    He's so rarely seen in missions that whenever a Caliban joins a squad I just instinctively start shooting at the sentients because my brain doesn't even consider them being allies a possibility.

      I mean.. you're not wrong. Those things aren't allies. They're floating visual effects that serve no purpose in game, aside from Caliban having floating cheerleaders who can't dance..

    The funniest thing is that the ability to summon weaksauce sentient guys is called "LETHAL progeny"
    I'm pretty sure those sentient summons have never killed anyone, ever.

      It's pretty easy to just give them enough damage to kill stuff, like last night I put nourish on him then they killed a few guys from my observations (i was on sp mot)

      They can if you armor strip, and Caliban can do it but these sentient bros are slow af so isn't viable :(
      I mean... even Xaku can't do sh.t in SP unless you use Gaze first

    Caliban is just a painful reminder of how much the Sentients (my favourite faction) have become an afterthought in Warframe.

      Fully agreed. It genuinely pisses me off that DE abandoned the sentient faction after the new war, even though they are still a threat through Narmar. The sentients have always been the most interesting faction, awith the most prettiest, appealing designs and sounds. I want more sentients, sentient weapons and sentient warframes. I pray that at some point we get to go to Tau and see whats going on there and get more sentient based content.
      Hell, my favorite weapon is the Shedu, and im so upset that the gun (at least from all th e work ive been trying to put into it) can barely do Steelpath content. And it really pisses me off that its power crept and made worthless by the Bubonico (and soon that Arm cannon Incarnon DE showed)
      it also got me into arm cannons as a whole. Please buff my beloved Shedu, or give me more cool sentient weapons.
      Oh yeah! And another thing DE absolutely abandoned when the with the sentients: The amalgams. Give us more from them too! Why are they also thrown aside? Its such a cool concept!

      I remember the first time they were released though. When I fought them wayy back in the second dream quest when that update came out not too long ago they were ridiculously tanky to kill and now they are pretty much a joke

    A few bug things:
    - Caliban's ultimate Fallout Zone effect does not render if you are a client. So that's a problem.
    - Caliban's ultimate is supposed to have a vacuum effect. It used to just have the knockback on his release, but when everyone pointed out that that was stupid for what it was, DE made the knockback the Hold effect and added a vacuum effect for the default activation. However, they seem to have missed a zero... or two... on the strength of the effect, because instead of being vacuumed, enemies hit just sort of awkwardly shift a foot and fall over.
    - Sentient Wrath suffers from the same bug that Valkyr's Prolonged Paralysis does, where it seems to have one of the lowest animation priorities in the game, and any proc or effect that triggers an animation overwrites it and causes the effect to end prematurely. I do not understand why these effects don't work like Rhino's Stomp, where enemies can be shot with heat or electricity without causing them to pop onto their feet a frame later and keep shooting you.
    QOL things/Suggestions:
    - Fusion Strike DESPERATELY needs a base casting speed increase.
    - Fusion Strike's Fallout Zone should have its visibility increased, because it can be difficult to see even when you're allowed to see it by being a Host.
    - His summon ability should summon all three at once, or the duration on the summons should be increased. Bump up the energy cost if necessary. It's frustrating to have to recast it so much.
    - Caliban's passive should stack multiplicatively with Adaptation. There's no reason for it to not.
    - Whatever the replacement for his 1 could be - because good lord there is no saving that ability - it should have some form of built-in shield restore to help kickstart the regeneration you get from his 3.
    Those are my general thoughts I've had since his release. It's a decent start.

      Only thing I would say about your proposal to Lethal Progeny, is that being able to spam cast them allows for auger mod synergy with his shield regen. Especially when using negative efficiency and Nourish, which unfortunately is the subsume I’ve found works best with him. If Nourish gets nerfed then he’s gonna need a lot of help. There’s no saving his one. Even if it did damage it’d be inefficient in comparison to other things and you’d have to stop to cast his long 4 anyways. CC on his 2 shouldn’t be easily overridden, and there shouldn’t be an enemy cap. Def agree with your changes for his 4. Stronger vacuum on it could be incredible, especially if it stayed after detonation. Lethal Progeny summons need to be better is the biggest thing. If they did more then it’d open up more build possibilities with other subsumes as well. Otherwise he ends up as just worse Nekroz

      I actually play Caliban. BUT... I do agree on what you said. His passive IS useless as it is, and his first ability is really bad. Now... the Lethal Progeny... yes they can't kill anything, but also they can't die... and brain dead enemies as they are, they attack the closest enemy... and brain dead lethal progeny as is, will attack and charge at enemy, so it does give room for player to shoot enemies and not to be attacked as much.
      BUT... I think he needs rework AND easier way to get him. HE ALSO NEEDS some story. I mean, many players are not even aware of his existance. There is no story, no quest, no talk about him. Nothing. he was litterally thrown after the New War update, without context. DE talked about him like... 5 min on one stream and that was it

