"Thank you for letting me die as a human" - this is pretty sad, but I won't cry. "Thank you for everything" - ok starting to tear up a bit "I love you" - WATERFALLS FROM MY EYES
Dr Usami really said his only reason for living was her and now that she's gone, he has no purpose left. Even though so many people needed and respected him, gave him gratitude, it meant nothing if she wasn't around. Thats a deep level of attachment that surpasses love
Horny episode 6, thriller episode 7, now hitting with the emotions in episode 8. Wasn't expecting it... This series definitely feels like a roller coaster as far as not knowing what to expect each week.
My Theory. I'm almost certain that Dr.Usami is the bowl haircut guy (Shiro) from the academy cuz remember he was building things in his room and his a builder not a doctor, and also from that end scene it makes me believe that the girl that died is Mimihime the same girl he had a naked picture of and he also confessed to her. She died and moments later Usami unalive himself, Mimihime found herself in darkness and later someone (Shiro/Usami) finds her in the dream. Since this was in the form of a dream does this mean that Mimihime's ability is to visions/dreams of the future??? Since she told Tokio that someone with her face came to save them in a dream. She would have been dreaming of the future in which she sees Maru come to the academy. Which would mean that Tokio (the academy) is in the past and Maru timeline is in the future.
"When I think about wanting to go outside, two people from the outside come to help me, and one of their faces is exactly the same as yours" that the key Mimihime once said in 1st ep to Tokio, u come the right way and u get the whole point of the series but this make this more sad.
Adding on to this: maybe the Haruki in the basement is somehow connected to this? It gave Kiruko a vision of an event that could potentially happen. EDIT: New episode answers this
I think Mimihime is the wife that died. And that the doctor is the boy that loves her. Meaning that hell is set in the future and heaven is set in the past. That would explain why she was in the ending of this episode, talking about a dream she had that she couldn't remember and since her dreams foretell the future, it could have been a dream about her and the doctor (the boy)
The last part with Mimihime seems random, but I have a theory. If you rewatch the first episode, Mimihime actually says to Tokio, "When I think about wanting to go outside, two people from the outside come to help me, and one of their faces is exactly the same as yours." That's all I'm gonna say.
but even so, why did she told that she forgotten thr dream?, did she actually forgot or did she lie... and why is that person wearing scl uniform, and there is only one person not two( in first episodee she told two guys came to rescue)...there is lot of misteries, don't spoil me though iam a anime only
Now I’m gonna take a wild guess here and I could be entirely wrong but I really think the timeline Maru and Kiruko are in is actually set in the future and the girl that Doc asked Maru to kill is actually Mimihime in the future. Like why would they show her in the end credits in THIS episode? + the dream she had was interesting too. The hand that appeared in her dream, I think it’s shiro’s hand (the boy who likes her), which makes me believe that Shiro could be the Doc in the future. Mimihime holding his hand in her dream like they’ve been ‘reunited’ after the Doc (future Shiro) killed himself but just showing it in their past self…. ah idk I can’t seem to explain it properly, but it made more sense in my head😭 I just think the school is set in the past because there would be no reason why they would show Mimihime in the end credits if there wasn’t some sort of connection to the current episode. It would be so random otherwise.
- Mimihime has shown she has precognition, so the dream she's referring to is likely about Usami - Shiro in previous episodes also shows he has a knack for tinkering with gadgets/technology, something that Usami is also good at - Mimihime also once asked Shiro, during that time the guy was acting up, if he'll tie her and cut her up in a room - Also same hair color, same eye color
Because of the credit scene. I'm gonna assume that the one they killed is actually Mimihime in the future. Remember when Mimihime say she had a dream that two people save her and one of them looks like Tokio. So we can also assume that Maru is definitely related to Tokio, maybe her mother? Congrats Roshi, you're theory is right! They surely are from a different timeline😅

@@ellusiv5121 They’re usually able to pick up on these things. I was surprised they just disregarded it like it wasn’t blatantly telling the viewer some very vital information.
