Your son will love that you documented all these things, especially when you are gone. I lost my mom when i was 26! Love your son wanting to revisit some memorabilia.
Thank you Layla (and Sam) for another informative and inspirational video. Being a perfectionist, I love you sharing your suggestions on how to disguise mistakes. With love from England ❤
Thank you for this series. I'm just switching to Traveler's Notebooks Standard size. I live near Seattle. With regard to saving and storing. I have decades of journals but no one to leave them to (no children, no siblings, etc). So I keep about a year. The rest are photographed page by page at high resolution, stored on hard drive, with back ups in another locations. Then I destroy the originals. I just don't have room to keep it all, especially since I'm not keeping them to hand down.
Thank you Layle.... I’ve watched the 3 previous videos and sure will continue with the rest until I catch up.... Loads of love 💕💕💕💕💗💗💕 Ijeoma from Nigeria 🇳🇬
I really needed to be reminded that " you do you". I am all over the board when it comes to style ( maybe that is my style ) . I love clean, I love all the stuff too. Everytime I look at someone elses books I think " that looks great" I want to do that - but all my projects start off one way and then end up - all over the board. But - SO DO YOU! You are the first designer I have seen that I truly relate to. Thanks . I 'm going to do me.
Regina - I LOVE your comment! That IS your style. There's no one box that we need to fit in; you can fit in as many boxes as you like :) You should feel free to do whatever inspires you at the moment. It's all about having fun. Have fun!!!
Sheryl \ Missouri Hi Layle! I'm watching your series of classes on the TN's. I'm new to TN's as I always just buy a yearly spriral bound planner every year. I use to scrapbook, but now I'm into making cards for the past 5 years. Just looking to use my supplies for more than just cards. Thanks for all this great content.
Back again from Southern California ... you asked so ... I love to scrapbook, make mini albums, quilt and crochet. I’ve been scrapbooking for about 30+ years way back to when Creative Memories began and shortly after my first of three daughters were born.
So fun(ny) to watch this video with Sam...I am used to working and dealing with teens. They`re a hoot. Thanks, Layle, for your awesome ideas, and for sharing this time with us. I am already adapting your tips to some of my TN pages, and have just bought some printables from Traci Reed. :) Now, on to video #5! Yay!
Hi Beth! You're welcome! I'm having fun doing the classes. Stay tuned for a video tomorrow where I walk through my Coronavirus and then another class this coming Saturday :)
I'm enjoying your videos, Layle. Thank you for sharing them. I did want to tell you that when you were rummaging through the brown paper bag with the stuff you collected from your trip to the State park and then putting them back in, I'm pretty sure I spotted a scrapbooking product of some kind from the Wander collection stuck in among the things. You probably don't want to lose that.
Oh wow, totally missed that. I'll go back and see what I inadvertently put in the bag that I might be frantically trying to find later ;) Thanks for the heads up!
Thank you for all the detail in these videos. I’ve purchased TN’s before, but never followed through. I’ve been an album maker for years. I’m ready for a change and this is it. Can’t wait for Saturday’s class.
Thank you Layle and Sam. Great class and I’m smiling while listening to your back and forth. :). Binging to catch up. Layle-do you ever take empty pages out of your tns to save bulk?
Sorry to be so offtopic but does anybody know of a tool to get back into an instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my login password. I love any tricks you can offer me.
@Armando Nicolas I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm trying it out atm. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Thanks so much for the links to the free printables! I am struggling with the timeline one though. It says it's 4x8 but it's not printing that size. Did you have to resize the file? Any tips?
I’m so enjoying your video’s I look forward to them each week. It’s funny you mentioned your hands I thought they looked a little dark and briefly wondered about your oxygen level. I laughed when you said it was from your jeans. I wondered, what do you do with you leftover ephemera from trips? Do you throw it away or file it away some how? Thank you for sharing your time and ideas.
Hi Angie :) Once I know I'm done documenting the trip I throw away what I haven't used when it's brochures, receipts, etc. I try to make sure to use all of the things I purchase like postcards & stickers.

Thank you Layle! I appreciated the notebook with single pages. It takes pressure off doing a spread and actually getting your memories in a book!

Yay! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Great tips, some of which I’ve used but so many I hadn’t!

Hi Laura! When your printer dialog box pops up, check the 'scale' - it should be set to 100%. If it's not, change it to 100 and then give it a try.
Thank you for all these TN classes! Looking forward to more! What brand/model color printer do you use for the digital printables?
rmcfarland4601 Hey, just wondering if we’re related somehow. Saw your post and said to myself, hey! same last name!
You're welcome! I use this printer - amzn.to/2V2aAua
Sam was great!! He reminds me so much of my 18yo... helpful and loving, but definitely teen
Will you be considering making a corona notebook?
Hi Helen. Can you explain a little bit more what you are looking for?
Love this... Karen from UK
LOVE this especially your COVID TN.
Love!
What is, and where can I find it, the pink thing you have your pens and stuff standing up in?
Hi Dawn! It's called a Stash & Store, you can find them here on my website :)