      The fact that the Sentient Warframe doesn't deal Tau or True damage with its abilities blows my mind. I was really hoping Caliban would be some sweet fusion tech, like the Archons.

    imagine if caliban could summon three different types of sentients, with one of them being those with the deadly laser beams, or maybe the ones with the shield that we find in railjack missions, each one of them with a unique passive that we can cycle through like voruna's 4 passives. i think his kit is so mediocre specially when you take in consideration how much of a pain he is to farm, only his 4th ability is truly powerful, which is really bad for a warframe, the only worse thing than that is inaros (which guess what, is getting a rework soon)

      The problem is that his concept wasn't unique enough. He is a sentient based warframe which is very similar to revenant. Yarelli suffers the same fate due to her being a bit similar to Hydroid (but worse in every way thanks to Hydroid's rework). Not to mention that his farm is very grindy. I tried to grind for his parts but just gave up.

      @@Voidstroyer Thing is his actual abilities are basically just an Eidolons. Even down to the textures and sounds they use. A Sentient Frame should have revolved around exploiting weaknesses and adapting.

      @@Voidstroyer Yareli and Hydroid are not similar at all. Yareli is primarily a surfer with ideas surrounding her being currents, whirlpools, bubbles. You know, fun and playfulness. She has a personaility. Hydroid is first and foremost a pirate. The water theme comes afterwards with the focus being more on corrosion, plundering (as a pirate does), and krakens. Not fun or playful at all.
      That's like saying Ivara and Loki have similar identities because they both can go invisible like whattt

      Honestly I do like the idea of swapping his 1 and 2 out for different summons to make him into the main summoner frame. Maybe move his 3 to his one since the cost is wacky for what you get and perhaps change the other two powers to be summoning some of the shield boys to be more proper tanks and the heal fly boys while having all summons provide buffs

    I just want ONE thing from caliban: When you have his summons out and use his abilities the sentients mimic your actions. they spin with your 1, they stomp with you and they shoot lasers with your 4.

      Thanks for the motivation bro. Caliban is such a cool warframe when You know how to use it. It always comes down to how to handle and control the warframe by each of the players to its full potential.

    I feel like Caliban should invoke the same sense of fear that Hunhow does. A monstrous eidolon known for destroying and devouring planets that took a whole army of tenno to take down.
    Caliban should be the single most adaptable frame in the game tbh, make his first ability inflict damage vulnerability, make sentient wrath increase and spread that vulnerability, make the sentients he summons actually good, and speed up the animation on his 4th.

    fusion strike's aoe needs better visibility b/c it can stack.
    his first ability will get him killed and his 2nd has a max targets cap on top of the wild yeet.
    his third's sentient's don't scale with enemy level, and are currently only good for the split second they restore his shields b/c their melee damage is more like a sneeze on most high level enemies.
    This is all coming from a player who loves his design.

      Had those Sentients all beat down an Acolyte and pile on him pretty quick w/ high strength, Viral inherited from Nourish and defense strip from his Fusion Strike. Still useless but it was amusing to watch.

      His 1 needs to just either be reworked, replaced, or buffed all the way to Tau with scaling damage, lifesteal based healing, and a less janky control scheme for spinning faster versus leaping. His 2 should keep targets uncapped and not break when a second ragdoll is applied with sufficient force, and keep enemies in place or leave them susceptible to the fusion pull. His 3 just needs level scaling. 4 is fine, but could use more actual damage (hell with it, just scale it all, it's not like Vauban's 3 is known for being OP) and better visibility, with maybe a stronger pull. And his passive should either stack with Adaptation or be equivalent to it for him specifically. Preferably the first, because Baruuk DR does that.

      @@FelisImpurrator it wouldn't be too op for his passive to be regular adp for himself then 50% for allies, considering the time investment from a player to sink into his farm and when the player would unlock him. (it was made slightly faster recently via permanent rotating bounties)

      I did like a little farm day by day so i dont get tired with the farming, doing something fun in between farms to make it easier and less tiring for me. It worked and now I can shred with caliban in SP, tho if you are looking for something to work around the meta, Caliban isn't your frame to go

      I hope youre not implying that Gyre is bad, cause the only true buddy he has is Inaros in that camp.
      Even if you dont mean that...Gyre barely spins. Her moves dont have her spin at least.
      ....all im saying is is that Gyre is really good and shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as those two lol

    Honestly, give Leathel Prodginey the ability to be modded and it probably be better. Hell, make them like companions similar to Venari but weaker to accommodate for the three of them.

