If you think about the two scenes, the one from the movie is what Flynn remembers, and the one from the show is the one both TRON and Dyson remember. So they're remembering what sticks out in their memory about what happened that night.
@@kalebdoom7944 That can actually be explained pretty easily. When Tron glanced to the side in the Uprising scene at 0:44, he was actually seeing what was happening in the Legacy scene at 0:53. Tron thus rushed in to save Flynn, leading to CLU wounding him as we see in the Legacy scene at 1:56. At this point, Dyson reveals himself as we see at 1:20, and from there the scene continues until CLU knocks Tron unconscious in the Uprising scene at 1:57. As a matter of fact, even the betrayal scene from Tron: Evolution can easily fit into this narrative, though at this moment I'm too lazy to actually do it. As a few other commentators have already stated, the betrayal scenes from Legacy, Uprising, and Evolution are all recounting the exact same event, it's just that they're from the points of view of different characters and thus whatever the character remembered most about that night is what gets depicted in that form of media. It's a credit to the franchise as a whole that it can portray the event in a much more entertaining manner by splitting it up among different outlets. Also in case anyone is wondering how Tron was able to take all these hits and still live, remember that he was a security program specifically designed to protect the Grid. He was programmed to take a beating.
Disney, if you want to reboot your franchises, why not bring back some underrated ones like tron instead of doing what you're already doing with aladdin and the lion king?
@@NeoConker626 his name is Fred Tatasciore, and he's more known for voicing loud (and I mean LOUD), brutish characters, so for him to play a character as calm and calculating like CLU...
i think they both can work. That large gash on Trons chest could have come from the strike the Flynn thought was the killing blow. Even that last blow just knocked him out to get him on Dysons operating table.
Security programs man! That „operating table“ was more like a slow derezzing torture table and he STILL survived even after blowing up the ship and a hard landing
At the moment tron is a lesser known series. There is a loyal fanbase but it’s a small one. Disney would have to increase that fanbase with a 3rd movie so a 2nd season would be popular enough
Its amazing to see that the same scene has diferent and valid versions because it is the most convincent for each of the characters, Tron and Flynn. We will not know what ACTUALLY happened because they are flashbacks and not a rewind. I would love to see a version were Clu tells what happened, because many times he lied and deceived the story along the time - He lied about Tron dying. He never got to see it and yet he keept saying even for Tessler that "I saw it myself".

Kinda sad , them both remembering this telling there successors, neither knowing that the other is also staking out in the outlands. So close, but so far.
Disney has done a huge crime by cancelling Tron Uprising, atleast they should have done 3 seasons, season 1 dealing with beck becoming tron and inspiring others, with flashbacks of tron's point of view tieing up the story and beck learning important lessons and learning it's not about tron or renegade but it's all about the programs becoming independent thinkers and starting an UPRISING, then season 2 dealing with the spread of Uprising in Argon city and eventually to other parts of the grid, and showing how CLU suppresses the uprisng(as we see in legacy that no one goes against CLU), and then along that showing CLU hunting the new Tron(renegade, beck) and TRON and it ending with Paige connecting the dots and realizing that beck is renegade and beck's identity being revealed, as he witnesses the uprising's fall and his friends derrezing and then a guilty Beck and Tron being on the run, evading from CLU's forces, and then finally season 3, in which CLU finally catches Beck and Tron, but paige gets to him before clu, but lets him go on realizing what she has become and being responsible for all of Beck's friends and eventually sacrificing herself for the uprising and beck and Beck witnessing her derrezing, eventually facing off against CLU and then Tron finally confronts CLU (maybe Beck gets derrezed or maybe gets saved by Tron), with Tron finally getting converted to Rinzler.
DIFFERENCES IN EACH SCENE IN STORY: Legacy: CLU gets the upper hand on Tron and uses his disc to repurpose Tron into becoming the brainwashed weapon of CLU called Rinzler. Uprising: CLU gets the upper hand on Tron and attempts to kill him. Tron survives with the entirety of the grid believing he is dead and goes into hiding.
