When Anna tells Gunhoo to sit down, that's exactly how my mom said to me when I'm not listen to her. First, she said it very soft. If I didn't listen to her, she will make her voice more deeper, and if I still didn't listen, she get up and I run away from her and doing what she told me to do hahahaha
Oh, that's why Gunhoo and Naeun have good table manners because Anna taught them at the very early stage. I was actually impressed to see Gunhoo using spoon and fork even as a baby back then.

I love how my parents show the love towards my siblings even though I have a cancer sister that they need to focus on but I’m ok with it . Ps I’m Asian and slippers or broom are just a common thing in our house 🤣🤣 . I as a kid also admire my mother at a young age taking care of 8 children by herself while my father work day and night to search for money to feed us 8 siblings hahahahaha anyways every parents has their own way . I think is just different cultures and ways of parenting because i remember my cousin never got hit or shout at when she was being disciplined just how Anna did with Gunhoo (she was patient and calm). Instead my mother did pinch my arms really hard or hit my butt when I misbehaved and that was just her way of disciplining me
I love how they have set the languages for the parents -- the kids learn English/German/Spanish from Anna, and Korean from Jooho. In schools with English only as a secondary language, this is also how they teach young children. There are separate classes and materials for it. The brain learns to "compartmentalize" the language's rules and grammar, and with application they learn how to use it in context. At this home, the kids know what language to use for which parent/family member and master the languages because of that. Pretty cool! Also, fighting to Anna! Jooho's out of the country for work and because of COVID restrictions her family can't visit and help out with the kids in general. You're a Superwoman! :D

Generation can be factor too, your mother may be older than Anna. Who know you might have different way to raise children