    With near-future dev focus seeming to be on the Inaros rework, I at least hope that some crazy Augment mod will come out for Caliban that makes even 1 ability absolutely busted. A future rework I’d like to see would be either summoning different types of sentients, summoning way more than just 3 sentients, or having a pool of Archon abilities to use as an ability. As it stands now, my Caliban is just for fashion, lingering defense strip, and meme melee lift builds.

      He basically does have an archon ability -his ult- since it's the same 3-beam animation that Boreal uses during his fight

    As a huge fan of Caliban, I'm hoping this gets some traction. I found out about this by a fantastic tweet thread that gave honestly a dream rework for him! I feel like he should be strong considering the time at which you can finally get him - he should be worth the grind if it's gonna be that rough!

    I'd like to see his Lethal Progeny reworked as a sort of mobile version of Wisp's Reservoirs ability. Three summons that provide some sort of buff to the party or set up some sort of DOT damage you could then build from.

      I do like this idea. Maybe boost the summon cap to 6 and have the sword boys provide a damage buff with quick but small amounts of shield, one of the shield boys who provide a defensive buff while being far better at drawing agro, and one of the healing bird boys who give a support buff. as for the other 2 powers... I have no idea maybe pull a xaku and make him the summoner tau damage frame? Give tau damage some kinda effect and make his one either a quick spin dealing it or go hard on the copy and make it a damage buff.

      Same with his 3rd. Nekros Shadows, Nyx's Mind Control & Chaos, none of which are known for their lethalness and yet that is obviously meant to be his greatest asset to synergize with. Slow animations, low range, dumb AI and extremely low damage. Even when you full armor strip a grineer lancer (without Steel Path modifiers), 3 sentinel buddies can not kill a 200 level Grineer in the time (45 seconds) they have alive. It's pathetic.

    Some suggestions I’d have for caliban listed here
    1. Remove his one and turn it into the sky high disco ball the other sentients are known for
    2. Sentient wrath should chain all enemies hit to be primed with explosive tau dmg (nova/kullervo combo) allowing for an explosive ring of dmg.
    3. Change the sentient summons to different sentient types caliban can choose from (3 different ones). Alternatively. Keep the current ones but when using the new 1 ability they make a formation together and float around as laser discos.
    4.increase his passive to adaptation level but remove the teamwide buff
    5. Remove shields completely instead having majority armor instead of hp so imagine say 650 base hp with valkyr prime levels of armor.
    6. With this converted hp pool the sentients summoned now instead grant armor or health regen.
    Augment ideas for this revised kit:
    Hunhows apostle: lethal progeny no longer summons 3 sentients instead summoning 1 ropalyst (Yareli sized) that is tanky and completely takes all aggro in affinity range while granting a weapon buff instead of regen. (Duration, strength)
    Ballad of ballas: sentient wrath grants armor, and permanent 25 health per enemy hit (max of 1,000 scaled by strength).
    Tau forged wrath: calibans radiation field can invigorate his Allies (including summons) Allies receive a radiation weapon buff of 45% and a dmg buff of 25%. Summons are granted new abilities dmg reduction and mark targets for increased vulnerability.
    Well those were my personal hopes to see in caliban, I do see the biggest spark of potential in a sentient warframe like caliban, I was a massive enjoyer of revenant ever since he realessed so I hope caliban can get a rework similar to what I’ve suggested.

    The companion i believe should possibly have been one or two of the shield with shedu arm sentients or maybe the regular gun arm ones,the melee ones i believe was a very stupid idea in the first place

    Rework is Spin and Make it so his summons do the same thing as Sentients on Lua , The Dancing Laser lights to really buff em up and have em also have the same buffs that the Lua sentient gets , like Damage adaptation and proper scaling to even have a reason to make really good use of em..

    Great video once again. The grind for Caliban is what keeps me away. I wish DE would have Warframe quests similar to Citrine. You had to do one thing to get her and, if RNG was not with you, the work you were doing earning shards allowed you to eventually buy her from Loid. That was the best farm for a new Warframe in a very long time.
    Respecting the player's time looks like: "Do this, get this." It's the same thing as working; "Come here for 8 hours a day and get paid X." Sure, some days are going to be harder than others but other days will be easier than others. But no matter what, at the end of the day, you know you've earned X. The quest for Citrine respected players' time in a way no recent quest for a Warframe has done in a very long time.
    That said, Nyx needs some love. Her 4 is fine with the augment (and should be reworked to do that without needing an augment) but her psychic bolts should be a cone similar to Styanax's 2. Her 1 (Mind Control) only works on 1 target while other frames can control up to 7 (Revenant) and Chaos, while nice on paper, isn't the kind of CC that's helpful in a mission since you either have to stand around waiting for them to kill each other or risk breaking the ability because you get too close and they start attacking you again. Her concept is great but she has not aged well and has been left out to pasture which is sad for a once mighty frame.

