply the SEM by 2?
I think to get 2 standard deviations of the mean, because 95% of values fall within 2 standard deviations of the mean. It determines more accurately if your results are statistically significant, to determine if p < 0.05 and all that.
Why don't you produce more videos on statistics (descriptive AND inferential)? Your explanations are excellent!
OK but I see SEM in published papers with only one experiment, comparing two groups, one trial.