Calling it now. The silver haired kid from "heaven" is the doctor and the girl that was turning into a Man eater was Mimihime. She can see the future somehow. The events taking place with Maru and Kiruko is taking place in the future. Maru and the Hotel King are both one of the baby man eaters from the facility while other of the older children escaped. Edit: Also, if I remember correctly, Mimihime was the one who was telling Tokio about wanting to see the sky. Which would explain why she wants to see it one last time before she dies.
Those with an eye for detail may have noticed that when the bald Liviumen member tells the protestors that their leader Mizuhashi had died, the exact scene before that has their leader bedridden shows Mizuhashi’s mouth still clearly moving/breathing. There is some cut dialogue from the manga, specifically when the Liviumen are laying siege to the Immortal Order, where an Immortal Order member (one of the guys with a mustache) try to tell the invading Liviumen that Mizuhashi’s leg had been necrotic when she was originally admitted to the Immortal Order, and that if her leg hadn’t been amputated, she would have been at serious risk of dying. And it was more clear in the manga, but Hoshio (the woman on life-support), was the only person in the Immortal Order who had been afflicted with the same disease that Tarao and Mikura (the woman that Maru had been traveling with and Kiruko got the laser-gun from) died from. All the other patients were just people suffering from regular injuries and other maladies that Dr. Usami had treated over the years. Also those who have watched this series’ ED enough times may have noticed that this episode contained a neat visual parallel/reference to one of the visuals located near the end of the ED. And if it wasn’t obvious by the end of the episode, yes the insignia on the button Dr. Usami was holding before he killed himself, is indeed the same design as the one on Kiruko’s Kiru-Beam/laser-gun. For those interested in reading along with the manga, Episode 8 adapted the remainder of chapter 20 (19/32 pages), all of chapter 21, the first 7 pages of chapter 22 and then 5 pages from a different middle part of chapter 22 (so 12/24 pages), and then finally the first 6 pages of chapter 23 (6/30 pages). Total, this is equivalent to about 2.3 chapters worth of manga. According to Masakazu Ishiguro on Twitter, the remaining parts of chapter 22 had to be cut completely from the anime for like run-time related reasons (i.e. apparently they won't be included at the beginning of episode 9). And if anyone is interested in starting the manga after this season is finished (it is currently planned to adapt up to some part of tankōbon Volume 6 of the manga, likely somewhere in the range of chapters 34-37), I personally would still recommend starting the manga from the beginning regardless, as in addition to the standard cutting of extra dialogue and scenes from the anime for run-time and cinematic pacing, the chapter titles and cover pages of the manga also play a role in experiencing the foreshadowing of the story that the anime can’t quite replicate (due to the inherent difference in mediums).
@@anonisnoone6125 the cut stuff more explicitly reveals that Mizuhashi (the Liviumen leader) isn’t actually dead (as noted in my original comment, the anime already implied it) by having Maru and Kiruko meeting up with her later (and finding out she wasn’t actually anti-technology and had more misunderstood what was going on with the Immortal Order). Also Kiruko ends up getting their first period (i.e. Kiruko hadn’t had a period since the brain transplant) and shenanigans occur. So while definitely not unsubstantial stuff, it was technically the least plot important parts of the arc/chapter (and thus likely why they presumably got cut for time).