      Her 4 sucks. I tried max efficiency, full tau yellow energy orb buff, everything. Once enemies get past 200-250 (not hard on sp) she goes from full to empty in like 10 secs of sustained fire. Primed flow too

      @@jeremiahjohnson2784 Wait, I wouldn't say her 4 "sucks" just because it can't tank level 200-250 enemies. Most people, myself included, aren't going hard like that in SP. And if so, they (and I) would absolutely bring a different frame. My comment and praise for Nyx is for normal stuff that most people are doing.
      Some in the Warframe community seem ready to write off every frame/weapon that can't do 8-hour SP Survival runs when I would wager most WF players aren't going hard like that.

    I just wish his sentients scaled from the mission/enemy level rather than ability power. I want to be able to go full summoner with him 🥺 I'm really hoping the 11 augments coming with Dante at least includes 2 for Caliban.

    Glad you are giving this frame a voice!
    Making him more accessible or more useful would be great, but at the very least DE should give him a skin and an augment.
    He came out in 2021. Sty, Gyre, and Voruna each came out in 2022 and all have augments. Sty is even getting his deluxe skin. Caliban only has the 1 alternate helmet that came with him on release(Sty has like 3!).

      given how much I hate how DE treats Augments in warframe. I dont want augments for caliban.
      If a warframe requires an augment in their kit for them to be effective, or for the ability to be valuable. It should be apart of their kit.
      A few examples - If you want to use voruna's 4th ability. you need the augment. If you dont have the augment, Helminth the ability.
      If you want to use frost in higher level content, you need his 4th augment.
      everyone uses dispoil for Nekros
      If you want to use harrow effectivly in a nuke squad, you need the augment that allows allies to give their kills 50% effectiveness (why is this an augment and not apart of his kit)
      Warframes should be capable of using their entire kit with the helminth and augments as secondary options, and a question of "do I want to sacrifice (mod slot/ability) for this (Augment/ Helminth ability)
      And not "This ability is bad, what do I replace it with/This ability needs an augment for me to use it"
      I think an example of good augment are: Mirage's eclipse, Ivara's prowl and tripwire , Stynax's 4th"
      Mirage's eclispe is designed to be a strong, self afflicting ability. So you sacrifice a modslot so allies can get the eclipse effect with a limited range around you.
      For ivara, you dont need her prowl or tripwire augments. But if you're doing aspy mission. you can use the augment, but you dont require it.
      For her tripwire. If you have a good weapon build, it isnt required. But if you add it, then you plan to play very stationary (defense, camping survival)
      and for stynax, you dont need the augment for his 4th ability to be amazing (I think, I dont play stynax. But ive never heard a complaint from his kit), but adding it allows you to make yourself, and your team durable as hell.
      With how DE have handled bad abilities band Augments, I genuinely feel that: If DE makes an augment for caliban. (and most frames) it should just be intigrated into their kit as is.
      I say this in hopes Caliban gets a good rework, and all future frames that ever get reworked or gets augments are treated better. As to me this is a huge problem, with how the Helminth and augments have been treated as bandaid fixes instead of fixing the problem

      @@mutexgamex4285 Caliban is very effective. His 1 is garbage, but his 2 has significant crowd control and damage boost, his 3 helps with survivability even in higher sp stuff, and his 4 is one of the best armor strips, it can leave a large cloud that strips anything that enters.
      An augment could open up different gameplay, like mirages mines.

      If the augment is required for the ability to be used (voruna's forth is the most recent example)
      Then I think id be better if the augment was already in their kit.
      taking an example from the comments:
      "When caliban casts his 1st. His sentients cast it too, with scaling damage the more damage any of you deal." (Now presuming this augment is actually good)
      "why *shouldnt* you add this augment to every build?"
      If you dont, that means you're already helminth'd his 1st ability. Which goes against what the Helminth and Augments stand for (to me at least)
      Imagine for a moment we're back when Hildren was being made. remember how quickly everyone trashed her due to how shields worked? Imagine if that was true.
      Hildren had 1000 shields, but due to how shields worked. They were absolutely trash
      And then DE adds an augment for pillage that "When you cast pillage, when you get overshields.when your shields break, you're immune to damage for 3 seconds, and the armor of the frame applies to your shields" (the augment is shieldgating basiclly)
      In this hypothetical, worse Hildeen during the pre shieldgating world. See how bad that is/ Why shouldnt the shield gating augment be apart of hildren's kit?
      And if the shieldgate augment did exist. Why shouldnt it be in ever single build? Hildren would be worthless without it. (as we were predicting when she was being made)
      Given DE have ben treating augments as bandaid fixed for bad abilities (which it seems like they're treating helminth as a (bad warframe ability fixer too)
      I dont want caliban to have augments. I just want him to be an amazing frame. And then add an augment to add a quirky spin) Like his sentient ability spawning one big power house sentient. A tanky lad or somthing. (but after they fix his kit as a whole)
      (also, if theres any errors in this, im sorry. It takes entire seconds to muinites for any keystroke I do to be updated, so this takes forever to write out)

