I bought one a week ago. Had a large deep S shaped scratch in the blade. Company replaced it with a new one. Both came shockingly razor hair popping sharp. Perfect size and blade profile in my opinion. Can’t beat it for the prize. If I wasn’t married I’d buy a bunch for steak knives. 😆

I just use whatever I have in my pocket for a ball marker,,,most times I just use a tee~! lol ,,,bought these today,,,, feel so comfortable and that black mesh lets them flex without pulling on the leather etc!

I own just about all the Vulcan line. I have the Michigan axe, double bit axe, splitting maul 8 1/2 lb and the sledgehammer. I use them constantly and can tell you that they are some of the best axes I’ve ever used, especially in their respective price range. I also use Counsel tools axes and they are very high quality, but the ones from Vulcan are right up there as far as the quality goes and for much less money. The quality of the steel is on par with much higher end tools. If you ruin your handle you’d definitely want to replace it because the axe heads are such high quality pieces. I’m using them today for splitting hard cherry and it’s one of the hardest woods to split. My Vulcan 8 1/2 lb splitting maul handles it as good or better than any other. I’ve been using the Vulcan line for a few years now and have zero complaints. They make great tools.

Once connected to the car my battery pack light don’t even come on. The flash light works and it shows it’s at 100% but it doesn’t show it’s connected to car battery. Help!

Do I need to turn on somewhere in the settings to show the fish spots? Sadly it does not show it in my activity. I can see the fish spots in Garmin Explore up so it should have saved the locations.

Hi, I am an active person with an interest in triathlon and golf. Can the instinct 2x solar act like a golf watch and a triathlon watch? Also, does it work like an actual real time gold watch while playing a golf round, giving distances to the pin from your location? Also does it give laps in the swimming pool? I have this same charger and when it is powered on, the battery steadily drains at about 1% every 3 seconds with nothing connected to it. Can't use it to charge a phone or power a usb device for more than a couple minutes, then it's a brick.

Beautiful blade. Hopefully you use it a lot in the field. There might also be a warranty on it.

I usually just use the track me, and pause it if I am chilling at a certain spot, so it doesn't make a mess on the map, and this way, you can back track your EXACT course, it's really impossible to get lost this way, you can also download a course of the trail you are on if you are on a specific trail, for further redundancy, and lastly, you can save points along the trail such as questionable off shoots etc that are not clearly marked, and so you can go point to point if need be, even if you for instance fell off a cliff and needed to find your way back to the trail through a long work around, and while doing this, you could point a asmuth with "sight and go" after falling towards the marker you have on your map for the trailhead or turn, and then you could figure out a way all the way around and back up. =) Literally impossible to get lost with this amazing watch.