@@TheoVorster The finale will be the most controversial one I think if they end with more then 32 ch of manga but I will keep supporting this manga and anime it's has potential and I love it
@@ttg4020 Chapter 32 will likely be adapted in episode 12 (along with chapters 31 and 33), Ishiguro the mangaka, stated that this season of the anime will adapt up to some part of tankōbon volume 6 (that volume collects chapters 32-37). Episode 13, the finale, will most likely adapt chapters 34-36.
i forgot to mention the man eater monster that maru and kiruko killed in the basement was ohnma, the girl with sun glasses that has the ability of getting you in a illusion if you see her eyes.. most kids from the school turned in to these monster at somepoint when they got the diseased that gives you dark spots in your skin, they die and turned in to these monsters
Ngl I cried so bad this eps, that dr too is like the closest clue(he literally from the facility and know about the 'disease') they got and lost just like that
So my theory that the facility is in the past of this same timeline seems basically confirmed in this episode. Hoshio was the girl at the end (that was already implied having visions of the future, think about the test in the first episode), the "dream" at the end where everything gets dark is her death, but then dr. Usami commits suicide and reaches her; dr. Usami, who's the boy with the bob cut (which casually is the one who builds stuff -"it makes her happy when I make things"). So Tokio (implied to be pregnant) must be Maru's mother, and since he was born the year of the great disaster it means everything is about to get crazy in those flashbacks probably jeesh this is interesting.
for people that doesnt know all stuff in the school with the children is betwen 15 or 16 years in the past, and kiruko and maru stuff is the present, dr usumi is the kid named shiro that got the naked mimihime photo, and mimihime the girl with long ears is the woman that maru end her suffering by killing her :( and yes dr usuml and mimihime were a couple. also maru is tokio son
Earlier this season, Heavenly Delusion, Demon Slayer, and Hell's Paradise all have some type of fish monsters. Now both Heavenly Delusion and Vinland Saga have dead bandaged woman 💀
I read the manga 2 weeks ago so I knew this was coming. But man, this episode made me CRY cry, almost to the point of sobbing. It hit so much harder with the knowledge from the manga. They nailed the emotions in this episode. Everything from the voice acting and the music was on point. Probably my favorite episode so far. Also they rearranged some the sequences at the end of the episode which I think was for the better. It helped emphasize the important emotional aspects.
Emotions, wow, tears... and lot of clues to figure out what is goin on. Fantastic. This episode forced me to read manga. And I can say that manga is awsome.
Maybe I'm tweaking but that ending scene kinda fixed the timeline theory Basically girl dies and shes like its so dark im scared then the doc kills himself and becomes the light for the girl. The doctor and his wife (?) Is connected with the two people from the facility.
Idk how your watching schedule aligns with your uploads, but if you actually watched Vinland Saga, Jigokuraku and Heavenly Delusion back to back, I feel sorry for you haha
The girl had the same disease as the boy from the facility. The reason why the boy didn't transform is because he was cremated and that's why only the core remained. And I'm pretty sure the girl from Maru's flashback was the same and maybe Maru killed her with his power
First there were fishes attacking in every anime(Heavenly delusion, Hell paradise, Demon slayer) and Now people are resorting to suicide (Oshi no ko, Heavenly delusion).
What I like about this anime is that it never feels like there is a "the bad guys". Sure, there are bad people, but nobody is painted as irredeemably evil or perfectly good.
I'm surprised Usami didn't recognize or say something to Maru.... Also, re-watching this after catching up to the manga, these two hit pretty hard; they deserved better.
in this world I never saw someone cry as beautiful and painfull to watch as Sheera does, she looked so preety and at the same time so hurt that I could not contain my tears
Mimihime is probably the girl and Dr. Usami is probably the nerd guy who likes her. Remember when the nerd is busy tinkering with machines and also Mimihime has a power of clairvoyance, she probably saw her future in the dream like state. Lastly we didn't recognize it was her cuz her only working eye is from the one usami gave her but the eyelashes gave it away.
That was his spouse and about the last scene ,the girl saw a vision of her own death along with the guy named shiro(now dr.usami). So yeah, the girl with all the bandages that's her.
wait a min, i have a theory, i think all those children are gonna become monsters, and the fish hands monster might be from the froppy looking girl who climb walls, and just maybe , the dismembered body parts of this epiodes girl became a maneater , cause it had psychic abilities to show illusions.... or that may have been the future cause maru missed one , i dont know its a crazy theory.... take it with a rain of salt......
