    Just caught while kid flipping on FireTV. See you're just starting and comments posted - you'll figure it out (loaded v unloaded snare) but check your state regs. Did want to state obvious that 1/8 cable is typically hog/wolf snare. State law dictates how snares or cable retraints some states must be built, placed, and what type of lock (relaxing, locking, if stops or break-aways are required to avoid incidentals). Good luck

    Hey buddy I would not use 1 rebar stake especially not with a snare. Not nockin you just thought I'd tell you I know people who have lost traps that way.

      I have switched to earth anchors just for the convenience of it. Thanks for the suggestion though.