      @@mutexgamex4285 Those are a few examples of things im not arguing against. Many frames have at least one augment that significantly elevates the frame. I dont think a frame should need an augment as a bandaid, i agree with you there.
      My example with mirage is that she has several high end very popular playstyles without any augments at all, but her Legerdemain augment lets her do a completely different playstyle.
      I think if we dip into the territorry of expecting every ability and passive for every frame to be balanced by DE then our expectations will never be met. The helminth system allows us to have control over that and work around any ability that doesnt fit our idea of optimal.
      There are many frames where they dont need an augment and their abilities are fine and dont need to be helminthed. But i would never expect that from every frame.
      If im being honest im using nourish, one of the biggest bandaids in the game atm, in calibans 1. Its energy lets him spam 2 and 4, and his sentients will proc the viral aoe when hit which makes priming a room with several stacks of viral very quick and easy.
      Wouldnt mind a rework of his 1 so its more viable, or anaugment, or anything. I just want him to get some attention because hes being overlooked for years now.

      I just hate how DE have been treating Augments and bad abilites lately as "bad ability fixers" instead of just fixing the problem.
      Expessily when the community most of the time have very good ideas and ways to fix these problems. Though its hard to tell if this is all happening because of DE, or a higher up.
      Lets just hope the Helminth/Augment bandaid fixing days end soon before every warframe with a bad/undercooked ability needs and augment to use a part of their kit. Or throw it away in the helminth

    Id increase his drop rate, Id give him adaptive damage and resistance at a flat rate of 50% as a passive or a triggered ability. Meaning regardless of faction he his facing he will negate half their damage and deal 50% more of the damage that the faction he is facing is vulnerable to.
    Id also negate his forced movement and have his summons share his adaptive damage and resistance ability but only at a flat rate of 25%.

    So i thought about this day be4 yesterday actually...it would be dope to have his sentients modded like Atlas 4...OR make them exalted so that we could mod them appropriately
    Also change the functions of each sentient...instead of all 3 doing all 3...give each one a role...one for damage one for defense and one for support...cycle thru which one u want to call at a max of 3 (one of each)
    Stomp...instead of lifting enemies, it could keep enemies in place like harrows one or slow them
    His 1 supposed to be his survivability...scale that and let heal sentients as well

    I'm not very active anywhere on the internet but these types of videos from you, are a personal fav of mine. I only seen a few but I have no idea if you make any more of them. Sure hope so. They feel like a little documentary about both good and bad things of a frame. Now about Caliban.. I got nothing to say about his grind as I got him through a friend in my clan. But I realized adter a couple of weeks, that he felt a bit awkward. I do believe he needs some tweaking done on his set though. Anyways Splendid job on the video, tater. As always!

    I think if you changed his laser to his first ability, I’ve always felt like it was a first or third ability type of attack, changed his third to buff(more adaptation or adaptable damage buff perhaps) and made his lethal progeny his ultimate and it summons a small army of scalable sentient types he could be very interesting. His summons being his ultimate means thru can be significantly more powerful and varied as well as feeling like an ultimate ability because I’ve always found his 4 feels a little underwhelming as an ult. It’s just armor strip the beam. Most fours feel impactful or powerful in some way but when the only reason to use the ultimate is to armor strip it just feels more like a 1 or a 3 kind of ability

    I think caliban's third ability would probably function better if they just targeted what your always targeting, kind of like how citrine's third ability works. They definitely need to do more damage and should choose what type of sentients you summon, that would be nice. His first ability just needs to get an actual damage increase that would make it work. If they can do at for hydroid they can do it for caliban.

    Mag's 4th ability also removes 100% defenses (with the augument mod) AND both replenishes your shields AND crowd controls enemies... so yeah, he can't really compete xD

    One quick fix they could apply to lethal progeny is to just make it so that instead of walking from enemy to enemy they instead just teleport and also just have them constantly in an attacking state that way they can be consistent

    i uses nyx for sister and lich kill mission, simply because the chaos bolt augment. i would say is probably the easiest thing to set up for new players for lich and sister show downs.

