I’ve a Euro 4 with double coil EMG pups and is an amazing bass, rich tones, intonation, and sustain! It’s a boat anchor and hurts my back after a gig ha but love it. The neck-through helps sustain. Only thing I wish is that they made one like the model I have with smaller neck with smaller frets for fast prog playing.
The bass plays and feels so good.. I think a good reason, at least in part, is that Ned Steinberger originally designed them! That’s kind of the Midas touch!

had to look it up after this comment, it looks like the 4 is 9 lbs. not hugely heavy but not super light either (for anyone with sore backs).
edit: it turns out this is for the old LX model, nobody i have found is saying what the new one weighs, although it seems at some point recently they lightened them.
edit of the edit 🤣 chicago music (my guys!) has the bolt on 4 at 8 lbs which is pretty light actually.

I traded my Sandberg to Spector Euro lx5, same color as yours, with Emg humbuckers and original Tonepump.
I finally got the growly sound and everything that I had ever wanted from bass 👍👍

I just got mine 3 weeks ago and in the same color except I have the TonePump circuit. I did some asking around and it turns out Rex Brown's old Spector's have the TonePump as well. If it's good enough for Rex then it will certainly work for me.

I've got a 2011 Euro 4LX-35 with EMG DC's and the old Tonepump and it's always my favorite thing to play. Nothing comes close. Just a perfect feeling bass, incredible sounds too. I'd love the legacy preamp but I've come to really learn the nuances of the Tonepump

I owned a Czech Spector Rebop 5 back in the day. It wasn't the most versatile bass for me tonally but goddamn that thing was built well and felt great to play and looked amazing and roared through my Ampeg rig. I remember staying up late playing along to Megadeth and Cannibal Corpse songs and all the clicking and clacking and growling sounds were marvelous.

Warwick wouldn’t be what it is today if they didn’t copy the ns2(1979) with the streamer back in 1984 supposedly to bring the ns2 body shape to the euro market. Early 1985-1990 Warwick streamers have it indicated on the control cavity (licensed by Spector ) cause they were sued and loss and had to pay per streamer made

*I love 95% of this bass, but...*
*I'm waiting for a Babicz replacement bridge to come available before I take the plunge.*
I absolutely loathe screw pole bridges, because I've been known to play aggressively and not once have I found one that would "sit & stay."
Fender standard and Rickenbacker bridges are the worst while Warwick 2-piece bridges are the lest temperamental, but I'm not taking the chance as they all move.
*Disclaimer:* This is based on my personal experience. So if this isn't an issue for you... I'm extremely jealous.

Have 2017 Euro Lx5. Quality of craftsmanship in this instrument is very very high. But I have to say that while Tonepump is extremely good sounding pre for rock/metal and overall picking technique then I found it very limiting and not that much versatile.
Neck profile is very specific due to how wide and thick it is. Not a problem for me since I m used to Pbass but might be too much for some ppl. 24 frets in five strings version feel cosmetic due to body shape.
