Marissa 😭 Your story of surrendering to God your will and desire for growing your family was SO TOUCHING. Thank you for sharing ❤️ JJ is such a blessing to your family and a gift from God. 👏🙌🙏
After 5 miscarriages and no children, I understand your bitterness, And then I too had to surrender - a pivotal time in my faith. Like you, We ended up with a son, Samuel - gift from God. Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing this piece of your story! Wade and I both had tears hearing your story as it aligned with ours! Loving watching your journey through some of our favourite places! Hope the smoke clears!! Hope to see you in Manitoba!
Very touching to hear Marissa talk about the awakening she experienced. I’m going through something similar right now having just turned my life over to God… Lost my wife to pancreatic cancer last December within 3 weeks of diagnosis and then in April I was diagnosed with cancer. Had surgery 4 weeks ago and will be starting chemo in about 3 weeks. I totally and completely trust what God has in store and whatever that plan is,I am most thankful to Marissa for once again sharing with all of us something a pivotal in your life. Very touching. Blessings to each of you and safe travels. Enjoy yourself and take it all in. Brad Onorato, CA
When I stopped at Mount Rushmore with my two kiddos, they were about to have a swearing in ceremony for new Americans who had accomplished the things required to become an official American citizen 🥹🥹 I bawled like a baby while my young children, 14 and 10, watched with me, without the tears of course. That was 9 years ago this summer ☀️ and feels like last year!!
This trip proves that you can RV for years , go everywhere..and back again and still enjoy the journey ! Experiencing thru the young eyes of JJ was a boost. Thank you for sharing this '2nd time around' video.
We saw you stop at Nomad View years ago, and that's how we heard about it. So when we were visiting Badlands NP we stayed there. Thanks for introducing it to us 😃👍
We did pretty much the same route that you guys did. Mitchel, Rushmore and almost died in a derecho in the cannons. But there where very few people. It was 1975 in a second hand truck camper bolted to the bed of a f350 gas hod ( 6mpg ). Loved every min and so thankful for the memories. Our daughter was 6 and to this day she always says I remember that trip. Good on you guys and thanks for the memories.
Seriously! Every moment in my life where I’ve surrendered has made room for the most spectacular blessings. Sheesh! Im a grown woman with grown kids and your testimony of surrendering to God gave me the sniffles! 😢. I needed to hear it today. That you for that.
Omg you had me in tears!!! What a story! We went through a similar one years ago and once we handed it over our “luck” changed! Love following your journeys! Be safe!
Marissa, what a beautiful and touching story. Thank you for sharing with us RV folks. I think that is when I found your RUclips channel when your son was born. Kisses and hugs to your entire family and God bless you all. Safe travels.❤️🙏🇺🇸
Marissa Thank you for sharing your story with us. The fact that you and Nathan are willing to share the intimate moments in your life wih us is why I follow you Thank you for being a weekly part of my life.
Marissa, thank you so much for sharing your pivotal point and giving everything to God. You all are truly blessed. I love watching you guys and thank you so much for sharing your life with us. God bless you all. This episode made me cry. I love you guys
My cousin has been in South Dakota for almost 25 years as a missionary on a reservation. Went to Mount Rushmore, Black Hills and also saw a play at the Black Hills Theater put on by the students from South Dakota University. Spent hours reading everything at Mount Rushmore. Also the town of Custer was fun. It was during the Black Hills rally before Sturgus.
Yosemite was always my favorite national park until we went to Glacier. We rode the motorcycle from Ohio to Montana and fell in love with Montana. About 7-8 yrs later we were lucky enough to take our Grandson out there. The joke became wherever we went, there were the Presidents watching us!
Enjoyed your video. Making family memories is so important. These times will be remembered by your kids and they'll tell them to their kids as they're making more memories.
