The devs have said they're aiming to have 13 different biomes with 13 different bosses but from the lore (i.e. Valheim being the singular 10th world in the Norse cosmology) I assume they're going to add them to the edge of the map rather than creating extra worlds. You never know, perhaps there'll be other branches of Yggdrasill which we'll learn were cut loose but it seems more likely they'll just expand the existing one.
Last I checked Valheim did not exist in the mythos, and was created just for the game as it can fit the idea. There only 9 realms I'm aware of on the world tree.

The established lore for Valheim, which exists independently of the historical beliefs of Iron age Scandinavians, is that Valheim was a secret 10th world which was separated from the others after Oðin banished a bunch of his enemies there, and that lore would make it difficult for the devs to add other worlds without screwing up their lore. That all exists independently of the historical religion because it is lore specific to Valheim the game but it still influences where the devs are likely to go with it because it remains important within the context of the game.
I think nobody tell you this, but when you see an serpent just mark the location, deep down in the ocean it's a spawner for serpent, i hope this it's usefull for you, also grate job with Valheim, and i see you progress better and better in every video, keep up the good work!
Not sure about the spawner itself, but (at least for me) serpents usually do spawn roughly around the same places. Just be sure to go there at night, preferably during the storm.
I went into so many plains bioms trying to find a Vegvisir to last boss, and still found the last boss without it. Still haven't seen a Vegvisir for him, so it's not even marked on the map (except my own marking of it). Went into 7 or 8 Mountain bioms before I found a Vegvisir for Moder, and that vegvisir was at the Moder mountain. It's something I really hope they change... I don't mind them being a bit rare, but there could be like clues lying around somewhere, like runes saying "I saw the mother of dragons on the high mountain, far north from here" or whatever...
well typically, you would want to wash the dishes by hand before using a dishwasher so that the dishwasher does more sanitation and cleans the dishes better in the end. So, even if you use a dishwasher, most sane people end up washing their dishes mostly by hand anyways. Those who just stick their dishes end deserve the death sentence, honestly

If you build a moat around your farm when there’s a raid they will spawn outside of the moat. That’s what I did with my whole base and as long as it’s far enough away from your build their ranged attacks can’t reach. Then it ends lol I watch them while they spawn and they just kinda walk around without a purpose until they disappear

True. Obelisks are a better source of stone than mining mountains. Even obelisk hunting (time of exploring map till finding obelisk) + collapsing it is faster than mining mountain biome.
you want the boss to break those large pillars around him, he takes damage from the stones falling and crushing him [for free] and you can use that safe cover / free damage. hehe. I also put portals a fair distance near the boss zone (far enough away they wont get destroyed and close enough it's not a total hike). when im out adventuring I always have 2 portal mats on me and 2 adventure named portals back home ready to be connected. has saved me quite often. if you break the boat while standing in its middle, the nails will never sink and you'll always get all the supplies immediately. :) I've had to lift the ground to recover a fair amount (did this for serpent scales too when it wasn't mid-ocean). the gatherer in me is internally screaming "Get those cloudberries" they are adding more places and more bosses. the ashlands is getting more, mistlands will be active and there's more planned on their roadmap closer to full release. ^^
A few episodes ago you asked if there was an easier way to move metal, there is. Start a different world and build a store house. log out of that world and log into main. Fill inventory from main world with metal, log out log into other world, deposit metal, log out then log into main world go to main base and log out. Log into storage world and grab the metal, log out log back into main world. You have your metal at your main base. Works until Dev's change that. Now that I mentioned it they may.
I never saw this tipp as a recommendation, so I post this just here: If you annoyed of the death mosiquitos in the plains, build some big signal fires in your plains farm around. They are attracted by light. :)
Another great video! Just fyi, the game has a object cleanup it does when the local item count exceeds the limit of 1000, so most of the stone that make up those pillars is despawning when you break the pillar from the bottom. Also, those giant rocks in the mountains WILL get you more stone and you can pop the them if you excavate around and under them.
You can always tell the builders on a server. I do this on our server, and on my friends server on of his co-workers does the same thing. It's hilarious, some of us crazy builders are more focused on the boss destroying things to get resources then the boss itself.
Tip. If the obelisk does not collapse, raise ground until you can reach it and hit it some more with the pickaxe. Repeat a few times, in different places until it collapses. That way you don't need to carry wood and build ladders.
Norse mythology has the rainbow bridge, which is essentially a portal room to other worlds. I think going to other realms would be aweseom dlc after great north
Another way to get stone is to put a stonecutter in the snow biome at the skeletal ruins and just dismantle the bottom row. Everything will fall down and you will have lots of stone :)
someone may have mentioned this already. But I see you taking super long boat trips while still having bonemass, then having to deal with headwinds. If you are going more than 2 continents away, its super helpful to atleast take moder's buff with you just in case. There's always something to do if you reach your destination and find you need bonemass. But its on cd. Just go gather crops real quick and let you buff come off CD before heading to the harder objective
I recommend double checking the area around the boss fight before you start the actual fight. It was foggy when I did mine and didn't see there was a small camp nearby and in the middle of the fight I aggro'd a 1 star fuling berserker and several regular fuling mobs. Not fun XD
Broad, if you really want to try and one shot the Fulings, Parry them and then use your Mace's strong attack, which is MMB by default, it's a knockback/stun/critical. so if you use it on an already stunned fuling, you might end up killing it. the downside is that it takes a second to swing, so you have to be activating it as soon as you feel you're in range, OR parry them at point blank range and use it then. you'll want fire resist for combating Yagluth.
I get my stones from mountains but I don't mine em, I harpoon a stone golem into the rocks and he mines em for me. So far I've gotten like 12k stones from that.
Sneak when you fire the first bow shot, its like a backstab when you bow from stealth, I posted that before the end of the clip, Dude with a 60+ knife you can land 1k backstabs from stealth
Well, the game plays in the northern mythology and they do talk about the 9 realms, so they could add these. Or at least variations of these. That would actually be quite cool. Muspelheim where you need strong fire resistance and find fire giants. Nilfheim, a place of ice and darkness etc. and theme the terrain according to the legends.
I managed to get about 500 stone from a ruined castle in mountain by using my 'smasher' (warhammer). That might make mountain more appealing for stone farming, plus it's fun and mixed up the also fun pillar collapsing.
The pillars are technically faster to mine, but on average they output roughly ~350 stone. The large stones that you find on/in the ground take much longer to mine out, but roughly provide 800-1000 stone. So it's really up to preference and availability at that point.
You can dig around the farm and place the work benches inside that area. Even though a raid happens, they cant pass through the ditch and nothing happens in the end. This is the safest base defense for me.
That corpserun buff you get will protect you while you equip your gear... Just make sure you've got plenty of health and stamina before you go through the portal.