    I would like Sentient Wrath lift enemies upright since damage vulnerability and CC are good. I'd make the first ability into a grouping tool, so when you spin to win, instead of dps, it pulls enemies in and drops them where in front of you when you release it. and I'd actually make his 3 spawn Vomvalysts that focus on shielding you and following you so that they don't die for their duration and just shield you. I'd also tweak his acquisition

    I can imagine de naming the augment mod for his 3rd be lethal company. But besides that haha, his 1 needs to go straight up, his 2 would be good if enemies didn't fly off his 3 should have different sentience ones that are more useful, his 4 needs some visual buffs (and maybe the vortex thats supposed to happen gets buffed too)

    Dang didn’t think anyone would beat Nyx since I’ve seen her the least played for sometime. I’ve used him here and there, some during SP mission on Grineer missions, especially on Hijack since (to me) god tier since with Lethal Progney going (and not getting shot), I can stand on the objective and never lose my shields; except when it has the null bubbles on it, then have to get off and regen my overshield and hope back on.
    I do agree on the farming since I bought mine when I got a 75% coupon (on Xbox) after seeing how to farm him. I feel the Narmer Isoplast should get 1 for completing a bounty and be able to get them as rewards since other than Caliban, his and archon melee weapons need a lot of them. Maybe they could replace Razor Gyre with the ability to fly since most Sentients can; maybe kinda like Archwings but not as fast and this would synergize with Fusion Strike hovering to aim (or nuke enemies with our weapons).

    need his sentients to be better and cooler and maybe surround him and protect him but also scale with level of mission all the way to end cap if they don’t already and turn him more into a pet frame and make his one buff the sentients and increase their damage output and like you said make the stomp give a damage buff and group the enemies so the sentients can charge them when you pop your 4th for the armor strip so they all blow the enemies sky high that would be ideal

    His passive should to be boosted by power strength, up to 90%.
    His 1 needs a vaccum effect, his summons also use the ability and the heal is either increased or directed towards the player. Damage type shifted to Tau.
    His 2 increases affected enemies target priority.
    His 3 summons variants, melee with knockback, ranged with AOE or support with shield/health restore. Each type gives a secondary function to the others. (Augment) all 3 are summonable at once, 1 of each type/3 of one type.
    His 4 has increased visibility, each beam pushes enemies towards the central point/knocks them down.
    They would make him more powerful rather than being underpowered. Powercreep is real in Warframe.

    here's what I'd do to buff him:
    1. Razor Gyre is now further scaled by the mele weapon, hitting enemies at the same tick rate and boosted by melee range. This would swap to melee and add combo.
    2. Lethal Progeny summons Battalysts instead of Conculysts. Not only for ranged attacks, but they have the spinning laser attack. Maybe toggled between the two, since the laser spin is stationary, and Conculysts could stay with you. For better scaling, current mission level is the baseline for the summoned sentient level.

    Really, I love the frame. I've been using volt because I can't seem to get the Sister shiny look to drop, going on 19+ and still nothing to show for it. May RNG stop hating me. But really, fun frame, has summons (a little spammy), a laser (sure, crap damage), an aoe ground pound (love using it), and a spin thing to heal (ok, that needs love),

    I’ve been playing caliban for a few weeks now. I love his aesthetic. His abilities have a token synergy. He can use his 2 during his spinning 1 to deal extra damage, but the damage doesn’t compensate for losing access to weapons, and struggles to get kills even with high strength. His abilities could use some synergy, and I’d love his abilities to be useable while moving.
    In my experience, the sentient summons are useful enough. They survive reasonably well even on steel path. I see them slapping enemies frequently enough, but a distraction and shield recharge is definitely their main function.
    Speaking of, caliban survives very well with that recharge. Power strength can ramp him into overshields easily, allowing him to benefit from effects that require overshields. I agree that his 4 is fine, though as I said, I’d like to use it while moving. I dont think he’s bad. He’s effective, just a bit clunky to use.

    I subsumed Caliban and put his ability on Wisp as a flex. Its fun in combination with breach Surge, and also is a great team-blinder. I happened to have a bunch of anomaly shards on-hand since I really like Railjack and played a lot over the years. Maybe his grind should be looked at, because that is a high ask for what he ends up being. He's as useful as a carpeted swimming pool.

    I've gotten him to work for a certain amount of high-level stuff, but his Razor Gyre and Lethal Progeny definitely need changes.
    I'd include bits from the Battalyst Sentients since he already has Conculysts. Maybe include Symbilysts as well. He should feel like each flavor of basic Sentient in my mind.

    What if his Sentients wrath stomp suspended enemies and while suspended if you would hit them with his 4 it drags them akin to Qorvex's wall or just have his 4 do it on it own OR make the stomp go out suspending enemies and then come back dragging them into the centre.
    Rework his summons to be like Wisps motes or vaubans grenades where you can cycle and choose.
    Have a melee one that regens health.
    Ranged that deal damage and have a high DPS unique attack.
    Defensive that have defensive shields and regen yours and allies shields.
    Have his one either actually do damage or rework it completely. Another ability idea could be a buff like Xatas but give you adaptive damage (Like Revenants 4 where it's the enemies weakness) on weapons. This could be a channel, Duration or a summoned Vomvalyst for aesthetic reason only.

