- I would be honored with your subscription. This is a follow up video from the unboxing of my Grayl press water filter. I am excited to test it out for the first time and see what the experience is like. I chose a section of the Eno River in Durham, North Carolina, that has clear moving water.
This is a fantastic option for extended expeditions where you may not be able to boil your water while on the trail. As you can see from the video, I definitely need practice on how to use this. Any advice you have, please feel free to leave a comment below. Thank you for those who have already messaged about venting the cap, I will try that next time. We are on this journey together!

fun video!
Thank you Mike!
Good morning!! Great testing! I get it, always a bit nervous when trying a filter system for the first time! lol
Like you, I have one of the Grayl’s too, but just haven’t had a chance to try it yet. The concept is great for quick water on the go. However, my primary system has been Sawyer Mini. I went on a canoe trip at Lake Ouachita, AR and used the Sawyer the whole time. If you have the time, they work great!
Again, great follow up video! Take my friend!!
venting the cap will help with the filtration process
Yes! venting the cap will help with the spillage. Good video and review
You're right, thank you for your help Mike!
Absolutely, than you for the help Misty!
I hope you didn't get any minnows in there haha!
