  • I would be honored with your subscription. This is a follow up video from the unboxing of my Grayl press water filter. I am excited to test it out for the first time and see what the experience is like. I chose a section of the Eno River in Durham, North Carolina, that has clear moving water.
This is a fantastic option for extended expeditions where you may not be able to boil your water while on the trail. As you can see from the video, I definitely need practice on how to use this. Any advice you have, please feel free to leave a comment below. Thank you for those who have already messaged about venting the cap, I will try that next time. We are on this journey together!

Good morning!! Great testing! I get it, always a bit nervous when trying a filter system for the first time! lol
Like you, I have one of the Grayl’s too, but just haven’t had a chance to try it yet. The concept is great for quick water on the go. However, my primary system has been Sawyer Mini. I went on a canoe trip at Lake Ouachita, AR and used the Sawyer the whole time. If you have the time, they work great!
Again, great follow up video! Take my friend!!