At first before watching the ep, saw some picture from the trailer showing that woman with cut limb and everything. I honestly thought at first that is Kiruko cause I just having a deep thought that her sister is not dead yet... BUT she somehow transfer her consciousness or exchange with the brother's consciousness just so he can survive with a fine body while she being treated with the injured(fatal) body. Idk, that just me hoping the real Kiruko still alive
The thing I like about y’all posting both heavenly delusion and Hells paradise together is because Both of their Show Titles are Oxymorons in which they contradict themselves… Heavenly-Delusion Hells-Paradise In switching both Starting words with eachother you get two words that Go well together… Heavenly-Paradise Hells-Delusion That’s just me tho🤷🏾♂️ [as]
All those people are clapped. He hacked up his wife over and over cause the disease eventually comes back. There were infected people on both sides of that conflict who are gonna die and turn into monsters. I am real confused about these monsters. First I thought it was the one kids drawings, then I thought they were making monster babies in a lab, now it's monsters coming from dead infected people. And then you remember the one kid who was infected got cremated and left behind that monster egg looking thing but the people at the facility were surprised by that even though they had monster babies.
I have a theory and somehow it make sense, Mimihime has an ability where she has foresight right? Then we can conclude that dream is a part her ability, Dr Usami looks like Shiro (the white hair horny kid in the facility) and Mimihime looks like the girl who just died. They both died together at the end of the episode, going back to the dream of Mimihime, I think it symbolizes her passing where she is alone in the darkness at first then Shiro/Dr Usami later joined her holding her hand. She also said at some point that she saw someone look like Tokio, I think Haru is the baby man-eater in last couple of episodes where she saw Tokio and I think somehow copied her face since it doesn't have any and is attached to Tokio
Even MORE pain!!

Emotions, wow, tears... and lot of clues to figure out what is goin on. Fantastic. This episode forced me to read manga. And I can say that manga is awsome.
The scene with Mimihime at the end wasn’t random at all.
In this episode, someone who looks just like Tokio indeed came and ‘saved’ her. :’)
Maybe I'm tweaking but that ending scene kinda fixed the timeline theory
Basically girl dies and shes like its so dark im scared then the doc kills himself and becomes the light for the girl. The doctor and his wife (?) Is connected with the two people from the facility.
Tenza, Arnheid and her child, then Dr. Usami and his wife. So much sad deaths
Akane (oshi no ko) who almost commits suic1de because of the internet...man, quadruple episodes of pain
Idk how your watching schedule aligns with your uploads, but if you actually watched Vinland Saga, Jigokuraku and Heavenly Delusion back to back, I feel sorry for you haha
Triple PAIN
every reaction i saw the episode still makes me emotional, really underrated anime for sure
it is extrem rare that sheera is so fast crying..
Bruh, the triple pain upload is crazy😭😭😭
The girl had the same disease as the boy from the facility. The reason why the boy didn't transform is because he was cremated and that's why only the core remained. And I'm pretty sure the girl from Maru's flashback was the same and maybe Maru killed her with his power
this episode made me cry twice
First there were fishes attacking in every anime(Heavenly delusion, Hell paradise, Demon slayer) and Now people are resorting to suicide (Oshi no ko, Heavenly delusion).
Holy shot, I just realized something about this episode after watching this reaction! Oh man, that particular scene made so much sense to me now.
What I like about this anime is that it never feels like there is a "the bad guys". Sure, there are bad people, but nobody is painted as irredeemably evil or perfectly good.
Lupa waking up from slumber: "wait, is the season done?" bruhh
I'm surprised Usami didn't recognize or say something to Maru....
Also, re-watching this after catching up to the manga, these two hit pretty hard; they deserved better.
This anime is so underrated, I hope more people are going to watch it by the end of the season !
Watching this again I think I just put together a plot twist later down the line.
The second I realized it I started fucking sobbing.
