Sir, your inputs are very good and helpful. We have query, if a candidate got a good score and opted some college example JIPMER in round one AIQ, and applied for cmc also and got selected in CMC. Can candidate cancel the JIPMER option ? And when will cmc councelling will start? Is it before AIQ round 1 or after Round1 councelling? Pls clarify us regarding.
AIQ round 1 will complete. Then, TN round 1 will happen. If you have joined JIPMER in round 1, but subsequently get CMC, you can resign and join CMC. MCC will not allow resignation after start of all India round 2. You are allowed to resign prior to that.

20% TN Christians for CMC come under government quota. Please check the prospectus. TN Christian minority in other colleges like Panimalar and Madha come under management quota. As usual, the selection committee has its own way of confusing candidates.

If you are a native of TN and if you have all the supporting documents, then you can apply for government quota seats in TN.
