I’m not a big drive through car wash person but these PDQ set ups are great for quick washes and under carriage esp in the north to get salt off in winter
Funny seeing this on RUclips...I used to be a technician for the touch less car washes in Orlando, Florida. I used to perform maintenance, installs, repairs and upgrades. The nice thing about the ones I serviced, it required no movement from you at all, as the dryers would get docked by the main unit, and dry your car for you. Nice laser wash overall.
I go to the Orlando Michigan St. Laserwash all the time and love it. The key is to use their brushes to scrub off the outside of the vehicle BEFORE you take it through the automatic wash. If you do this then there is no problem and gets very clean.
Came here b/c was told these are supposedly so fantastic out in CA. Hell, we've had those for years here, less the fancy disco lights. The only thing I can think of is maybe this one has much higher water pressure that the predecessor models (?)
Important missing parts are the before and after pics of the car and a shot from outside of the undercarriage spray function. The problem with the latter is they usually only last 10 or so seconds or less while driving through. What good is that? They need to set it up where you can park over the undercarriage washer for a couple of minutes at least, while it sprays with the same high pressure as the top side sprayers.
That was a interesting car was at least you got a little bit wet from the high water pressure jet that got the car wet and so as you just for got to bring body wash and shampoo
no touch car washes equal NOT CLEANED worth a damn. been there, done that waste of time and money. they do NOT clean anything off a vehicle much less pollen.
You would be surprised at the cleaning power these touch free machines have with the correct chemistry in place. A proper high and low PH pre-soak application works by lifting different organic / inorganic soils to be rinsed off with high pressure. Then the surface PH is balanced and topped with a good surface sealant to create a deep glossy shine. Friction cleaning obviously is superior due to its extra leg of mechanical cleaning action however for touch-less washes chemistry is significantly more different.
@@carwashnews I am amazed at the stupidity of people who continue to advocate touchless car washes. been to several and will not clean a dirty vehicle worth a damn. they may get the loose stuff off but will NOT get all of it off no matter the presoak/washing. you have to touch the dirty areas or it's NOT coming off.

This has GOT to be an EAST COAST AND WEST COAST THING !! Complete waste of time, money and effort. But hey wasting all that water and chemicals into the drain has to be GREAT for the environment right !!! All I see is a lot of water, electricity, and time wasted for a car that will NOT be clean. Give me an old fashioned spinning and flopping rag car wash anytime. (they have under body sprayers at most of them). Oh and you cannot back up when your on a conveyor pulling you thru the good ole carwashes.

Can't stand these overprice cheapass car washes. They only do single passes on the rinse so the soap still stays on the trunk

Nobody cares, why do you think it matters, huh?
And nobody's gonna like your comment. Therefore, we all can tell you're too young to be on RUclips.
Looks lame and inefficient... mind as well just wash it at home
Laser wash 4000 is better
How so?
It scans and doing their job
I have no idea what that means
@@dachba213 it's better
Wow, thank you for clearing that up for me, sounds like the 4000 is definitely way better
