I'm fairly happy with the 20GBs of video memory I have. Nvidia kinda left us with a crunchy wallet and not much extra performance these past few years. So I swapped to AMD😊
3060 8gb is actually 3050ti. And now they are ending production of 3050 to produce 3040ti with 6gb vram. New bottom of the barrel looks like this after 3050 8gb stocks gone : 3040ti -> Marketed as 3050 6 gb 3050ti -> Marketed as 3060 8 gb 3060 -> Good Old 3060 12 gb (that nobody should buy because it's nearly at the same price with 4060 currently). With current pricing, anything worse than a 4060 is a bad financial decision if you really wanna buy an Nvidia.
a 5 frame gain for the same price 4060 vs 3060. eh, may as well right? Though, in my position as owning a 3060 I just have no reason to get a 4060, and should wait another gen or three if I don't want to spend more than $300 for more than a 20% gain.
Bro, greatly appreciated. Tell me what you'd like to see! Im all ears. Ive got so many ideas to make insane builds like a helium PC! but videos cost a lot so Im looking for crumb ideas to fund the big ones. My latest idea was to make a video about stacking AFMF with DLSS frame gen and make an insane framegen machine. Not my idea but no one has a video on it. would it be worth to paywall it since its such an involved process?
Everything I do as personal hobbies ( News, testing out weird stuff ) is here. I actually for the hardwarecanucks. I do testing and stuff for them. This is just my personal side channel!
im using a 1660Ti, and it still runs good with 6 gigs of Vram, the issue isn't the Vram though its the games you are playing. If you are playing modern games that require tons of vram, then yeah you are going to have a vram problem, but if you dont play the latest games often at all, like for example cod games that came out from 2022 and before that year, you can still play them. Forza can run 6 gigs of vram pretty efficiently, halo infinite, despite wanting more vram can compromise your vram, warzone can run on 6 gigs of vram. Practically any game that came out before 2022 can run on 6 gigs of vram, it just depends on how powerful the card is.
Imagine if AMD or Intel did with their CPUs what Nvidia does with their GPUs. AMD rereleases Ryzen 7 5800X3D as 6c12 thread with less v-cache at a lower price point... How does Nvidia get away with this?
All of these companies are doing sketchy biz practices. Siding w/ any one of them means you aren't paying attention or your just being a fanboy. Nvidia is just a bit more overt while AMD and Intel try to be a bit more covert about it.
AMD does the same BS. Remember the RX 6500xt. The 7950x3d and 7900x3d are also a scam. They have to cut their cores in half in order to use 3D v cache. Also rely on Xbox Gamebar to work as a scheduler. The line up of the 7000 series is wrong as well. The 7900xtx should be the 7900xt, 7900xt is the 7800xt, 7800xt is the 7700xt.
@@ZackSNetwork they didn't change the base product to be worse after release like Nvidia has done repeatedly while keeping the same product name. It's intentionally deceptive business. Not just a bad product naming scheme.
@@ZackSNetwork the 6500xt is godawful but it had a reason to exist. 7950x3d and 7900x3d are definitely not scams. the naming is all fucked up although it's really on nvidia and its rather large swath of stupidly loyal/naive customers for starting and accepting this crap.
Gamaky K61. Great cloudy RGB keeb. my main at home is the Dareu A98 though. Currently testing the SN75 from gamakay with their new planet series. Im all about budget ish keebs and keebs parts. The planet series is actually turning out pretty good! Video on them soon!
I mean, technically there are no (or very limited) use cases for a video watching AI that gives commentary. The Gemini demo video misrepresented some things, but the accompanying blog post did explain everything in detail, and the only reason people think Gemini was 'fake' is because of the Google blog post that explained it all - how Gemini was prompted with image stills and text. Bit of an embellishment for sure in the video demo, but actually not far from reality.
Just like chat GPT allows for real time interaction, I think a video AI would have just as much benefit. Can't ask a text based LLM about a video prompt, neither a picture model without loads of pictures to selectively distribute. they show a video based LLM response for a Text and Image LLM modal. Its that simple.
So they're just releasing a G-Force ver RTX A2000 6 GB I don't understand that we already have that out in the wild used on eBay with the Quattro RTX A2000 6gb-250$
Why would i buy this Nvidia trash when a 2070 goes for 200€ on the used market with 8gigs and is actually on par with an original 3060 ? Let's not even talk about AMD which went stupid with the deals a few weeks ago. Bah 😂

Mike needs me for funky ideas. like how we made a overvolting fans video a few months ago.. only for the idea to be recycled by a bigger youtuber a few months later! 😂 Not naming anyone 🙄🙄🙄🤣🤣

Great to see you again!
Your absence was sorely felt, Snows my dude. Always loved your vibes. I'll appreciate any crumbs you can provide us from here on out!

I was wondering if you were alive 😂
Did you finally get your AMD Shill money? Is that why you were not uploading for a while?
