- We are on a rotting cactus rescue mission today. Those house plant chores are not always fun, but sometimes we have to do things we don't enjoy, to save our plants. In this video, I will show you how to save cactus from rot, so you can give your plant a second chance at life. I hope you will find this video very helpful, if you do, make sure to give me a 👍and subscribe to my channel. If you have any questions, leave a comment in the comment section, I'll be happy to help. Thanks for watching, and happy planting!🪴

Without cutting, try replanting in clean sand (only sand as medium). Looks like the medium, it holds more moisture than it should.
But Elaine….that intro!!! 🤩😄👍🏻
Thank you for advice! I really appreciate it. I’m glad you enjoyed my intro. 😁💚
Omg. I love the opening scene! 🤣🤣🤣 🔪 I hope this helps people see cacti are pretty hardy and easily rescued. Again, well done!!! 💚💚
I love your knife intro, lol 😝 so cute
😂🤣😂 Thank you!
Great little vlog ✅ love the intro lol 😂 🔪 😮🤣🤣 I never new that about cactus 🌵👍🏼 Chip 👋🏼🌱 CHIPS WORLD
Thank you Chip! 😂💚
I didn’t know that’s how root looked like in a cactus 🌵
Root should have been a little bit longer but since I had to chop that cactus before that is all it managed to grow since.
That intro! 😳😂 Visions of Psycho! 😂😂😂
Once you put it on the soil, how often do you water it? I tried this with a cactus that was growing wonky but the cut off sections didn’t make it. I’m pretty sure I had let it callous over, so I’m not sure what I did wrong…
Thank you for sharing! 💜💚🪴🌵
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed that intro!😂🤣😂 Once it closes up I put it in a soil and I would give just a teeny tiny a little bit of water every so often, and then you slowly build it up to a regular watering schedule. Somebody here commented to try to pot it in a clean sand. I have not tried that option but it sounds like a good one.
@@ElenasGreenPlanet Okay, thank you. Maybe I gave it too much water then…
@@StitchesbySharonH Very possible. The new cutting that I took I actually put it in a much smaller pot then you saw in the video where original Cactus was in. Just because when I took it out of the pot I realized how tiny those roots were and that pot was definitely a little too big for it.
