This story was reworked several times, notably by the Three Stooges in the films “Brideless Groom” (also written by Clyde Bruckman) and “Husbands Beware”; in “The Suitor (Le Soupirant)”, a 1962 French comedy starring Pierre Étaix; and in “The Bachelor”, a 1999 film starring Chris O'Donnell and Renée Zellweger.
The poster in front of the theater was: Julian Eltinge, born William Julian Dalton, was an American stage and film actor and female impersonator. lol!😅
quesque cette musique techno sur un chef d oeuvre de Buster keaton ils sont tombés sur la tête . Comme il y des sous titrage français je vous conseille de le mettre en muet
26:25, look at the Mercers windshield glass.... now look at it again.. 26:49 its not the same. But then go to 27:44 Wow look closely.. the front bumper is bent upwards a LOT.... Now look again of the final take... You be the judge. Go to 27:47!!! Aah haa it likely got bent in a rehearsal of the final shot. If it all was filmed/edited together in that sequence. One more thing, look close... very close, as theres a curb beside the tree there on the left, no room for the gal in her Mercer to be cruising right beside Buster. One of Hollywoods mysteries.
The first scene of the film was actually shot in Technicolor at the time. I was surprised at this as well, but it’s discussed in James Curtis’s biography of Keaton. Apparently the original plan was to shoot the entire picture in color, but the shooting ratio that Keaton used for his gags made this proposition prohibitively expensive.
The updated sound track is a bit too modern for such a classic. I'll have to grab my disco bell bottoms to dance to this music!
just shut the sound off. Much better.
This Scott Joplin piece was written in 1895 same year Buster was born
Why the hell is there heavy rock over a silent film lmao 😂
Period music, please. The music used ruins the atmosphere of this classic film.
I laugh so hard in this movie.
Buster was athletic af!
43:58 - Just a small thing .... Buster fall into step so quickly with the marching police officers?!?!?
- Really impressive! 👍👍👍👍
He was so good at showing his discomfort! :D
This is probably my favorite Keaton.

The music tracks chosen almost ruin a great film. Just awful

Why did you ruin it with the trashy noise starting at 6:18?
What's up with the sound track?
Очаровательный фильм! Buster Keaton, как всегда, - неподражаем!

Как называется этот фильм?
The movie title is "Seven Chances".
There are other versions available on RUclips that utilize music more appropriate to the time period.
I kinda liked the rock music with this

So many beautiful women. Hundreds!

Cut the crappy music it killed it for me👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Disgraceful to make it colorized and to add rock music over it, ruined the aesthetic yk?

Colorized a classic B&W. Disappointing. 👎🏻