Thank you so much for sharing your very personal moment where you let go! I was in a horrible place in my life and driving on the freeway. I was bawling my eyes out and a car came speeding past and cut in front of me. They had a bumper sticker that said, “Let go, let God”. It was a major turning point in my life.❤
I absolutely loved the story you told about surrendering to God for your wishes - who in their right mind doesn't want a beautiful child. I've been watching you since you were waiting for the RV to show up. Now, I'm from Salmon, Idaho and I was practically beaming and so excited that you were enjoying my state too. Of course I became an instant fan and love your family and the example you send to others. I see you travel a lot so I'll have lots to watch. Thank you for your channel and may God bless you always.
Great video! We took the same road trip 7 years ago from our starting point in Connecticut. 6000 miles toatl for us, round trip! Your video took us down memory lane! We hit all the same places, even stayed at St Marys KOA! Your call to faith was truly moving! So glad you had a great trip! 😊😊
Marissa, thanks for sharing your story of surrendering! I get so busy with life that I forget about those important things that need to give to him! I remember watching you guys years ago at Mount Rushmore and it feels like it wasn’t that long ago. Happy Travels!
Marissa thanks for your words. Even though you are my youngest daughter’s age I listen for wisdom. Just because we’ve been in ministry our entire married life, doesn’t ever mean we or anyone has it all. I needed it today watching your journeys. Praying you guys have a safe and memorable time. Xoxo. Deana
I love your family!!! Watching this video made me so envious to get on the road. Your surrendering story was awesome and made me cry! But I have been there and done that. Your kids are precious and I look forward to seeing them grow up. Thanks for sharing your life with us!
Thank you Marissa for sharing your story of surrendering to God about extending your family. I think it’s great that you lean on God and the situation because of your faith believing it all came about. I am so happy for you and Nathan for the family you do have because you are a great family and I know many blessings will come your way. I’m so glad you made it all the way to Montana with all the smoke. Love that Corn Palace. That was cool! Seeing Mount Rushmore was beautiful. So glad you made it there safely. Great video! Safe travels and see you soon!
Thank you for sharing your story Marissa! Sorry about the smoke, ugh! Funny, we ran in to you guys at Glacier KOA pool, must have been 7 years ago. Thanks for inspiring us to get our trailer all those years ago!
Really enjoyed your testimony Marissa! It really was wonderful to hear and so good to know you are willing to share your faith so publicly. God bless you for sharing this. 😊
Wall Drug is an experience! We went to Glacier 2 summers ago in late June. Going to the Sun road was closed because of a snow storm so it seems to be just luck if you catch it just right.
Marrisa your story is exactly what God wants from all of us. The Lord was with you that day and he smiled down on you with the precious gift, JJ. God bless you all. What rig are you in? We did Mt Rushmore a few years ago and just absolutely loved it there. It took us 3 years to get to Glacier National Park cause we waited till there was no fires. Thanks for all your videos!
We live off of US 2 in the U.P of Michigan and we went from Glacier to home. And now I want to travel from Home to the West Coast on US 2. Great adventure you guys.
Marissa, your talking today brought up memories for me. I love the Badlands. You guys had some measure of following back then, but not as big as it is now. You posted that you were there on the wall. My son and I were in our first rig and had just been on the road for a few months. We saw an airstream and reached out to you. We had just missed you. You had moved on to the Black Hills. Last summer was the first summer I didn’t visit there since that first visit. There are so many memories for me (like when a storm blew in that was so strong that it blew my slide in and knocked my Rv off of its jack). I am remiss that we missed you and I cried with you in your video when you told Nathan you were pregnant on your trip to Alaska. Maybe one day we’ll meet. I did meet the Long Long Honeymoon folks there one year. Just so you’ll know: I totally blame you guys posting about the wall for how popular it is now….. ROFLOLOLOL. By the way, my son that I traveled with is the boy that I waited 12.5 years for…..
This was one of my favorite videos this year. Why? I don’t know. It just felt raw and real and still hopeful. Marissa your story caught in my heart as we just shared a similar story yesterday. A story of letting go of a dream and saying Your will be done and being content with whatever that meant. And then God showed us His mighty faithfulness and gave us more than we had imagined. Be blessed LJMJ. Be blessed.