    For the gameplay fantasy of Caliban, I think he needs multiple types of summon that do distinct things - and they need to be at least as powerful as Wisp's Motes in terms of instant-gratification. The rest of his kit just being buffed to being functional is fine - give his Razer Gyro an enemy-level scaling and we're peachy.
    The Sentient faction has lots of choices. He could summon Medusalysts turrets and Immunodes that grant invulnerability. Make his Conculysts actually hurt, or swap them for the melee unit that actually has mobility. Have them cast their Danse Macarbe whenever he's casting Razer Gyro. Just something that makes you feel powerful while using your Lethal Progeny.

    Even his 4 is slightly slow considering the fact it's not that big a radius, but that's still a great ability to have so you can have a defense strip while keeping Helminth for something else.
    (+They nailed how it feels to use) As for AI, maybe just give them uses that don't rely on good AI instead. Let's say they can mark any enemy within a radius and they prioritize tankier ones, and just as an example, maybe it debuffs enemies alongside a DoT that gradually climbs in dmg like Saryn's spores or heat procs?
    As for Loki btw., what if he became like a mini Speed Nova without the main downside by means of simply teleporting enemies within a large radius to a point?

    Caribana rework:
    1st ability needs to jive with his second. Either it draws them in and causes a damage multiplier.
    2nd ability needs to be more like lantern where they levitate in place.
    3rd ability they need to give overshield/overguard and armor.
    4th ability cast speed needs boosting.
    Maybe creating a synergy between his abilities could help significantly, like having 1 & 2 active gives crit multiple, and status chance boosts.
    Casting 3 causes aggro redirection, then casting 1 pulls them all in with the bantalist.
    Honestly the only reason I don't play Caliban much, if at all is because he has no synergy. He has great concepts to his abilities, but they feel like throwing wet paper at an oil rig fire.

    Better summon AI and damage. A toggle to switch between different sentiments. Add some synergy between his summons and his abilities. Like maybe when Fusion Strike ends the summons pulse with the same effect, increasing the effective range. Maybe when you spin your summons gather around you and spin.

    Itd be nice to be able to mod his sentients like companions. On one hand you could build them for simple attack and survivability so they can actually deal damage, on the other the new Bond mods that are all the rage for companions now could find a home on Lethal Progeny IF they also receive a reliable way to deal damage, even something as simple as Dethcube's Vaporize beam.
    I think that as much as making tweaks to his 1 and 2 is a good idea, it is Lethal Progeny that has the most potential for a rework, and my suggestion is just the simplest one. We could easily make the 3 sentients not time-based, make them different types of sentients, give them new utility, more damage, etc. The only problem is tuning them to not become 3 Wukong's clones and turning Caliban into THE most braindead warframe in the game right now.

    His 1 need a rework, other 3 abilities are passable with with some minor tweaks. I'd make his 1 just do the dash with the spin, healing and dealing damage. His 2 need to hold enemies better in place like improved Titania's Lantern does now. Dashing with 1 still makes them explode. His 3 either call 3 dudes all at once, summon Batalysts instead (ranged discoball of doom ones) or make Conculysts damage scale of melee mods. Dashing with 1 makes them all spin and summon to your location. Fusion strike is fine, other than maybe a little cast time reduction.

    i get what they were going with Caliban's 1, its his version of revenants 4 and its the melee sentient version so its way worse. hell his stomp is just revenants passive for when his shield break. they both represent the eidolon stomp. my though is simple make him more focused on his summons and attach them to his passive. he has his weaker adaptation unless his summon is out with that adaptation when it at that point he can naturally go to 90% and it locks there for as long as his progeny has that resistance , make lethal prodigy instead him swapping out what kind of sentient he is using. he make it so we can mod the progeny like an exalted companion but it takes mecha mods.

    to be honest i think what he needs is a 1 replacement, his other 2 abilities can be buffed and tweaked into excellent places but his 1 really just doesnt have a place. Id replace it with some sort of adaptive damage ability that changes its damage output (like the reactive storm augment for baruuk but as a base kit) make it low damage but give it status chance as a way to make up for it. suddenly you would have an easy way to deal with most if not all faction types.

    Lethal Progeny needs general buffs and for his other abilities to buff the summons. Like using his 4 briefly lets the summons use his 4 as well so they can strip armor.

    I haven’t played warframe in about 2 years. I do remember farming for this frame though. I don’t recall it being long or tedious back then.

    Caliban brings more to a squad than annoyances like Grendel eating everything, and the lingering strip zone is useful in the right missions. He just needs a usable 1 and better 3 AI.

