    Owned several 600xp indys, great sleds. This one appears to be another great unit.

    i think this sled is best one polaris has ever built, the sled seems faster then any other 600 polaris i have ridden, you enter any corner at almost any speed it turns. i have almost 1000 miles on sled and no issues other than parking brake that needed to be adjusted easy fix but overall great sled

      I know a guy with a brand new 2019 850 rmk pro and if he goes to pin t to bring the front end up she just boggs out before it moves and wont do it. In my opinion it will be a better engine after a few more years of work with it.

    How does the 129 compare to the 137 switchback I own now. Looking at buying one but like my switchback.

  • @mathyouschmitz
    @mathyouschmitz 6 лет назад +2

    I ride a 2016 switchback 600 and get no lower than 12.4mpg and when it's on the warmer side out (25°F and above) I get 14 mpg. We ride 90% groomed trails probably at a avg of 40mph. I wish it got better, like 16, but it's not a ski-doo so its wishful thinking. Other than that I love the sled.

      Just read the 2019...its much of the same except new gauges, which I'm not really sure are better than the old gauges.
      I'd much rather have a analog tach/speedo vs digital readout. I know where a needle is sitting...I need to waste time "reading" a digital
      And this is coming from someone with digital on their current sleds

      @@oldslow3694 That's a very old school view Mr. Austin Becker, and I'm there with you. I think the bigger accomplishment is to make a 500 or 600cc that's light, quick, goes plenty fast, 80mph or so and gets decent mileage if you drive reasonable. Nothing wrong with not wanting to drop 100 bucks a weekend on high test fuel. I like those sleds, the El Tigre, the Indy Adventure with the 600. The new Arctic Cat blast with a single cylinder 400cc liquid cooled. A crazy thing to try, I hope they make something of it, other than a million rental sleds. I love me some one banger motorbikes, Yamaha SRX I believe was a 600 or 650 single. Husqvarna is making 710's and something else in single cylinder cycles too. Cheap. Torquey. Insurance isn't murder.

      @@heatmoon my 850 & 600 are very reliable 1000 plus miles never changed plugs, my 550 shift same way. yes i also would like to see smaller motors but too many factors why we don't see them like in 80 "s & 90's but under ideal conditions my 850 got 16 mpg , my 600 got less. but these sleds are some much better then the older ones

    Wow riding a yellow sled must really make you insecure. I remember similar paranoia when the pro s came out. We all know team yellow is completely original. They invented precision skis. Then they were so nice they just decided to give Polaris the ok for perc for no reason whatsoever 🤔

    • @Sledtube
      @Sledtube 5 лет назад

      Matthew Fuller just like all the unbiased reviews stated, the secret to r-motion is the long front arm on the skid which Polaris copied.
