- One way of how to fix a broken seatbelt holder on a BMW Z3
Replacing plastic tap with rivet nuts and screws
Making a replacement job easier, just loosen two screws and drilling a pair of holes
The trick is to fasten the rivet nut in the plastic holder and drilling the holes with the right angle

You mounted RivNuts to original plate? What size worked best?

In the kit I bought the one with M6 mm thread inside and 9 mm outside diameter worked best. Important that the rivnut fits tight to the original plate.

@@Leifjansson8 i ordered Rivnut tool kit and URO belt holders. You installed Rivnut into the original seat ‘backing plate’ … yes?

Yes and make sure to press the rivnut to the plate while mounting it otherwhise it may fold on the wrong side of the plate
