A lot of people might already know this but someone still might not so I'll comment it If your base of operation isn't Calpheon, you can leave one alt over there, buy paprikas, put it in the marketplace storage and it'll be in all the other marketplace storages. So you don't need to keep on going back to Calpheon for paprikas.
for anyone that is new, you need to craft vinegar multiple times until you're not in beginner skill level, then you can proceed into pickled vegetables.

Watched the whole video. Couldn’t agree more about the pickled vegetables for power leveling. I sacrificed profit on some higher xp recipes for quickly leveling to master in about 2 days. You can also chain together recipes that can be used in other recipes at higher levels so you aren’t wasting whatever you cook before. I think this has become my life skill of choice because as you said most things are on marketplace and it provides a much more passive route to greater and greater profits as you move towards guru cooking. Great video love your enthusiasm keep it up!!

New player here and I try to follow all your guides. The time and effort you put into explaining everything is remarkable. You really explain from a new player perspective. However, I'm really disappointed as to how behind console is compared to PC. I literally get elated watching your guides and thinking I can do that (for example, I have all the nodes for veggies and fruits to cook), only for me to hop into game realising I can't do that in console. Same happened with the beginner gearing guide for non season since console doesn't have the Oasis vendor with Ramone's gear. Would really appreciate if you could add in the relevant information for console. Thanks. :)
Yes that site is awesome - it works for everything, processing, cooking, alchemy, any life skill. It lets you find recipes that might be amazingly better profitability. I main alchemy for a life skill, and I've found some non-meta recipes on there that make an absolute killing, just messing with the calculators.

Update to the update: You need to be Apprentice 1 to make the pickled vegetables so you need to find something else to make to get you from Beginner 1 to Apprentice 1. I don't know if that was mentioned or not?
Literally powered leveled cooking from beginning 1 by making vinegar to god damn cooking profession 1 in a rough estimate of an hour (included with heavy investment of loggia and skill scroll) with the pickled vegetables. You sir are just the golden light house of explaining bdo

This guy is much better than most people out there doing tutorials. The others assume you played thousands of hours already and just throw out terms that nobody but them could understand lol.
I actually got the game like 4 years ago back when silver had weight. I stuck to it for a few days but got overwhelmed by just the sheer amount of stuff you can do. Luckily over the years the game has gotten way better and thanks to your guides it's helped me through a lot of the things you can do in game.

A question to console players: I don’t have a professional cooking box at the Imperial cooking npc, so I can’t make boxes out of pickled vegetables. The actual question: do I have to unlock it somehow for it to show up in that list ? Or is it the fact that we’re like 10 yrs behind the pc version ? Edit: I know you have to be pro 1 to be able to make those and I am, but I still can’t.

I do hope I am not missing something explained in video, but here it goes... So I followed this cooking. I decided to make Tea with Fine Scent rather than Pickled Veg. I happened to have a couple quests for this, including making an imperial box, then I realized selling on the marketplace (as long as they actually sell) would return nearly 2x the amount of silver than imperial crafting. I just want to make sure that I am in the right here, that I didn't mess up or miss anything.
I have no idea what the market for that is like, but if you check the websites linked in the description, you should be able to see how much the box goes for that, and see if it truly is more profitable using BDO DAE.

I'm a bit confused. Does it say 18 pickled vegetables makes the box to sell for 16,667? Then putting 16k on each 1 pickled vegetable single value on the BDO Dae isn't accurate?
Thanks for vid. What i find hard is knowing what to grow, cook make etc. Making a good profit is one thing, but making an item that will sell quickly is also important. Im using the market info for price increases but it doesn't necessarily mean it will sell quickly Also when does the imperial delivery reset?
delivery resets every few hours, but you are limited per day on how much you can trade by your total contribution points. As far as your first question, you've just gotta analyze the market before you go into it. All the websites that help with that are linked in the description of the video.
I might just be an idiot but, I wanted to follow along with this guide as much as I could, minus the imperial stuff since I've only just begun cooking for the first time. I got together a set of materials for a couple dishes of Pickled Vegetables, and when inputting, had failed both times due to lack of skill... Is it just random chance that it fails or are there other dishes that I have to practice first before hand before I can make those pickled vegetables? Thanks for the videos, I've learned lots
I want to chime in. I started the quest with my season charator but switched to another and had no issues cooking or claiming the PEN ring. "Good save the queen" and perhaps Evildousharm too.

Sidenote: The imperial boxes weight is 50 lt each, so if you, dear reader, are not running around with 1900 weight limit like our narrator, you might consider crafting the boxes at the spot of your imperial vendor to avoid running back and forth like a madman on cocaine. Keep in mind: you can sell boxes only as long as you do not break your personal weight limit. Sidenot 2: I play BDO since day one, and never have I been assasinated while riding around. Ever. That was obviously a stalker (age guessed: 13 or 14 years old).
Might also be good to mention that there is a reset timer for the trades. Another side note, i have been playing for about 2 months and i have been assassinated like that while running with my miniature elephant (Age guess: 12 or 13 years old)
I get assassinated at least 2-3 times a day. It comes with the territory of making videos lol, it's why I always travel with no gear on from point to point. If people are gonna hunt me down they at least are going to take a massive karma hit for it.

