I love all your videos when the fur boys are with you. So cute when Eco was jumping around to get in the door. It was 28 this Sunday morning in Rainier Wa. and my indoor little buddy heater kept me warm. It made it to a heat wave 🌊 of 42. I love all your hats there fantastic
Another epic campsite. I really enjoyed the wild prairie and hills in the background to your story. Then you were hiking in junipers, snow and awesome peaks -- all in one campsite! Very cool teaser!

Made it to Quartzite. Only a 14 day pass. Just in case lol. Got in after dark last night. Today is getting car cleaned up a bit and getting used to the area. My camp is near the first vault toilet from the office. Just so I don’t get lost.
Let me know if you got any questions about Quartzsite. Also I think you will find everyone hanging outside their camp or walking around or at the water station is very friendly. Good source of information. I wonder if you can get a $40 discount on the long term Pass if you decide to stay longer? 🌵🌲
@ may find out about the discount thing. I probably think not lol. Yeah as I drove in to find a spot talked to an old white beard guy. Turns out it’s his first time here too. Then I met a guy walking his dog by my camp, and I let him know outright my dog likes to dominate other dogs. As a warning. He appreciated that. He said too many times “oh my dog is fine with people/other dogs and they end up fighting”. I’m like well I’d like to avoid that. Dogs will be dogs lol
Haha, nice teaser at the end. LOL! Re; Dodger....have you tried the flashlight trick? When my dogs got to the point that they couldn't find their way back to the house from the yard, I started using a flashlight. I would shine it directly at their faces and they could see that well enough to follow it back to the house. At night I could shine it on the ground in front of them and they would follow it well enough that I could guide them around obstacles. (My place is set up so there's a ramp from the deck to the yard with a doggy sized hole in the deck fence, so I can't just go down there and get them. I'd have to leave the deck by the stairs and walk around the outside of the fence to another gate that is usually buried in snow in the winter because the prevailing winds like to make a big drift right there. LOL). I'd try a really bright LED flashlight for Dodger since he's so far away when he realizes he lost you (that speeding up is anxiety/panic. He's a vulnerable deaf/blind elderly dog who gets his security from knowing you are nearby. It's scary for him when he doesn't know where you are.) Meanwhile...negative windchills here the last few days. My southern born dog has NOT been loving it.... but I've learned he can hold his bladder for at least 14 hours because he just really does not want to go out there. LOL
Yeah you’re right he does kinda get scared. It’s cute to know he needs us. He rarely shows it otherwise. I’m still trying to figure out far away he can be and I can still call him back with motion or sound. I like the flashlight idea. I sometimes do that at night when I let them out before bed. 🌵🌲🐕🦺🐕
