I have RSI and scar tissue in my wrists and for a couple years now I haven't been able to do my own hair the way I used to, and even though it might sound a little shallow I am someone who used to love getting ready and doing my make up it was such an essential part of my life, and now I can't do it as much because of my condition. I even cut my hair short because I just couldn't do much with it, my condition overall messed up with my life and I even suffered from depression at one point ( I am doing much better now though). I was SO excited watching your video I already placed an order for the curl bar, if I am able to do my hair in a more comfortable manner a couple times a week even if it takes me a long time, it would be a victory for me. I forgot to comment this before but it shows just how much I love a RUclipsr when I can watch 20-40 minute videos of them and get sad when it's about to end! I sat through the entire video of you and your mom and was like what why is it ending so quick then realised it was over an hour long! You probably get tons of comments like this but honestly, thank you so much for being so honest in reviews, you've saved people a lot of money on non pigmented, not half worth it pallets and for me who likes to buy and do makeup it is so great to see someone who says it as it is! Plus any controversy that there is it's a breath of fresh air hearing a MATURE person talk about it and someone who despite maybe not agreeing or like the person respects both sides of the story and will state the facts and not just filter out bits and pieces like some people do to make one side of the story more believable. I am not one for hyperbole in reviews, (or life in general), but I have to say, this tool totally changed my hair styling game. It is so easy to use. I have never been able to curl my hair in the conventional way, but with this tool, I can get actual beachy waves that last. Great video, by the way!

I love the Hot Tools brand. My daughter has very thin hair and her Hot Tools curing iron is the first one I have bought that actually curls her hair-and they don't immediately fall out.

I really love this curling iron, especially the timer function. Idk about anyone else but every time I would put hair on the iron, I'd count to 10 seconds every. single. time. It's nice being able to think while I'm doing my hair. As for the shape, it's only slightly helpful. My shoulders still get sore. I would say it's maybe 9% less sore than it would be when I use a standard curling wand.

I wish my hair was that easy to curl! I already have wavy hair, but it's very thick and long. Sometimes I want to curl my hair to have a more "perfect" kind of beachy wave because naturally my wavy hair is frizzy. Would you still recommended this tool/routine for my kind of hair?

I would have happily used your affiliate link but I am in the U.K. so by the time international customs and taxes have been added it really isn't feasible. I don't know your demographics of your channel but I sure your international viewers would be more than happy to use in affiliated in-country supplier.