We were just there in early June and it was amazing and a little emotional. We also camped at Devils Tower on our trip from Ca to our new home in Virginia. Loved the video.
We just got home from 3 month travel contract Helena Montana. We hit glacier prior to sun road being fully open but we had so much fun exploring Montana for those three months . We were blessed to see the mountains before the fires set in. Check out boat ride gates of the mountain it’s between Great Falls and Helena. So much beauty and information on fire jumpers during the boat ride.
Marissa, so vulnerable and joyous to share your testimony like that. My favorite memory of your channel is when you were in AK and Nathan you were pregnant. Not sure if you’re comfortable with it… but I’d love to hear more about your testimony and how you stay faithful while traveling.
We just missed you guys! We are pulling into the east side of Glacier today! My 10 year old daughter will be disappointed we missed you! Our family enjoys the videos! Have a safe trip!
Thank you for being vulnerable such a great message even though I personally haven't had those thoughts around pregnancy I've had thoughts about other stuff and a good reminder to surrender!
I love, love love Glacier National Park, you will have an awesome time! Similarly, my husband and I tried for about five years to have children before I decided to give up and suggested we start to travel. In 2013 we went to Glacier as it was super high on places I wanted to visit. Well, my son was finally conceived a month after our trip to Glacier. We tell him he was our Glacier gift! I think he and Hensely are the same age. Now he wants us to go back to Glacier so he can have a sibling.
Marissa, thank you for sharing your heart. ❤️ I too had to finally surrender to God’s will when I was feeling discontented with my life without a baby. And then he gave me the sweetest gift 💝 my daughter Alexis Rose! 🌹
We’ve been in western South Dakota a few weeks and heading to glacier very soon to spend a couple of months! Fun to watch you guys pass through where we are and going to where we are headed next. Safe travels!
A friend and I used to volunteer as leaders in a scouting program years ago. When the kids would ask are we there yet? He would just say, “10 minutes.” After the 3rd time with the same answer, the kids would realize he wasn’t going to answer and stopped asking. Brilliant!
We were in Great Falls in June. The wind blew day and night and it was chilly. We did one day in Yellowstone and it snowed. Great trip and beautiful scenery.
Marissa, your story is inspirational! I struggled for quite a while and the freedom we get from truly surrendering to Him, it's indescribable. I suffered 3 miscarriages before having our first miracle arrive earth side!
Alright, this confirms it, we crossed paths! I did see the Lineage in St. Mary's Campground while walking my dog. It stuck out in my mind because I had seen so many videos about it being a new driveable from Grand Design but didn't put it together that it would be you guys. Also, I'm having deja vu with your trip since I just came from camping The Wall, seeing Mt. Rushmore, passing through Billing, the Walmart in Great Falls, and finally St Mary's. I'm sure you are far ahead of me at this point as I'm still hanging out on the East side. Me and the dog head to West Glacier next week. Hope you are having the best time!!!!
Nathan and Merissa. If you find yourself near Des Moines, we are in Altoona working at Adventureland. I’ve got a few day passes I’d be glad to share with y’all.
We live in South Dakota so this was really fun to watch! Love your story, Marissa, of surrendering to God! So awesome! The Badlands has some great boondocking spots for sure. God bless you guys and have fun in Glacier! We hope the smoke blows out. We were just in the Beartooth Mountains and up in Yellowstone National Park a few weeks ago and the smoke wasn't too bad at all. Take care and safe travels! ❤
As a South Dakotan, nothing is more tourist trap than the Corn Palace and Wall Drug. (Well maybe also Keystone?) I think I have a picture on the jackrabbit every year until I was 13.
First of all Just Praise Jesus and wow and thank you Marissa so much for being vulnerable ❤I stopped at 13 minutes with tears in my eyes because what you said speak so deeply right now in my life and I just want to say thank you so much❤ I have so much respect for you and I appreciate you so much thank you❤
Wow! Such a wonderful story! Thank you for that. I’ve had a few of those moments with different areas of my life. Different seasons where the Lord has shown me an area I have not surrendered to Him. It’s such a struggle until we release it and then I wonder why i tried to keep it so long in my own hands…His way is always best. I always have to pray “help me in my unbelief” because my desire to keep it in my own hands is my belief that I can do it better.
