I haven't had the opportunity to fly my drone for a few weeks, so while on a 4-day break at Combe Haven Holiday Park in East Sussex, I managed to get my drone in the air just before the gale-force winds and lashing rain hit the South East of England. This was just a short flight as the wind speed at ground level was 15 mph with lengthy 25mph swirling gusts. One can only imagine the wind speed at 150ft. My little sub 250g drone handled the conditions admirably, although I landed her after about 15 minutes as the wind speed increased drastically.
