During Electric Ocean at SeaWorld Orlando, guests are transported to an exotic world of light and sound complete with fantastical dancers, glowing sea creatures and high energy DJ entertainment. The entire event crescendos into a nightly display of fireworks and lasers that will leave everyone breathless.

This show is incredible, but video can't do it justice. You really need to be there, on that stage, as close as possible. It is such an atmospheric performance. I'm pretty sure we found out where we are going to be on our nights off. Incredible.

See, this is what Disney needs to bring to Orlando! World of color mashed with Illumations style lasers and fireworks. Sea World has finally created something that would bring me to the park and keep me until closing! Way to go Sea World!
Derek is 100% on point here. Saw the show twice this past summer and it was amazing. If it returns next summer, so will I.

It's seasonal so it's not a evry day thing which makes it better
I mean... Its already in Orlando... Why would you need to get Disney involved? Maybe they should focus on opening their own fireworks at this point and not worry so much about ripping SeaWorld off

I just saw the opening weekend of SeaWorld Orlando's Electric Ocean 2018, I believe there were major changes to the laser display, IMO great inprovement from the old version!
To me, this is what Rivers of Light should be at Disney. Well done Sea World!
Absolutely not, it is not a good fit for the Animal Kingdom, due to theming and elements disturbing to animals. This is obviously inspired by Disney's World of Color, but lacks a story and the vast music library of Disney. It is a fun show though and I am glad they are investing to rebuild their parks. They could add some projections on water screens, of aquatic life (perhaps a future enhancement).
Trek I did not mean this exact show. I meant this style of show. Granted the fireworks would be out due to the animals. But Rivers of Light is kinda a dud. And I'm a hardcore Disney fan.
After watching it there last night, it doesn't need a story. The show is so full of feels. Being there surrounded by people that have just spent the past hour or two dancing was an incredible feeling.
This is actually super cool... like really cool. Love the message, love the fountains too. Everything is awesome! It's time for SeaWorld to make a comeback :)

I hope SeaWorld starts doing something like this year-round, because this show was awesome! The effects easily beat out Universal's Cinematic Spectacular and all of Disney's shows except maybe IllumiNations, so if they could incorporate some sort of 'story' or a better defined theme they could have the best nighttime show in Florida, and maybe in America.
Actually, after going back and watching the other Orlando parks' nighttime shows, I've changed my mind: this one beats them all hands-down. What it lacks in story or narrative it makes up for in sheer spectacle, plus the music is just epic.

I've seen the show four times,its pretty much on par with the best at Disney.Ten times better than Rivers of Light as well as the one at Universal.
No story, hopefully it will be upgraded! Right now, just a lot of effects, not cohesive.
Watched this last week and it's amazing, the best I've ever seen we went back a few days later to watch again.
Seaworld Rocks
I went last summer and I was so close I could feel the spray of the water and heat from the fire. It was the best way to end the night with a literal bang. I danced the night away at Club SeaGlow

Was their last saturday it was fantastic. But who sings this song though?
I want to know where I can get THIS VERSION of the song "Burning Bright"? I have the remix from iTunes but it's just not the same. It's good...but I like this slower version better. Anyone have an idea? (I've already contacted Seaworld which is how I got the Itunes version). And this show...simply awesome!
Your biggest problem is you keep panning down when the fireworks are going off, we want to see them

yeah, they barely feel it since the firework vibrations dont transmit to the water and the sound under water sounds really low. bedsides im pretty sure they also have measures to protect the animals from this

I wish the video could do the show justice. You need to watch this from down on the dance floor, right up front. The whole Electric Ocean experience may be the most fun I've had at a park at night, besides Halloween Horror Nights. It is incredible.

Disney most definitely did not invent fountains. This SeaWorld show is fantastic
The show is incredible. We went last night and between Light up the Night, and Club Sea Glow, this is the best finale to a park I've experienced. I'm not a club goer or dancer, my girlfriend enjoys it, but there is so much going on that I always had something sparking my interest. They didn't budget cut this show, they partnered with Insomniac, and created a family friendly EDC.
I don't care if someone else has used water fountains before, or combined lasers and fog. This show has feeling, and I've never seen so many happy people leaving SeaWorld at the end of the night, in a very long time.

And it's not about who invented water jets or projections. It's about making a good sensorial and emotional show using technology.

I like it all minus the use of fireworks. At Animal Kingdom, fireworks from Everest area would affect the animals and disturb them from across the park, can only imagine how bad this is for the marine life across the lagoon.

Beyond the fact that the sound would be very quiet if not inaudible from underwater, there would almost certainly be special measures in place specifically designed to prevent the show from disturbing the animals if it's actually an issue. SeaWorld is predicated on its animals' wellbeing, so you can bet they take things like that into consideration.
