If you watch the reload at 2:54 the dude uses his support hand to smack the round down into the magazine so it doesn't eject a live round when he tops the rifle off... that's crazy attention to detail on the developer's part...
The game is about map control, and so kills aren't as useful as taking control of the map with your own garrisons while removing the enemies. If your an SL, you have a lot of abilities and power to help inform and support your WHOLE TEAM by relaying information and marking targets. A lot of the time I spend as an SL I hardly ever shoot my gun, but I do make sure to update my OP and usually build a garrison as soon as I can when needed. Recon Spotter Is a different bag, and your job is really to be behind the lines looking for the enemies garrisons, and spotting tanks for your armor.
trust me its had its fair share of influx of call of duty and battlefieled players, have you played recently lmao complete chaos but, i still love it, alot of matches arent what they used to be tho

And if you want arcade just play Battlefield. Waste of 30€ when I bought it. Moving is floaty non realistic, ballistic non realistic, clusterfk maps with no real cover and many other things. Too much hype for such an average game. Communication is NOT the key to win at all. If anyone thinks it is... u never played Squad (again).

Shit when you mentioned about toesies getting wet and cold not being simulated you're right that is something that games should totally add. Like a debuff, for a certain amount of time, in speed and stamina regen when your feet are wet and maybe if fully immersed in water stamina actually depletes. Make people think twice about taking a quick dunk in the water.
This is the first game I've seen that has an animation of you holding the bullet in if you're reloading with bullets already in your bolt action rifle. Because if they didn't do that, an unspent round would come out. That's neat.