It's a terrible day for rain today - Roy Mustang
All 3 shows was just pure pain indeed
in this world I never saw someone cry as beautiful and painfull to watch as Sheera does, she looked so preety and at the same time so hurt that I could not contain my tears
This week was insane, all sad chapters and on top of that there was no Mashle
Mimihime is probably the girl and Dr. Usami is probably the nerd guy who likes her. Remember when the nerd is busy tinkering with machines and also Mimihime has a power of clairvoyance, she probably saw her future in the dream like state. Lastly we didn't recognize it was her cuz her only working eye is from the one usami gave her but the eyelashes gave it away.
At least they gave us one wholesome and cute thing at the end of the episode 🥲
This show reminds me of ATLA with how good the side stories are, just without the pg rating lol
This ep was amazing almost cried
When Maru said his hands only bring death 💔 I see a breakdown on its way within him
The week of Pain and Suffering 😢
How can 1 episode make me cry 2 times 😭
RIP Doc Usami and to his woman
‼️ SPOILER ALERT: 👇
Doc Usami was Shiro!
and that woman with him was Mimihime.
I'm surprised Sheera didn't notice why that scene was shown at the end.
The pin, the thing that Usami has in his right hand when he ded is the same as the jacket of Tokyo/Mimihime, Mimihime in the cave is missing one
to think that a character you knew for only just 20min could make you feel that way
This episode sent my mind into a spiral with the post credits sequence. Maybe it's best mimihime doesn't remember her dream.
When a calm dude starts balling his eye out, you just can't help but do the same.
Man this whole week was rough, from Oshi No Ko to Heavenly delusions to Vinland Saga and more. I'm tapped out.
That was his spouse and about the last scene ,the girl saw a vision of her own death along with the guy named shiro(now dr.usami). So yeah, the girl with all the bandages that's her.
Now I Wonder What Else They Watched On That Day, Ig Hell's Paradise And Vinland Saga?
His love is so pure man.
I'm still pretty sure she was his daughter so imagine how painful must have been for him to chop her up😭
episode messed lupa up so bad he thought it was the finale
Shit man my eyes kept sweating this episode my mom took the same trip as the doc :(
vinland depression + hell'paradise + heavenly pain it's illegal
Me seeing three thumbnail where I can see visible Pain on the 3 of them.....
wait a min, i have a theory, i think all those children are gonna become monsters, and the fish hands monster might be from the froppy looking girl who climb walls, and just maybe , the dismembered body parts of this epiodes girl became a maneater , cause it had psychic abilities to show illusions.... or that may have been the future cause maru missed one , i dont know its a crazy theory.... take it with a rain of salt......
Did any of you notice the button that Usami was holding? Earlier, Mimihime gave a button to Shiro. That should give you a hint
It's crazier when you realize who the doctor and the girl is.
Seeing a man with deep voice like Dr Usami crying makes me tears ngl
The thing I like about y’all posting both heavenly delusion and Hells paradise together is because Both of their Show Titles are Oxymorons in which they contradict themselves…
Heavenly-Delusion
Hells-Paradise
In switching both Starting words with eachother you get two words that Go well together…
Heavenly-Paradise
Hells-Delusion
That’s just me tho🤷🏾♂️

Never has a Monday been so sad.
Yeah we really got our asses kicked this week lol.
What can concluded so far, man-eater is literally just another word of 'zombies'
This hits so much harder now that (I think) I've figured out who Dr. Usami and the girl were.
The dang music kicking in gives the emotional gut punch. lol
Should've called this episode Disturbed, because so many people were down with the sickness
Highly recommend "Insomniacs after school" for a therapy session after all this pain.
That girl was Mimihime. And Doc was Shiro (the boy who received naked pic of mimihime in earlier episode). Last scene made it clear.
Damn. Was tears day today. Huh ? Lol
Heaven went on vaction case this whole episode was Hell😂
😂
knowing the backstory of this characters is a gut punch
this episode was so fucking heavy