Have visited the Corn Palace and Wall Drug but was not aware of Nomad View although when we were there it was probably too hot to boondock. Looks like a beautiful spot.
Marissa, Thank you for sharing your story of surrender. In the past year, God has been asking me to surrender my life to Him which including me giving up my job in May. Last night, while watching your video, you started talking and God reminded me, He sees me and I am in His hands!
13:49 just want to first say Thanks for that share, and remember, you didn’t get a “No!”, you got a “Not right now, you’re not ready.” He then did something possibly because you did surrender all, then you were ready. And…. JJ 😊
Marissa 😭 Your story of surrendering to God your will and desire for growing your family was SO TOUCHING. Thank you for sharing ❤️ JJ is such a blessing to your family and a gift from God. 👏🙌🙏
Thank you so much!! He is a gift from God we are grateful!
"I want in my life what God wants in my life". Powerful message. Praying it now.
Your story was so moving! And such a great reminder to surrender to God’s will!!!

Marissa, your story is inspirational! I struggled for quite a while and the freedom we get from truly surrendering to Him, it's indescribable. I suffered 3 miscarriages before having our first miracle arrive earth side!
🙌🙌🙌
Oh that’s so funny! We are crossing paths!!!
Here at Glacier now. Up at 4am to get out there and find a parking spot at Logan’s Pass. But so worth it! The views are amazing even with the smoke. 🤩
It’s undeniably beautiful 🤩
The Wall is still my favorite camp spot of all times. We have stayed at that same Cabella's in Billings.
It’s so gorgeous 🤩
Marissa, thank you for sharing & giving all glory to God! ✝️
🥰🥰🥰
The first time we every boondock was at the badlands because of you guys. Thank you.
Awesome 👏
Looked like you were enjoying your food. Always enjoy watching your videos.
😝😝😝
Nathan and Merissa. If you find yourself near Des Moines, we are in Altoona working at Adventureland. I’ve got a few day passes I’d be glad to share with y’all.
Thank you!
Thank you for watching 😊🥰
As a South Dakotan, nothing is more tourist trap than the Corn Palace and Wall Drug. (Well maybe also Keystone?) I think I have a picture on the jackrabbit every year until I was 13.
It is a tourist trap.
hope you guys are fine and safe . Looking forward to your next video in the new Lineage❤
We are moving so quick in this Lineage!!! Thanks!
First of all Just Praise Jesus and wow and thank you Marissa so much for being vulnerable ❤I stopped at 13 minutes with tears in my eyes because what you said speak so deeply right now in my life and I just want to say thank you so much❤ I have so much respect for you and I appreciate you so much thank you❤
You are so welcome 🥰
That was a great testimony! God bless you all.
Thank you 😊
Exactly, such a human struggle.
Looking forward to hearing more of this adventure!
🥳 we are excited to share!
Marissa thank you for sharing your God story. Your transparency is one of many reasons I enjoy watching your journey 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for being here!
Just finishing up summer long trip that took us thru Mt. Rushmore and the area. The Crazy Horse Memorial is really interesting to see.,
Next trip!
Have visited the Corn Palace and Wall Drug but was not aware of Nomad View although when we were there it was probably too hot to boondock. Looks like a beautiful spot.
It is a little corny!
Marissa, Thank you for sharing your story of surrender. In the past year, God has been asking me to surrender my life to Him which including me giving up my job in May. Last night, while watching your video, you started talking and God reminded me, He sees me and I am in His hands!
He sees you, and loves you. I am grateful that sharing can be helpful to point others to God!
13:49 just want to first say Thanks for that share, and remember, you didn’t get a “No!”, you got a “Not right now, you’re not ready.” He then did something possibly because you did surrender all, then you were ready. And…. JJ 😊
Yes 🙌