@0:55 event raid happens due to having 3 any or a combination of: workbench, furnace, bed, campfire, portal, kiln, smelter somewhere within 30-35m (16-18 2m floors) from the player, cant remember exactly, even if those 3 things are the same like 3 beds or 3 campfires.
take note when u get back your corpse u get this corpse run buff and combined with gear and food ur basically invinsible, it does reduce damage, increase health regen and reduce running stamina drain for 1 min.
You know I really don't use mods for this game but the one I actually picked up was the BetterStamina mod. It's just quality of life that means you no longer lose stamina while encumbered. You still go slow as fuck and if you try to fight or do anything that uses stamina you will still burn it but it won't come back until you are unencumbered. Makes transporting heavy items so much easier.
It would be so cool if they added new worlds! I was talking the other day to my friend about how in minecraft when there is new biome you go to unloaded chunks to find it so you dont have to start a new world to see the new biome. New planets would be a great way to add new biomes and such without forcing everyone on a new world
If you hold shift and click on stack of items you can split the stack and carry it off sequentially, no need to drop things in the ocean because you are ecumbered...
You can reach the deep in the water using 45 degree roof and going under it. You can even user the hammer once your feet reach the bottom. No need for air, as long as you have stamina
If you plan to use an overlapping style for 1x2 stone building you'll want to make sure to reinforce it with iron beams to get the same performance as with the 2x4 sections. Realized I made that mistake 3/4 way through my own mountain fortress and had to demo nearly down to the foundation to correct it. Hours of work lost for a simple lack of forward planning x_x

You go to the snow biome and find a Gollum. Get it to chase you and have it destroy all the rock. Once you feel enough is laying around, kill it and collect your rocks.
While overencumbered you should be able to turn your character into the direction youre looking using chat-commands such as /point, hope this helps saving those stamina-pots in the future... Cheers
The reason people are saying to get stone in the mountain is because if a stone golem hits a rock he deletes it in seconds and drops so much stone probably some way to use them to make a stone farm tbh
Theu could add more worlds. But the way it fits is weird. In norse mythos all the worlds are in different parts of the world tree. So theyd have to add midgar(earth) Asgard, niflehiem, helhiem, ect. But since the makers took liberties by making valheim, a non existent world in the mythos, they really could just do whatever amd create new plane of existence. But id imagine to attain them youd have to get to the world tree, which currently is incoporial, and not an actual thing outside seeing it everywhere..but this makes sense as the world tree itself is everywhere.
In case you didn't know, you can create another world, log into it with your metal, leave it there, get back to main base in main world, login again to this new world take metal and login back to main world. That way you can get your metal to your main base in like 5 minutes, instead of travelling half an hour by boat

Having more worlds Definitely would fit in, as it follows Norse mythology, which has 9 realms, however you where brought there by a Valkyrie after dying in midgard(earth) and to me it seems like they are at a world that doesn't make sense in Norse myth. Due to each realm having 1 major race and a few animal species. It seems they have combined the lore of 3 or 4 realms for the one world

I leveled my stealth in swamp crypts. The enemies are close enough to level the skill but they cant reach you unless you mine the dirt.

To turn around when out of stamina, have nothing in your hands and press right click or whatever key is bound to your block.
You can aggro Lox's to help you break stone pillars or boulders in the plains, they're pretty effective

Having more worlds Definitely would fit in, as it follows Norse mythology, which has 9 realms, however you where brought there by a Valkyrie after dying in midgard(earth) and to me it seems like they are at a world that doesn't make sense in Norse myth. Due to each realm having 1 major race and a few animal species. It seems they have combined the lore of 3 or 4 realms for the one world