    To start they could give him tau damage type for all his attacks. Make Tau damage have a proc by:
    1. **Tau Damage:**
    - *Description:* Exclusive to Sentient enemies, Tau damage bypasses conventional defenses.
    - *Properties:* No damage modifiers against any health or armor type.
    - *Status Effects:* Adapt autonomously based on the attributes of the enemy hit.
    - *Corrosive:* Against armored enemies.
    - *Magnetic:* Against shielded enemies.
    - *Gas:* Against enemies with Infested Flesh.
    - *Bonus:* Applies to Caliban's abilities and sentient weapons like Basmu, Shedu, Venato, and similar.
    This addition makes it clear that the bonus effect is specific to Caliban's abilities and certain sentient weapons, enhancing the understanding of how Tau damage interacts with gameplay elements.
    Then give him different sentients. One the battalyst, 2 the symbolyst( Lance and shield), and 3 being the one that's a sniper or whatever.
    Change his passive to give him 90% resist and storage. Taking the damage dealt to him and its types, storing it and releasing it with his 1,2 or 4 along with tau damage. Do this and you're done fixing caliban. Well fix the floating as well ofcourse.

    I actually built him pretty alright, Gauss has always been my main guy but when I just wanna have inefficient fun I run a max Strength/energy regen/range build Corvax to blast the battlefield like the forth if july

    It'd be cool if his kit was focused on scaling and enhancing his 'lethal progeny' since I think summoning sentients (in concept) is pretty neat. Warframe kinda lacks a dedicated summoner frame. Though I haven't really gotten the chance to play him because narmer isoplast is a bitch to farm.

    its honestly just the Isoplasts for me, i have everything i need except those Isoplasts with everytime i see i need 40 (or 80) and i just get turned off instantly. i would start there, cut the amount needed in half or improve the drop rate or the amount gained or both

    I would love for them to turn him into the first true summoning frame. Where every skill summons a different sentient on hold, and a tap alternative to buff or cross buff specific summons. We have revenant and xaku who turn enemies, but none who are dedicated to summoning allies. GOOD allies, looking at you, nekros

    Delete his 1 and ultimate
    Maybe make his 1 shooting sentient lasers companion following you like xakus's weapons? His ult an overdrive of sentient energy for his pets him and allies that make everyone go crazy for a short duration decaying over time ? Rndom ideas
    Give the ultimate defense reduction effect to his 2 and delete the enemy cap on it.
    Make a new ult that is less akward to use (the long cast, the invisible zone, the fact the vaccume is inexistant...) and that will work in real synergy with his new 1.
    Fixing the AI of the summoned sentients and summoning them 3 at once with combined actual duration so you dont have to summon them every 30 sec.
    If they do these im 100% sure caliban will skyrocket because it's sound design is quite nice.

    The frame I have worked to get crap ton of power strength but the level of the summons it sucks to be honest they should give him the power to call any sentient or the power to give them a gun or have them be customized and or most definitely either remove level or have there level scaling with the mission

    I hear you loud and clear but it's crazy that Caliban is my literal main frame. I haven't dived into the game ever since they've added so much more to the game however I know that I've dumped at least 4 forma into him.

    Been watching your stuff for yrs now. Got kinda dumb question and figured u were best to ask. So ive played warframe on xbox and recently had to get new laptop for work so got steam and got warframe. Been trying to get my warframe xbox account/saves in lap top cause cross save is suppose to be a thing now but its not working. Any tips?

    Well I am main caliban player and 1 ability need some gas in it or just make it able while chaneling to use all different ability and add % of heal as per damage when charging, last ability will be nice to have damage per sec buff and rest are ok in my opinion.
    I like pople thinking for his 3 ability to swap between a diffrent variant of sentients, if is needed well I don't know but I will not say 'no' if i can have more power in that bad boy.
    Dev said about aguments mod in upcoming release, lets hope that caliban have some as well.

    Tried Caliban in the circuit and found that although his abilities were cool, they just didn't hit the mark and I felt quite weak. Found his 2 actually most useful because of the cc. His 4 although great, actually got me killed because of his long cast time, but this is also because his 3 can't keep me alive. And, as discussed, his 1 does no damage.
    Granted this was all tested in steel path circuit. I think caliban just needs some tweaks to at least his first 3 abilities and he'll be a really fun frame that feels strong.
    His 3 needs the most work though.

    Calibans gyre should pull enemies in, makes sense seeing you can use your 2 while in the gyre

    Id like to see lethal progeny be made to only ranged sentients that stay near you so you can actually benefit the shield regen properly, or alternatively make the shield tegen range way bigger because nothing sucks more than losing one of them because they cant keep up with you. Its also insane thats its 3 casts that have a long animation that cost a lot of energy

    I say make the sentients scale with strength, efficiency, and duration. Then change the first ability to something like other sentient abilities and you can cycle thru them like Ivara can with the bow and arrow.

    Give the sentients the same abilities when Caliban casts its 1/2/4. Remove the 1 and give something like an adaptability buff and let the 2 group when casting with sentients up.