Also, if you are moving the imperial boxes around, you can use the roll to move around quicker than walking encumbered, roll fowards, stand up, roll forwards, stand up, rinse and repeat. Used to be a popular method to cheese trading levels before they nerfed the XP from short distance trades, and is still a useful tip for moving around way overwieght.
Noob questions (sorry) So you sell your cooked goods to an NPC? Can you put it on the marketplace to make more money? Is there another point to selling it to the imperial npc besides making money?

I'm probably missing something, but if I try to turn in all my boxes it doesn't allow me because of my inventory weight limit... so I just run loads back and forth from storage. Is this normal or is there a way I can one-click sell all of my boxes for the day?
bro should I use my blue meals in cooking the yellow meals like balenos meal if I only need 1 for the ingredient like for exam should I use crispy meat croquette to cook balenos?

But, yesterday I did some random repeatable in Heidel that gave me 500 high quality onion and I was like, wow, super awesome. So my initial question was something along the lines of your cp farm video, in addition to "hey, if you're into cooking, these dailies over here will interest you". "If you're into alchemy, you can do these easy dailies for crafting materials". Etc.

I was cooking Skilled 2 and didnt bother to cook except making beer, now im artisan 1 and it took me less than 4h. That works.

Cooking time > Cooking Exp > Mastery. Silver embroidered is still used by guru cooks. Use mastery clothes when giving boxes to NPC.

I'm a bit confused. Does it say 18 pickled vegetables makes the box to sell for 16,667? Then putting 16k on each 1 pickled vegetable single value on the BDO Dae isn't accurate?

Thanks for vid. What i find hard is knowing what to grow, cook make etc. Making a good profit is one thing, but making an item that will sell quickly is also important. Im using the market info for price increases but it doesn't necessarily mean it will sell quickly
Also when does the imperial delivery reset?
delivery resets every few hours, but you are limited per day on how much you can trade by your total contribution points. As far as your first question, you've just gotta analyze the market before you go into it. All the websites that help with that are linked in the description of the video.
I might just be an idiot but, I wanted to follow along with this guide as much as I could, minus the imperial stuff since I've only just begun cooking for the first time. I got together a set of materials for a couple dishes of Pickled Vegetables, and when inputting, had failed both times due to lack of skill... Is it just random chance that it fails or are there other dishes that I have to practice first before hand before I can make those pickled vegetables?

I want to chime in. I started the quest with my season charator but switched to another and had no issues cooking or claiming the PEN ring. "Good save the queen" and perhaps Evildousharm too.

Sidenote: The imperial boxes weight is 50 lt each, so if you, dear reader, are not running around with 1900 weight limit like our narrator, you might consider crafting the boxes at the spot of your imperial vendor to avoid running back and forth like a madman on cocaine. Keep in mind: you can sell boxes only as long as you do not break your personal weight limit.
Sidenot 2: I play BDO since day one, and never have I been assasinated while riding around. Ever. That was obviously a stalker (age guessed: 13 or 14 years old).
Might also be good to mention that there is a reset timer for the trades. Another side note, i have been playing for about 2 months and i have been assassinated like that while running with my miniature elephant (Age guess: 12 or 13 years old)
I get assassinated at least 2-3 times a day. It comes with the territory of making videos lol, it's why I always travel with no gear on from point to point. If people are gonna hunt me down they at least are going to take a massive karma hit for it.

Also, if you are moving the imperial boxes around, you can use the roll to move around quicker than walking encumbered, roll fowards, stand up, roll forwards, stand up, rinse and repeat. Used to be a popular method to cheese trading levels before they nerfed the XP from short distance trades, and is still a useful tip for moving around way overwieght.

Is there another point to selling it to the imperial npc besides making money?

I understand all of this but... im a bit confused ? Im on console and I don't see any of these cooking boxes in the imperial npc list for pickle vegetable
is this only for pc ? or is it coming out eventually for us ? also i tried following the whole knowledge guide for processing incase i needed it to unlock the recipe to process pickle vegetable but there's no quest for it from any of the npc that i went to like in the vid.
Console is playing on an older patch with all different recipes.

But, yesterday I did some random repeatable in Heidel that gave me 500 high quality onion and I was like, wow, super awesome. So my initial question was something along the lines of your cp farm video, in addition to "hey, if you're into cooking, these dailies over here will interest you". "If you're into alchemy, you can do these easy dailies for crafting materials". Etc.

Quick tip for those who want to cook all the way to Guru... Start getting MILK and MEAT now. Get some alts park them to get meat and milk and once u start need them u already have lots of it stacked
