- Should you use IBIS (inbody image stabilization) on a gimbal? Does it interfere with the gimbal? Does it make the footage look smoother? People often ask these questions. I try to give answers in this quicktip video.

Good point about the stuttering image whilst panning with a frame rate of 24 or 25, it took me a while to work this out for myself 🤦♂️
how'd you fix it because I noticed it too
@@voltvisuals recording at 50/60 FPS gives smooth playback (when using a lot of panning) when recording fast action eg Football/soccer or motor sports.. This also allows for playback at the full speed or slow motion!

What about without gimbal? What are your settings for vlogging? Walking/talking.
Without gimbal I would also use I.S. Lock mode. But you have to be careful to not get a lot of wobble with ultra wide lenses. 12mm is mostly fine, but anything wider can give you wierd distortion when walking.
While pan or tilt i wouldn't recommend it. It's good for dollys

Hallo! Die Aufnahmedistanz sieht sehr nah aus. Da ist jede Bewegung natürlich viel stärker wahrnehmbar. Für sowas müsste man dann einen Slider nehmen. Der läuft wesentlich ruhiger. Ist das Gewackel denn auch auf normalen Aufnahmen mit dem Gimbal so?
@@TeaJayPhotography Hallo und danke für die Rückmeldung. Bei größeren Bewegungen und weitwinkliger gefilmt, da ist es weniger schwimmend. Einen Slider ( nano slider von ifootage ) habe ich. Nur wenn Du schon mal eine Hochzeit gefilmt hast, weißt Du, dass Du leider keine Zeit hast für einen Slider. Da zählt jede Sekunde. Die Geister streiten sich...die einen sagen man sollte den Steadyshot in der Kamera deaktivieren...die anderen sagen genau das Gegenteil. Ich würde mir auch einen anderen Gimbal holen, da ich Qualität abliefern möchte und nicht in der Post Produktion mich ständig ärgern möchte...aber was ist, wenn andere Modelle die gleichen Mängel haben?! Weißt Du darüber was?
